Beloved for its proximity to both the Jersey Shore and New York City, the central region of Middlesex County sits about 40 miles southwest of Midtown Manhattan. Nearby New Brunswick, home to Rutgers University, provides access to a rich, local arts and culture hub. This neighborhood is ideal for those seeking a quiet, suburban setting not far removed from nearby entertainment and amenities. Mid- and low-rise apartment communities in the northern section of the neighborhood give way to more single-family homes fit for a variety of renters. Interstate 95 and a host of other thoroughfares make commuting around the area a breeze.

Property Ratings at Glenwood Apartments
They take weeks to fix small issues!!!! Have a mold issue that took them over. month to address with a small child in the apartment. Paint peeling in the bathroom instead peeling off all the old paint they just painted over it. Door falling apart in the bathroom and was told that they are not allowed to replace it. My toddler already got hurt on it. If you want to do repairs yourself this is the place for you!! DON’T MOVE HERE!!!

Glenwood is a really nice complex in beautiful Old Bridge Township. The leasing office is well run. Claire Is fabulous and is incredibly helpful during the rental process. The office helps to make the transition as smooth as possible. Large apartments and great amenities in a park-like neighborhood.
The description of this community on their website made me literally laugh out loud after having lived here In the recent past. Where on there website does it state these are non smoking apartments? Oh that's right, it does not. If you are a smoker, which is your God-given right, they don't tell you that you can't, it may be in the fine print of your lease but wouldn't you prefer to know that prior to moving in? You can not smoke inside which is not a problem for me, but you can not smoke on you outdoor front steps or even your on your OUTDOOR BALCONY without getting threats of eviction. The materials they use are the cheapest that money can buy and forget it if you have back issues. The refrigerators are so small you have to bend town to even see into the it. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. Forget this place. Did not take long before I said Goodbye.
Don’t expect your apartment to look like they show on the pics. They don’t show you the apartment until the actual moving in day and only after signing a lease. They give you a piece of paper with maintanence requests. I have so many requests it barely fot on one page. It’s more then a month, they still didn’t make much effort to get it done. Do you think the bathroom looks like on the pic #12? Not at all. It is all srcratched and dirty on the edges, looks like shelter, not rented apartment. The sound of shower is soooo annoying and loud, i have a headacke after I’m taking a shower. I am very upset with maintanence. I wanted to give at lease 4 stars for this apartment but unfortunately I am at this point where I’ d like to cancel my lease and move out.

I been having a RODENT problems for a couple WEEKS now... nobody seems to care, we tried calling the main office, the maintenance, everyone we could ....I HAVE TO COME HOME TO FECES EVERYDAY!! Feces on my sink, in my dishes, in the oven, in the dishwasher, ALL OVER THE KITCHEN.... they said they fixed the problem and they never did !!!! They just don't care ... beware, live here at your own risk ... I will never sign another lease here ... and the walls are super thin I can hear my neighbor roll over in bed at night smh as well as OTHER things ...
I really enjoyed living here for 8 years, and only moved out because I purchased a house. Leasing office is professional and always courteous and helpful on my renewals. The 2 times I called maintenance the entire time I was there, calls were answered right away, and maintenance fixed the problems the same day. Snow removal was the best I had seen out of any apartment I ever lived at. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartments which was spacious with plenty of closet space including a walk in closet in the living room, and a walk in closet in the bedroom. I especially loved the balcony. Being in an end unit, it was the entire length of my apartment. I was able to fit a pretty good size table and chairs which was great to bring my laptop out and enjoy a cup of coffee. It overlooked the courtyard which was always maintained nicely. I rate this 5 stars because I completely enjoyed the overall experience. If I ever needed to move into an apartment again, I wouldn't think twice to move back in.
