Perched on the north end of the Elk River and adjacent to Elk Neck State Forest, Elkton provides amazing natural beauty -- it is also located about halfway between Philadelphia and Baltimore, with just under an hour to each. In addition, it is about halfway between Washington, DC and New York City, with roughly two hours to each.
This ideal location has even more to offer with its charming and historic downtown shopping district, home to wide, brick-paved sidewalks; historic buildings filled with boutiques, restaurants, and cafes; period lighting; and colorful murals. Elkton was first settled in 1694 and played a role during the American Revolution, acting as a landing point for troops heading for Brandywine and later, Philadelphia.
It was much later when Elkton gained its claim to fame, however; when other northern states began passing strict marriage laws early in the 20th century, Maryland became a haven for those wanting to marry quickly and without restrictions.

Property Ratings at Glen Creek
Me and my husband have lived here for almost three years now and we love our apartment. The staff is great and very friendly. Our apartment is nice and spacious and a great kitchen also. We also love it here because it is quiet and our neighbors are great. The pool and fitness center are always clean and so are the apartments. I would recommended applying for these apartments because there's also shopping centers nearby.
I have lived her for 3years now and I love my apartment the apartment is really nice. The bedroom bathroom and kitchen are a great size. The management staff is really annoying they leave a lot of noticed on the door and the property manager is very rude. She's is not a pleasant person. It is very quiet here. They do keep the property clean. One thing you need to watch for is the maintenance guys they come in your apartment when your not home and they don't leave any notice.
I love my apartment it very quiet and lot space provided and tenant are very nice. The customer service is very good they fix thing quickly when needed. It in a good location for everything need such as shopping center and grocery store

NICE NEIGHBORS & STAFF .APT NICE W/D , AC , DW..PARKING LIGHTING & CAMERAS. FITNESS ROOM , POOL , PLAY AREA . GROUND KEPT.
I have lived here for 10yrs, my son has attended 2nd through 12 and will be graduating from Elkton High School. I really love the area I found all those years ago. I was treated like family from the start and its continued a decade later. I would love to stay where I am through the years my son is attending whatever college he desires. It will definitely give him the base he needs to continue his success in his school of higher learning.
EXTREMELY CLEAN! I NEVER SEEN ONE BUG IN MY APARTMENT! 24 HOUR GYM, ACCESS TO THE POOL.. the pool is always clean! A huge beautiful lounge for guest and family. A huge park for the kids. The neighborhood is extremely clean and very beautiful and most of all quiet! It's a safe place for kids to play outside. I stay in a 2 bedroom, two full bath on the second floor. It has a nice size balcony. Private entrance.. the best part.. I have stairs inside of my home.. that makes it feel more like a house.. even tho it's an APARTMENT : ) walk in closest in the master bedroom with a light! Inside the closest since it's so big! Haha modern kitchen and beautiful hardwood floor in the kitchen and bathrooms.. if I was you. I would definitely apply here : )
