Property Ratings at Glencroft Club Apartments
I just renewed my lease for another year. I love my apartment, HOWEVER, the building is a dump. The hallways are horrible. This building needs a complete makeover. The two washers in the 3rd floor laundry room have been broken for almost 3 months. UNACCEPTABLE. I sent 2 emails to the corporate office, both of which have gone unanswered.
THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. Will tow a tentants car without a visible pass but will send out a message to give out parking passes for guests for Thanksgiving. Everything breaks and doesnt get fixed for a long time. Washing machines never work properly. Very unhappy. Not renewing lease. Smokers in the basement and in the other halls smoking inside their rooms. Nothing gets done about it.
There's nothing luxurious about this apartment complex, as another reviewer has mentioned; it's all in the name. Even the sign for Glencroft Apartments is covered in graffiti. This has to be the number one crappiest apartment complex in the area. Even the property manager, Nancy, is consistently rude and abrasive for no apparent reason, even when you approach her courteously and politely. While Nancy initially appeared nice and friendly when we signed the lease, she has proven to be anything but. Once, my smoke detector went off, filling the hallway with smoke. Instead of checking on her tenant's well-being, Nancy pounded on my door—not to ensure safety, but to inform me that if the fire department had to respond to an alarm "for no reason," I would be subjected to a fine. The parking situation here is an absolute nightmare. Residents often disregard designated "no parking" areas, making it nearly impossible to navigate the parking lot. Supposedly, cars parked in these zones "will be" towed, and there's even a tow truck tasked with rectifying these problems. Strangely, I've never once seen it in action. It feels like a situation where they pick and choose when to call the tow truck. Let's not even talk about the parking pass permit you're required to display in your car. It's made of cardstock paper and isn't even laminated. If you misplace it, you'll be slapped with a $100 replacement fee, did I mention its made out of cardstock paper and looks like something you’d just print off at home and cut out with your cricut machine? I'm counting down the days until my lease is over. This place is simply filthy and disgraceful. The so-called "renovated" apartments are essentially quick fixes with cheap materials. The laundry room amenities leave much to be desired; the washers are outdated, and the first-floor machine has been out of order for months with no sign of repair. Even the paging intercom is outdated. Oh, and if you decide to live here, get a P.O. box or have your mail delivered elsewhere because mail theft is a regular occurrence, and there are no security cameras in place.
This place is horrible. Poor management and poor customer service. Filled with roaches and lots of leaks! These apartments are over priced for the living conditions. Not worth the headache at all!
its a quiet place, they have a infestation of BEDBUGS and MICE, NANCY is not professional and not polite, the security camaras do not work, people steal the packages into the building, outside is not lit... tienen chinches y ratones que van de casa a casa, mucha basura afuera, te roban los paquetes, las camaras no funcionan, y afuera no esta iluminado, la manager no es nada profesional en su trabajo, antes de mudarse hablen con los vecinos de los ratones y las chinches, es un edificio viejo y costoso... en cuanto al apart es muy chulo pero con ratones y chinchas no creo se viva bien...
Moving into an lovely apartment at the end of March! Not only am i so happy with the look of the apartment, and the quietness but the otherwise tedious process was made so easy by the property manager Nancy! We looked into other apartments but ended up deciding on here because of the awesome service we received from her. Nancy was so helpful and kind, always willing to help and answer any questions we had!
My family and I just signed our first lease with NANCY and she was AWESOME. She is very helpful, caring and always a phone call away!! I am VERY PROUD TO SAY THIS IS MY FAMILY & I FIRST HOME!
I have enjoyed this quiet community so much that I recently signed on for another year in a bigger apartment. Nancy (property manager) was super helpful in the transition, getting me just the apartment I wanted. The floors were completely redone so I had to thoroughly clean before I moved, but, the beautiful apartment has been totally worth it. Nancy is also great at addressing any issues or concerns with urgency.
Fair location: walking distance to train, wawa, dentist, etc. and 5 minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants. Great management: Nancy is always responsive and extremely helpful. She always answers the phone or calls back within the hour. Free parking: Large parking lot with free parking - and free parking for guests. No running out of parking space issues. Price: Good price for what you get / access to the city.
I was in a rushed situation and Nancy, the building manager, helped me every step of the way. She was always available to talk and went above and beyond to get me into the most beautiful apartment. I honestly couldn't be happier with the turnout.
This is an old building with reasonable ameneties and a good location but the price is way to high for the quality of the building and the age of the facilties.
