North Scottsdale refers to a sprawling region north of Downtown Scottsdale. Paradise Valley, McCormick Ranch, Fort McDowell, Carefree, and Cave Creek are among the many communities included in this expansive region.
While each of these communities has its own distinctive flair, you will generally find a wide variety of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent throughout the area. The region is largely suburban, offering residents a tranquil home environment along with quick access to Tonto National Forest and all that Greater Phoenix has to offer.

Property Ratings at GlenEagles
When we moved to Arizona 20 years ago, we lived in Glen Eagle for three years. Moved away for 10 years and then return back for the past seven years. We love the location the apartment and the people we deal with. Hoping we don’t get priced out of the area.
Wonderful community and management team. Enjoyed living here. Care about the community and individuals
Good location and affordable price. Nice leasing staff. Have a lot of issues regarding condition and maintenance of my new apartment.
If you want to live in North Scottsdale, have excellent access to Scottsdale Rd and the 101, here is the place
I recently moved to Glen Eagles and I'm very happy I chose to make it home! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. My unit is a townhome style with an attached garage, which is a game changer, and faces the golf course on one side and the south pool on the either - not bad views, even if partial. The community is quiet and safe, and provides plenty of walkways and grassy areas for walking my dog. Lots of pet owners here and he's making lots of friends, it's great. It's a great community, and while it's not one of those shiny and new modern communities popping up everywhere, the units are spacious, comfortable, well maintained, sit right on the golf course, and you have a community staff that cannot be beat, from the office to maintenance. Highly recommend!
The staff seems friendly and helpful, there are close-by amenities.
If you're looking for the perfect place to live, look no further! GlenEagles' staff are completely committed to making sure your every need is met. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful... these are just a few words that exemplify the front office and maintenance staff at GlenEagles. Simply put, we love it here!
We spent three years at Glen Eagle when we first came to Phoenix. Moved away for 10 years and returned to Glen Eagle due to the fact they were so phenomenal to work with and the location is fantastic.
We have lived in Glen Eagle for 7 years. It has always been a pleasant experience.
After living at Glen Eagle for 3 years, we returned after a 10-year relocation and have lived here for the last 7 years. We love the location and have a wonderful unit on the golf course. Don't plan on making any change anytime soon. Love the complex and especially the Glen Eagle office and maintenance staff.
GlenEagles is a quiet well maintained community with a friendly and professional staff.
GlenEagles has been a comfortable place to live for several years. We have found the office staff and maintenance staff to be very helpful. We have aways felt safe. The other tenants have been quiet and friendly. The complex is a little older than nearby ones but it we didn't find much issue with that. We would choose it again.
I am going on my 2nd renewal of my primary lease, and I again have been so satisfied with living here. I enjoy the community and the management as well as maintenance. I highly recommend if you decide you don't wish to own then this is wonderful alternative.
Spend your money wisely - NOT here. Old buildings and as many units as possible squeezed into one place. No parking, expensive utilities and terrible customer service. Don’t believe what they say, get it in writing. Amenities are ALWAYS broken and if they are open they are full of weekend renters/partiers. Great if your 18!
Save yourself the headache and DO NOT LEASE here. Management is impossible to reach via email, phone or the resident portal. Management is the worst. Taylor and Catherine are absolutely no help. Maintenance request? Forget about that. Even though it seems they all mostly live on grounds but can’t seem to get to their tenants request. Or they have to outsource a third party to do it. Paying extra for amenities that are always out of order or being serviced. Gates never work so you always have to find ways out of the complex or they have to keep them open even after hours. Absolutely regret not looking around more before signing anything with this complex.
Nice people, good staff and maintenance for the most part is top notch. Lovely community to live at and the grounds look very well done other then problem with the garbage bins at times. I highly recommend this place to others.
Overall, I believe I would highly recommend living at GlenEagles.
Love living here. Office staff, maintenance staff everyone really on it especially Cathy and Theo … GE would be hurting if you lost either one!!!
Living there for the past 3 years has been a great experience, staff at the business office is always attentive, cordial and always caring about the residents. Great community!
Since we moved in all the staff have been super helpful and kind. They go above and beyond when the opportunity presents itself. It’s a lovely, safe community and you can’t beat the amenities. Location, location, location! Minutes from the McDowell Gateway; spectacular hiking trails.Kierland Commons and the swanky Scottsdale Quarter. Ample grocery and pharmacy’s amd general shopping/retail.
I have lived at Glen Eagles for going on my 13th year , it is a wonderful community and very hard to top it obviously !!! lol I mostly have good things to say about everyone here ,... friendly, competent and responsive ... I love living here !!! It is so beautiful , convenient and pleasant !!! My neighbors are so nice as well !!!
The community is beautiful! However, no one answers the phones here. Emails take days to be responded to. I applied for a townhome and was approved. I never even turned in my pay stubs to complete the approval process because I went out of town for work. When I returned I called the day I was suppose to turn in my pay stubs to tell them that I was being transferred for work and could not take the unit and no one answered. I emailed as well, no responses. So the following day Taylor called me and told me I could not get my Admin fee of $250 back because the 24 hour time frame had passed. I was never told that! I also never completed my approval process because I never turned in my pay stubs. Without my pay stubs I would not have been able to sign a lease. Just very bad business. Do not trust giving large amounts of money for applications. This is very bad business because this happens to people all of the time. I am glad I did not move here as well because no one answers the phones and takes days to get email responses. JUST BEWARE!
I’ve moved all around Arizona in my life and this has been by far the biggest redflag I’ve lived in. The amount of roaches around the units are disgusting. Absolutely no parking spots available, I’m not kidding. Enjoy coming home late exhausted from work and having to park either outside the gated area or across the street. Mostly full of young kids who smoke weed all day. A lot of the area smells of either weed or dog poop. And god help you if you don’t live anywhere but on the 3rd floor. The ceilings of the lower units are made of cheap material that makes every movement of the person above you vibrate your entire unit. The gates never really work. And we’ve had a few break ins probably because of that. Management? Where? Good luck ever getting ahold of anybody to talk about a problem you have. The staff here are a joke. And one of the only helpful ladies at the front office just quit her job here. Have fun paying premium Scottsdale prices for the experience of a downtown Phoenix apartment. I am stuck here into 2023. Do yourself a favor and don’t make the same mistake that I did. In desperate times you can still find something better than this.
This apartment community is one of the best. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys apartment living. Great location and beautiful surroundings great leasing staff!
Roaches, roof leaks, constant noise, streets are constantly blocked by moving trucks because of all the people getting out of this community. Dont let the price fool you, maintenance and the front office does not care about this community or its residents at all. Im not one to leave reviews, but this is easily the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
Can't say enough good things about the place-they don't bug you and they protect your privacy. Interactions with office are efficiently handled so you can get back to the quiet enjoyment of life.
Don’t be fooled by the fresh coat of paint. These apartments have a really bad pest problem. Roaches that can be up to 1.5 inches big. Hornets constantly in the apartments. And if you’re on the third floor you run the risk of dealing with rats. The office staff acts shocked when you called them, but when you talk to your neighbors they’ll tell you they’ve been complaining for months maybe even a year
We lived in Glen Eagle for three years when we first moved to Phoenix 18 years ago. We moved in to our children’s condo for 10 years they sold it and we moved back to Glen Eagle and have been here for almost 4 years. We love it here!
Glen Eagles and their maintenance staff are extremely personable, intelligent, and efficient. I was blown away by how quickly our issue was fixed and I was really impressed with the manner in which the maintenance crew walked us through the issue and explained why it was happening / how to keep it from happening in the future. I am proud to live at Glen Eagles.
Roof Rats in my building, toxic mold and busted pipes. Maintenance is horrendous. I had to pay to get out of my lease because I needed to show them the rat damages. They were in my walls and ceilings
I find living at GlenEagles enjoyable, the fellow residents seem to consider the community their home, making it enjoyable for themselves and others, the support staff and management also help to maintain home like atmosphere. For me it doesn’t have that transient, transitional housing feel that most Scottsdale apartments have. It’s a very cozy vibe.
Top of the line community. Parking would be the only negative if any. There no place really for visitors to park.
Huge improvements with upkeep and maintenance of this apartment complex from when I first moved in 1 year ago. All of the maintenance issues I have experienced have been resolved.
Best place hands down, clean and neat. Close to Everything one needs for a happy, easy, life.
Professional, courteous, friendly, helpful and enjoyable to work with. Wonderful well run community and always clean and proud of the grounds and club house.
Living at GlenEagles is wonderful. As a resident I have found all my needs met from the office staff or maintenance crew in a prompt and professional way.
We find life at GlenEagles fits our life style. The apartment is everything we need. The staff is always friendly and work with us on any problem. The location is perfect for us, convenient to everything.
We love living in Glen Eagle. Office staff is phenomenal. Maintenance staff is too. Location is great!!
Office staff and maintenance crew have been great here.
While in a great neighborhood, buildings are old and break down often. This property needs updating and better taken care of. Hire professional contractors that can do their job.
Glen Eagkes employees make this apartment complex a well community!
I live living at Glen Eagles. Our manager Stuart along with Cathy run the office most efficiently. Chris and our maintenance team promptly address any issues needing repair. These teams make living at Glen Eagles a pleasure!
Community has gone downhill over last year and a half. Complete lack of security and monitoring - gates left wide open so ALL people can come and go and use the facilities. Wild West would be a good way to describe Glen Eagles. Difficult to refer to GE as home.
Glen Eagles is a great place to reside. It is located close to golfing and sports complex.
Office staff is horrendous. They only care about their air bnb tenants.
I would not recommend Glen Eagles because there are too many issues with the office. They do not respect their residents. Also, it costs a lot to live in this area when they advertise gated communities and updated amenities when things are always broken. Pictures on website do not show what the community looks like today. Once you sign the lease they have you stuck in something promised but not delivered.
Great place with nice location and attentive service.
I love living here. The amenities are great and the staff are great
Its nice to see people out and about. Small children outside playing and people just having a nice time. That makes living at GlenEagles feel like a small happy neighborhood. Much nicer have management that doesnt run this complex by nay naying everything.
Other than the roach problem, everything is excellent.
