Glengarry Park - Waterford Twp, MI

My son in law loved his time there and was very pleased with the staff and maintenance crew.

I love everything about this apartment complex, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Any maintenance you need done, gets taken care of very quickly. And the whole complex is always quiet and peaceful, during the day and at night.

Management is great I feel very safe in my community and appreciated as a tenet

Maintenance is good. They handle most issues in a timely fashion. Management has changed, along with quite a few other things. Rent goes up yearly...but no apartment updates-ever. Nothing, lol I've been here for almost 7 years, and there has never been an update inside of my apartment... no carpet cleaning, or anything else. There are also no amenities that justify the rent increases. I feel like ANYONE is approved to move in. Now we have the LOUD music, trash being littered throughout the complex, etc. I used to be proud to live here, and now its almost embarassment. The staff has been friendly, I think the issues are management related.

Glengarry is the best!! The management, maintenance, and leasing office make a great team!! The apartments have a really nice floor plan, and are very well maintained, and updated!! The views at Glengarry are just beautiful!! Nice park like setting, with beautiful trees, nature, and pond!! The grounds are very well maintained also, and so is the nice pool!! Everytime I have family, and friends over, they have nothing but nice things to say about Glengarry!! Myself, and my daughter love calling Glengarry our home, and want to enjoy many years calling Glengarry our home!! Great place to live for sure!!

It is a great place to live. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they do a good job on hosting events and bringing the community together. The staff is easy to talk to and assist well when needing help or having any concern.

You get what you pay for; cheapest apartments in the area. Good place to live for a year maybe two max, but not long term. It’s just downright okay.

I have never felt at home here and the staff has never helped to make it feel that way. it seems like every time i’ve had an issue, I was invalidated and not given help. I can’t wait to leave.

I've lived here 9 years, and am quite satisfied. As with any situation there are a couple of negatives, but there are far more positives. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

The leasing staff was very kind and helpful with my move. First time being in my own and they made me feel very welcome.

I have been a resident of this complex for 8 years now. I have been so happy with the upkeep of the property (new windows and door-walls, painting, new concrete on sidewalks, roofs redone, new laundry equipment) just an all out great job. The 2 work orders I have put in over 8 years were handled quickly and done well. The general staff from office staff to maintenance are truly awesome and willing to take time to help you with your needs.

My Apartment is very comfortable, and I enjoy spending time there. Moving is never fun, but Management made my move in experience simple and worry free. The Complex is clean and well maintained. Nice place to live.

Horrible place to live in they could care less if you have quiet time or not staff people are fake maintenance spy on you cars get broken into drug deals happen late at night Marsha threatens you with a eviction notice or doesn’t wanna renew your lease because your complaining abut something that shouldn’t be happening she rather believe the people that are doing the stuff don’t waste your money on this place you will regret it washer and dryer barley work neighbors are rude dishwasher doesn’t even work no matter how many soaps u use and how much u rinse your dishes

Glengarry Park Apartments require good credit, no recent bankruptcy, or eviction and a criminal background check. So, you can be assured Glengarry Park is looking for the, " Cream of the Crop". I currently live in Glengarry and have since August of 2014. To give you an idea of my demographic: I am a 20 something educated male from the pontiac/waterford area with a college degree and steady job. I live in a 2 bedroom unit by myself and this is my first time living alone (without family and/or roomates). I do not use any illegal drugs, don't smoke, rarely drink and have only thrown 1 party since moving into the apartments. My experience from the beginning has been mostly good. The staff in the leasing office are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. At the end of July/Beginning of august last year I was scrambling to find a place to live because my family had all begun going our separate ways. After being turned down by 2 places for credit reasons and one for a sudden lack of vacancy, the staff at glengarry were lifesavers. When I needed appointments to see a unit during my lunch break at work, they had no problem accommodating me, when I needed an out of state co-signer they didn't even bat an eye, and they even helped with the process of turning on all of my utilities. The apartment itself is very spacious, 940 square feet I believe with a HUGE master bedroom and walk in closet. The second bedroom is much smaller and would be perfect for a young child, I use it as an office/trophy room. There is also a large storage room in the unit so there's no need for additional storage. The dining room and living room area are open and connected, the livingroom however is a little smaller than I'd like. it's a struggle fitting a couch, loveseat and entertainment center without eliminating the open feeling of the room. The Kitchen is also a tad small but for a person living alone it's not really a problem. The lesser floor space makes for easy cleaning so that's a plus. I would have preferred a gas range and stove but beggers cant be choosers, all the appliances work great. Air and heat are central with a programmable thermostat. Whenever I've had a maintenance issue, depending on the time of day I make the call, they've had someone there same day and at the latest within 24 hours. When my furnace was blowing cold air at the start of the winter and they had to wait a few days to get a part delivered, they gave me TWO ceramic space heaters to use until they could fix the problem. I live in the front area of the complex so I'm not sure about the back but my neighbors are friendly, not loud at obnoxious times, and aside from the occasional cigarette butt

GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. THE OFFICE TAKES GREAT CARE OF GROUNDS, TENNETS AND REPAIRS, THEY HAVE A NICE POOL VERY LARGE PARK THAT HAS A FOUNTAIN, POND AND GRILLING .VERY GOOD LOCATIONH FOR SHOPPING. GOOD SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS AND A SENIOR CENTER. IAM VERY HAPPY.
