Property Ratings at Glenmore Place Apartments
Stay away, the lady at the office is something else . She don’t care about anything and she just put everything to the owner, when you ask to communicate with the owner she is telling you that she is now allowed to give you his phone number. Full of mice and roaches. I took them to the court to take back my deposit. I left my place in a really good condition but 6 months after they were not answering the phone and playing with me not to give me back my deposit. Very bad place and really bad people. Stay away
I moved in less than a month ago and have had so many issues already. The the day I moved in I was told my window was broken and needed to be replaced. They took it out and put some type of poster in place. It took over two weeks and me constantly hounding them for it to be replaced. I was told my bathroom floors were redone before I moved in which was a lie. The microwave was disgusting and had to hound them to replace it. And the best part is that after two weeks here i seen roaches in my kitchen. An exterminator came, sprayed some stuff and said I shouldn’t see them again. Days later I seen more. I hate that I chose this place. I’ve only been here less than a month and all this has happened. I can’t wait for my year lease to be over because I won’t renew. If I could leave now I would.
I have lived in Glenmore place Apt for more than 3 years now and I can tell you I feel like home. The property management is very friendly, supportive and attentive to tenants' concerns and needs.
This place looks good but it is definitely filthy !!!! Mice & roach infested. The management do no care , they are very unprofessional! The hallways are filthy & all kind of bugs in light fixtures.. don’t move here !! No parking ever due to visitors !!! This is just a disgusting miserable place to live
They never respond to emergencies on time. You move out they refuse to tell you anything about your security deposit. The fire alarms are not working well they go off at odd hours for no reason. You call the emergency maintenance line no response or they tell you to call 911. They never answer their phones. The property manger office is very dirty. Most of the washers don’t work. It’s deplorable don’t move in. The laundry room next to the property manger office is filthy the bathroom stinks.
This place is horrible and the Property managers are beyond nasty to there tenants. The complex has water issues every other month. Maintenance is never available to take care of emergent issues or any other maintenance issues at all. When you call to get answers about why the work is not done, they give you the run around. Very displeased with this place and I am so glad I moved.
This property is infested with mice and when you tell management, they don’t do nothing about it. They tell you it’s non-smoking apartment but tenants smoke all in the halls and apartments. There’s no parking space as the lot is taken over by outsiders cars and they tow your car if parked around the dumpster. Maintenance is horrible and never completes a job no matter how many times you call or email them. Can’t wait to move out as my AC has been leaking and the mold is all over the place. Maintenance came over 2 months ago and still nothing has been done
Ever since this new management co. took over, the place has steadily gone downhill. My #1 complaint is the mice problem--we trap at least one mouse a week. Trash bins in the back of the complex are not sufficient for the amount of trash the complex has and there is always trash on the ground. I even saw a rat back there one time. The floodlights on the roof are always out and this causes a safety hazard. Landscaping is shoddy, washers and dryers are not reliable, lighting fixtures are not cleaned and management does not always get back to you when you call. Their slogan, Where luxury and affordability meet is a lie.
I recently moved into Glenmore Place from the city. I picked Glenmore because of its location and access to public transportation. I work in the city but didn't want to live there anymore. I have a two-bedroom apartment, the living room is huge as are the bedrooms. It's quiet and my apartment is very comfortable. Terri in the Office made my move so stress-free I couldn't thank her enough. Management is very attentive and maintenance is always available to help with the smallest request. I'm thrilled to be living here and I hope to stay for many years.
I'm close to the trolley to get me into the City fast. I love my apartment. I've been here over a year and I've had no issues. Management is on top of maintenance and Terri the Property Manager is sweet. I'll be here for years to come.
Totally disgusting experience there's rats and they don't tell you that they clearly have a problem.the heat is included but they control the thermostat and most tenants use portable heaters or use their oven. You can hear the people above you because all top floor apts don't necessarily have carpet. The tenants look dirty and the laundry rooms rarely work better to go around the corner. When you leave take a picture because they will try to keep your security deposit .it's not worth it.
Property Manager at Glenmore Place Apartments, Responded To This Review
We do not have a pest problem. Management provides monthly pest control services to every tenant whether they are having an issue or not. Heat is included in the rent, 68 to 72 degrees and tenants can control the temperature. All of our apartments have wall to wall carpets. Our floors & ceiling are concrete to buffer any sounds from neighboring apartments. Our laundry machines are new and are coin operated and the laundry rooms are cleaned twice a week. All security deposits are released in accordance with PA State law and we very rarely have to withhold money because of the awesome tenants that we have.
POSITIVES: The apartment is very spacious. It has large closets in the living and bed rooms. The heat and water are included in the rent. It is close to public transportation. It is quiet(at least my section). There are few shopping centers nearby and the heat is working THIS YEAR. Aside from maintenance issue and the things that were suppose to be fixed that haven't been fixed yet, I have never had any issue with anyone. The borough police and fire stations are few blocks away. NEGATIVES: Never agree to move in until the renovations and repairs are satisfactory. Trust me, they will never do any other work once you move in. I don't have any kids, and barely be home but my carpet is kind of a mess and was never changed after I moved in along with others things. The management is very lazy and not responsive. I think the ownership is just very cheap and using one person to be the manager for multiple complexes; calls are barely return. When you put in for a maintenance request, it is often ignored or it takes ever and ever to be fulfilled if that ever happens. I barely cook and keep trash in my apartment, but there are lot of rodents during some part of the year. I believe the mice and roaches come through the vents from other apartments even when you take care of your apartment. The parking lot is being taken over by disabled vehicles and motorbikes. For the passed few years I been here, cleaning the snow has been non-existence. There was a heavy snow last year, the parking lot was not clean until almost after 2 days. Some people did not move their cars after 3 days. They can't even salt the walkway that leads to the buildings; to be fair, I saw a salt in front of the building door this year. There are lot of blown off lights in front of the buildings and hallway that have never been replaced since I been living here. There is a $60 inspection fees that is now increased to $100( to $120). Please note, there is noting done during the inspection. I was sitting in my apartment during one of the inspections, and there was nothing really done aside from going into each opening looking for whatever. There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen that is never check and most likely of no use. Never put your good clothes in the machine. The machines don't watch the clothes good.
I recently moved to the area due to a job transfer. I needed quick accesd to public transportation and choose Glenmore because of the convenience. The Property Manager handled everything and made my relocation a breeze. The management and maintenance staff are super professional and very accomadating. I love my new home. The apartment has a huge living room that I was able to section off a home work office. Love it here and my neighbors are great.
I've seen this apartment complex list open vacancies and wanted to see an apartment. I called and made an appointment with Terri, the day of my appointment she didn't show, I talked to the emergency contact lady and she told me she would contact Terri and call me back, but never did and hung up on me when I called again. After vowing not deal with these people, I saw a posting again and against my better judgement I called Terri to see and apartment. We made an appointment and guess what "No Show" again, no call for a reschedule nothing. I don't know who the owner of this complex is but he/she needs to do something about the management staff, because if this is any indication of how it would be to live here, I just dodged a bullet.
DONT DO IT! This is my first apartment and the Landlord Terri promised to have new rugs in by the time i moved in. Not only did I put the security deposit down 2 months prior, the day before I moved in (day of lease signing) I did a walk through alone and found that the rugs were not replaced, nor kicked out, dirty as ever, dead bugs in the cabinets, broken glass all over the hallway rug and bathroom, light fixture broken, etc I can go on for days!!!! Not only were me and my roommate furious, but due to our things being packed, UHaul reserved, and no other place to go, Ms. Terri here promised to have this place clean as a whistle by the next morning. We wrote down everything that needed fixing on the lease before signing it. The next morning...nothing was done. Cleaning crew everytually came and did the most terrible job, rugs were kicked out but still look horrid!!! 7 days after moving in me and my roommate came home from work and noticed a safe was missing. Turns out the windows were never replaced and the locks are broken. Handprints all over the walls! 7 days of being here and our apartment was robbed. It has now been 4 days since the break in and I have left Terri multiple messages and she has not replied. I will be looking into this lease more and go above her head to the people who invest in this place! I will post this on every apartment website so people know to KEEP LOOKING!!!

Primavera Communities takes great pride in making sure that our apartments are move-in ready for our incoming residents. Your issue was due to unforeseen emergencies at the complex the days leading up to your move-in. We did try our best to accommodate and did fully replace your carpets with new upgraded color & padding. You did rent your apartment unseen, it was your first apartment and imagine that you were just unhappy in general. Your room-mate is still living at the complex and is happy to be on her own. We're hoping your next experience is a good one. You're welcome back to Glenmore Place anytime.
