Property Ratings at Glenmuir
I appreciate coming home to a quiet place, walking my dog, relaxing at the gazebo by the pond and enjoying watching the geese fight. Just wish we had an adult swim hour.

Thank you for the feedback and review. We really appreciate it!
Glenmiur has been an incredible place to live, and I cannot recommend it enough. I have lived here for 2 years and am in the process of resigning for a third. The location is optimal, just seconds away from Sawmill and 270. With this being said, you do hear traffic from 270, however, you also hear the beautiful fountain in large pond. The grounds are kept beautiful and well maintained, you can tell they take pride in maintaining and improving our community, and they truly go above and beyond for residents to be proud to live here as well! The maintenance team is attentive and addresses all concerns well within 24 hours and keeps you updated. The management team, Jessica and Maci, are attentive and compassionate. Everyone is also very dog friendly, almost to the point where I wish we had our own dog park to socialize. Overall, I love Glenmuir and highly recommend it!

Thank you so very much for this review. We are so glad you are enjoying your home at Glenmuir!
I was so excited to come live here after seeing the model. Thank God i seen the actual apartment before signing contract because it was suchhh a disappointment!!!!! I had very high expectations for casto apartments, being that I visited so many of their complexes and seen what they had to offer. But the actual apartment had all webs and dirty right in the entrance. Then the balcony need to get repainted so bad and the kitchen amenities were sooooo old! I tried talking to them to see if they could fix these things but they said no. Do I did not take it and went somewhere else.

Good afternoon-I have reached out to the property with your concerns. Would you like the Regional Manager to call and discuss these items with you?
My wife and I lived at Glenmuir for the past year and a half and we loved every aspect of it. The staff and maintenance went above any beyond to make sure that our needs were always met. This is in a great location and great for young couples. We give Glenmuir a 10 out of 10!
I get a note on my door stating for two days from 9-6 they will be randomly selecting apartments to “inspect” I called them and explained I work nights and that I cannot have strangers in my home (which is overpriced mind you) while I’m sleeping. The manager doesn’t care and I basically had to sleep at my parents so my sleep wasn’t interrupted by strangers going through my stuff. Don’t live here, or any other Casto place.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience at Glenmuir. Our loan requires inspections and I know that can be an inconvenience to our residents. Feel free to reach out to the Regional Manager-John Carter-if you have further questions or concerns. Thanks.
I made a choice to move into Glenmuir only because Castro has a program where if you stay for 1-2 years, it go towards your closing cost on a home. At the beginning I was very happy and comfortable living here even if it went past 2 years. The neighbors were even somewhat nice neighbors. UNTIL I started to realize how the complex was not kid friendly. If you have kids who enjoy outside time/play or overall active outdoors, I would not recommend. The complex does not have a playground alone so the kids has to have someplace to utilize their energy versus being contained inside all day. Even inside you have to keep them somewhat quiet because walls are thin. I understand it's an APARTMENT complex, but I have experienced multiple complex where kids playing outside was never an issue whatsoever as long as you respect your neighbors after a certain time. So overall, residing here is "okay" but just be mindful of your kids activeness. It may be something you would consider when deciding before you spend rent of something you THOUGHT would not be an issue. Their more dog friendly than kid friendly. In addition, a little repairing is needed. I woke up one day with my kids bathroom being infested with big black ants. I had to purchase traps to eliminate this issue. Maintenance and front office is pretty cool. In general, I would not recommend if kids playing outside or running inside playing is a must for you.
I have a townhouse i rent, i love it my son and i live here, after going through a bad divorce,i had to get me and my son out of a abusive marriage, its tuff struggling to make ends meet, i clean houses to take care of him,my x gets behind paying me alot,so almost each month i get behind on my rent, i love living here i am on a end townhouse, looking at a few trees,it reminds me of where i used to live when we had a house in the woods, when i was married, the highway is on the other side of muy place but i love it here also because the staff is very nice and i feel safe here.
Lived in multiple places before and in no way does this place hold a candle to any of them. Staff was tolerable, but maintenance was shoddy and response time to any requests often went unresolved until follow up. The rent continued to move without regards to overall inflation or additional/improved amenities. In reference to improved amenities or lack there of, the snow removal went from alright to terrible in the few years living there; the "snow plow" used could better be described as Zamboni than an actual plow. It takes a few days for the snow to be removed, and once it was, the streets were essentially ice. Consider any of the multitude of new and existing apartments/leasing companies besides Glenmuir and Casto.
We have visiting apartment communities in an effort to move to Columbus this coming spring. So far, the office staff, grounds, location makes this our No. 1 Pick.
