The Pittsfield Lodi neighborhood begins along the southwest side of Downtown Ann Arbor and extends westward Highway 52. This large area includes part of the Pittsfield Charter Township and the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport. It is very close to Oak Valley Center, Briarwood Mall, the University of Michigan-South Campus, and Michigan Stadium – a historic football stadium, nicknamed the “Big House,” is home to the Michigan Wolverines.
When looking at Ann Arbor apartments, be sure to check out the Pittsfield Lodi area – it is a beautiful neighborhood, filled with mature trees and quiet lanes. And with such fast access to downtown, the university, the airport, Pittsfield Lodi is deceptively peaceful.

Property Ratings at Glencoe Hills
I lived at Glencoe Hills for five years and maintained my apartment in excellent condition despite its outdated state and pre-existing issues, such as rusted sinks and stained ceilings, which were present when I moved in. Upon moving out, I was charged $150 for minor marks on the kitchen countertops, which were already significantly worn and peeling at the edges. Despite my efforts to dispute the charge and highlight the apartment's condition during my tenancy, management dismissed my concerns, citing my move-in checklist and claiming the counters required reglazing. However, they have yet to provide proof that the countertops were actually reglazed as requested. Additionally, they ignored my request for an in-person or virtual meeting to discuss the matter. My experience with Glencoe Hills has left me feeling undervalued as a tenant. Security issues during my tenancy, including the theft of bikes from the laundry room due to an unsecured back door, were unresolved. Despite raising these and other concerns, including the legitimacy of the counter charge, my final request for documentation and further communication has gone unanswered. This lack of responsiveness and disregard for tenant concerns is frustrating and reflects poorly on their management practices. I would strongly caution tenants to thoroughly research and consider alternatives before choosing Glencoe Hills.
MY AC broken and had small months kid in home, I called and informed, and they said will send someone , i don't see any one till EOD. I stopped by leasing office, and they said same, again not seen anyone. After office hours, no one is lifting if i call them for emergency. Services here is very poor to fix anything in apartments, laundry and walkway carpets are dirty with bad smells. But they did my lease renewal with increase of 20%, about 200$ . I would say, i will not recommend join in this apartments.
Drug den. The apartment above me had an attempted break in. Our building has complained about drug use in the basement for months and nothing has been done. Just call the cops, they say. It does say in the lease our safety is not their responsibility. They spend thousands on keeping the community looking good to bring residents in but once you're in, they don't care about you. McKinley won't spend 100 dollars on a camera but you get new tulips every spring. :-)
I have lived across the street from this apartment for a long time. Always wanted to live there. Just could not afford the rent there.
Moved in almost a month ago and the place is very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. I know I live in a complex with lots of families and feel very safe. The only flaw is that the apartment was very ready for the internet change as some cable was cut so it took me a week to get everything sorted. Also, there are a few maintenance fixes that need to be done. Otherwise, there's plenty of space and Parking.
The apartments rent is what drew me in. The rooms are unevenly sized. I was content with the quality because the location and price were convienent. Our washcloth holder fell off because it was being held on by layers of paint. And Some cabinets were painted shut. They also failed to inform us of construction that was starting before our lease across from the building that they assigned us. There was consist noise until 7 everyday. They are good at leaving notes about a week before inspections and can they can become overbearing at times. The office always came off as cold and seemed to not respect us because we are college students.
