Not very secure. Parking spaces are small. Lots of pests in the summer. Ask for move in inspection they do not provide one when you sign the lease and make sure to fill it out.

Tons of ants, spiders and mosquitoes everywhere, ants especially in the summer the water in the shower never gets hot to steam that little bathroom Dog poop everywhere, a dog attacked kid, nothing was done The front desk won't hold pkgs, the guards will do nothing if someone's car alarm going off 3a or if there's domestic violence they won't even call the police THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AVAILABLE for guests, everyone double parks and if u do find a space in the building they have to leave at midnight No matter what time in the morning afternoon or night people play VERY LOUD music from their cars and won't be asked to turn it down The rent set doesn't include the shared water/ trash bill added monthly and they will raise that rent as much as they legally can no matter what pandemic or natural disaster has occurred

I moved in in June 2018 and have been having a problem ever since. It’s october and there’s a terrible problem with ants. No matter how often clean, ants are EVERYWHERE. “Pest control” has come and seems like they don’t do sh*t because there’s still ants. Terrible slipped on paint job, cracks everywhere, and you have to continue to call and email for something to be done. There’s all types of bugs and insects here it’s ridiculous! No central air and they have an ancient heater. Makes sense now why they trap you in a year 1/2 lease! I can’t wait to leave here. Mgmt only responds quickly to you when are moving in because they want the money. Only thing that’s good is it’s quiet and people mind their business...a lot of older people so no rift raft. Other than that this place is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend living here at ALL! Unless you are desperate like i was for a place smh.

Gloria Homes Apartments managed by Jones & Jones is known for towing cars. My car was towed this morning 12/21/16 for expired registration from my parking space. I called the leasing office (they were rude, of course) they said they had given me several warnings. I asked them to send copies of those warnings, because I had not received any on my car, email, or phone. The warnings listed a grey Toyota Corolla. I have a grey Toyota Corolla. However, the dates and times on the aforementioned tickets were assigned to me while me and my car was at work. License plate number on the tickets are different from my own. And to top it all off my registration is NOT expired. Yet and still I had to pay alot of money to get my car from Southside tow and recovery, who apparently tows cars for no reason at all.

The place is quite renovated and may seem nice and flashy. But please go there once during the night time before you move in. I'm living there now and the leasing agent wouldn't let me terminate my lease while I'm on my 8th day living there.

Gloria apartments are great. They have 24 hours security and a great neighbors. They provide great maintenance assistance as well as amenities such car ports laundry rooms and safety surveillance. It can improve tremendously still. For instance small designated play yards for children, bigger laundry rooms, better parking monitoring, bigger car ports. But this only means that they will charge us more for rent. So kind of makes you wish that they leave everything alone.

What I love most about gloria homes is how peaceful it is. I have lived here for almost three years and I can't say that I've ever had a problem with it being too noisy or people hanging out.At first I was like did i.move into some type of cult or some because I never saw other people I would see all these cars parked here but never saw the people that they belonged to so after awhile I just realized that's just how it is here and I love it.

Nice area to live in, safe, shopping centers close by.

I really enjoy arriving home every day. The grounds are well kept and you see a heavy presence of patrol officers, making one feel safe when leaving and arriving at all times of the morning, evening and night.

I would just like to say that I stay in Gloria Homes Apartments and it has been such a nice experience, assigned parking, newly remodeled, brand new carpet, brand new cabinets, stainless steel sink, all appliances included and they are all BRAND NEW, I pay my rent online and save $50 a month just for doing that, not to mention this is a working class environment and a feel safe, apartment is spacious with lots of closet space as well, quite simply this is home!!!!!!! Wait one more thing I love that they only consider one applicant at a time

The overall apartment is in good shape. Little problems like cracks in the corners, not well-done paint jobs, and creaking sounds from the floor hint for a quick fix up. In addition, the cable for my television is in a closet. Makes absolutely no sense.

I Love the actual apartment in itself, its spacious, and the surrounding areas are gated ... HOWEVER, my apartment came with no stove, no air, and the staff cares nothing about you. I get nothing fixed around here, and they never fix any problems I am having with my neighbors.

The day I moved in the friendly staff and neighbors welcomed me. The diversity is incredible as everyone meet and greet as communities should. The gated community and security staff allow me to walk around for an evening stroll and enjoy small chats with fellow joggers and walkers. Public transit and shopping areas are all quite convenient. The apartment and grounds are all well kept. Gloria Apartment Homes are just that - a home within a community.

it has been great living here since I have moved to LA. Security is tight and havent had any major issues or problems. Have recommended a few people to look into it. Wish they would allow dogs and company to stay past midnight. withtout getting a ticket.

The area of the apartment is very nice, full security staff with security post. The apartment complex is well lit in certain areas, some areas need some attention. There are plenty of washers and dryers on site.

I live in a nice gated community, the property is well maintained and the staff is friendly and nice. There are always things that need to be improved, like for residents that have lived there for a while, i believe the management team needs to help out with up grades in the apartment, but all and all it is a nice place to stay.

I have been living here over 2 years every apartment has its good and bad but i really enjoy and feel proud to live in my community apts they r gated security all the time and my neighbors r friendly and kind and we look out for one another the company that owns Gloria homes want it to feel like home not apartments so she I tell someone I live here I feel proud

Hi folks, I've been living here at the Gloria Homes Apartments for about 3 years now and its been great. It really is very beautiful here with all types of trees, flowers and people that are awesome. Its like living in an oasis right in the heart of the city. The location is prefect for me to get to work in Playa Vista and for my wife to commute to Downtown LA in under 20 mins. my apartment is gorgeous and spacious with very nice windows. If your looking for a safe place to live you must check out the Gloria Homes Apartments you won't find anything better.

My experience at my apartment has been great. Any maintenance that I need, gets taken care of right away. The crew keeps the apartment complex nice and clean. My neighbors are great. Overall I enjoy where my kids and I sleep at night.

Aside from the rent being raised this is a great community. They are on time when it comes to maintenace.

My apartment is spacious and well designed, although it could use a few updates to bring it into the new millennium. The wiring (outlets) and the phone jack do not compliment today's techi lifestyle. With ceiling fans, a doorbell, (it is an apartment home), new kitchen cabinets and sink, I could completely ignore that there is no stopper in the bathtub (cosmetic). This apartment is set in the most beautiful landscape which makes you feel happy just to look at it and the flowers; sometimes the smell is hypnotic, but then you see that the hallway is not well kept and the euphoria disappears. Parking and security are issues, BUT the view from the back entrance to my apartment is amazing. It is centrally located, near all public transportation, freeways and shopping for all your needs. A major mall is less than a mile away. My neighbors are pleasant, but almost invisible so I get the peace and quiet I crave. I am looking forward to a long and happy stay.

It really doesn't take 50 words for me to review my apartment but, to begin, I've lived at this address for 5 years. I find the location convenient for shopping, transportation, parks, schools and entertainment. I enjoy the apartment landscape and the security provided that gives an extra peace of mind. The washing machines are usually well maintained. The outdoor light of the units are sufficient. I enjoy the coziness of being at home without a lot of outside ruckus.

Gloria Homes offers home like apartments, creating the look and feel of a home with out the cost of owning a home. The modern day style apartment make me feel welcomed and top of the line security makes me feel safe! As a single woman returning home from work, I want to feel like I am HOME not in your average apartment. With all the space I have, I feel just that!

First and foremost, I enjoy the fact that I live in a gated community with a private street. That is an unheard of luxury for renters! The security is equal to none, once I left my back door cracked and the security officer knocked and checked to make sure I had left it open. That really made me feel secure!! The complex is constantly patrolled and everyone wants to live here! The grounds are maintained on a daily basis, tenants have access to clean well operating laundry rooms throughout the complex, I can't say enough about where I live. If I run into a problem or need service repairs, they are on it. I have had a complaint every now and then, but it is dealt with immediately, and dealt with until it is resolved. And for that I am very thankful. I never have issues with maintenance, Jones and Jones is on the job! My apartment is large and roomy, I have three excellent neighbors in the building and four good neighbors next door. Two huge supermarkets are within walking distance , two banks, a mini mall, drug store, places to eat, I live in the best apartment complex in town! Why buy a dwelling when I got security, access to shopping, public transportation right at the gate entrance and a great neighborhood. I am so lucky, love it here!!!

I've lived in my place for almost four years and it has been a good experience. I feel safe within the cozy and quaint, gated apartment community, and I thoroughly appreciate the management company's efforts to increase the safety and security of its renters. I also enjoy how the grounds are so well maintained. My apartment is quite spacious as many of my guests have been surprised to see over the years. The location of my apartment in the community is very quiet for the most part, and with only an occasional noisy neighbor and the regular noise level that one would expect to hear from the street. All in all still not enough to deter my views about living here. I would recommend this place for someone wanting to save money and/or on a budget. This apartment community is great for now!

I loved the greeting "welcome home" from the staff upon renting my apartment 2 years ago. In a lot of ways it has felt like home. My apartment is roomy with plenty of storage space. I love the hardwood flooring for easy cleanup and it gives the apartment a modern look. Any maintenance that needs to be done is completed quickly and the grounds are always well manicured. They have made upgrades to the laundry facilities but i wish that included new washers and dryers. The old ones often break down which is a hassle. The complex itself is mostly quiet but the near by fire department is a nuisance. I guess it's comforting to know that help is close by. The neighbors are very friendly usually socializing with each other and sharing kind words which is what I love most about living here. The area is also rich with cultural diversity which you can see from the local businesses and daily activities going on in the streets. The complex is centrally located to downtown, marina del rey, and lemert park giving you a wide variety of experieces. I can honestly say that Gloria Homes has been good living for me these past two years.

i love the way this apartment is set up. Whether it be the security outside of the complex, the building and landscaping outside or the inside of my place, its perfect to me. The maintenance and office staff are great and help with anything i need. The apartment complex is all together a desirable place to live, even though the area might not be the greatest, it is worth it because i know i am safe here at my apartment and well taken care of.

I've lived in this apartment for over 17 years. When I moved in back in 1998, I never thought I would have stayed here for so long, but well, here I am. The reason why I gave this apartment a three star rating out of five is because it is aging, with creaking floors among other things; has become too small given all the personal effects I have accumulated over the years; I've grown weary of seeing it, wishing for something new; and also due to a minor bug problem, cockroaches, that is. No infestation, but a single one, dead or alive, appears every so often. That being said, over the years, the property management people have made substantial efforts to improve not only my apartment, but the entire complex. Between 1998, the year I moved in and 2009, the improvements and remodeling work were rather minor and sporadic, but beginning from around 2008 and 2009, projects became more extensive and more frequent. In addition to that, security was also improved with the construction of a new main entry gate, complementary security patrol, and the addition of so many night lights that the property is far more brightly lit at night than before. Though I have a few reservations concerning my apartment and the housing complex it belongs to, all in all, I've not had too many problems in all the years I have lived here, can't recall ever having noisy or obnoxious neighbors. Though I'm ready to move out hopefully sooner than later, I can say it's not been a bad place to live, and I mean both the apartment and the property.

I appreciate how easy it is to pay online and if something is needed to be fixed they're very fast to respond. I do wish the parking was a little better

My apartment is located in Los Angeles, CA in a secured west area. It's a quiet place and nearer to the intersection of the major roads like La Brea, Rodeo, King, Jr. and Coliseum. I love Gloria Apartments. It's a place designed for the glory of my heart. I'll recommend it to anyone as a safe, quiet and clean place to live in. Best, Elsa.

I've been living in the Gloria Homes close to 2 years now. It's very quiet within the complex. All then tenants work so pretty much , I know they don't just approve anyone to stay here. The staff cares about who they select. Security patrols a few times a day to see if anyone is parked illegallyto keep it clear for emergency vehicles to have access. the landscaping is done weekly which I like and are stairways are kept clean by the maintenance team.I've only had to call maintenance once and they responded quickly to my work order. The staff in the office is very friendly and the leasing office is kept clean and neat. So far, I have really enjoyed my stay here at the Gloria Homes.

It's decent I wish it had central air. The location is excellent

I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR OVER 20 YRS. NICE PLACE TO RAISE MY DAUGHTERS. YOU DON'T FINE MANY APARTMENTS WITH A PORCH AND BACK YARD. I LIVE ON IN SIDE STREET NEVER HAD TO WORRY WHEN THEY WERE OUT SIDE PLAYING, MOST OF MY NEIGHBORS HAD CHILDREN'S AND WE ALL LOOKED OUT FOR EACH OTHER. MY DAUGHTERS ARE GROWN WITH GROWN CHILDREN'S OF THEIR OWN. IT'S CLOSE TO STORES AND BANK AS WELL AS THE METRO.

Very quiet gated neighborhood community. Many choices of parks around for kids & adults. Everything is around restaurants, malls, stores, etc. The best apt. in the city.

I'm very satisfied with our current apartment. Very clean surroundings, well kept building structure, quite neighbors and management response quikly to any promblems in regards to the apt.

Great having a assigned parking spot. Association is decent with handling requests. Thin walls and floors, always able to hear neighbors.

Nice, clean and big apartment for the rental amount they charge, specially with move-in special the price goes down further. I would rate it as 'awesome' for the price but there was a break-in few months ago, so there are some issues with security.

I have lived in my apartment for 15 1/2 years which is the longest time I have lived anywhere. One of the reasons I have lived in my apartment for this length of time is because it is located in a gated community with 24 hour security and has limited access to outsiders. The owners of my apartment have made special effects to keep the community looking beautiful to the eye with lawns, trees and gardens everywhere and I just love it. Further, my apartment is located walking distance to several grocery stores and to the Baldwin Hills Mall. Being that Los Angeles has bumper to bumper traffic almost anywhere your travel, I find living walking distance to the Metro has allowed me to alternate between driving and taking the train to most places I need to go. Furthermore, I love the convenience of having long term maintenance staff available, whom I have come to trust to enter my apartment even if I am not home, and having 24 hour security staff to protect the community is paramount. I gave my apartment a four because the owners do not offer longstanding tenants improvements to their apartments like painting, changing the carpet or blinds after so many years. However, my apartment has large rooms, windows all around (great lighting) and spacious closets which has helped my apartment to maintain its beauty and luster. Overall, I love my apartment because it meets what I consider the most important needs of apartment living.

Gloria is a nice place to stay. Nice little community inside a not so privileged aerea. We have security guard kiosk and driving private patrol. There were incidents inside the conmunity but I heard it happened in units with an open window. Everything I had complained about was taken care as fast as possible. Parking is hard If you have two vehicles because there is only one assigned parking reserved for each unit. I hope I helped. I was as honest as possible.

I love my apartment! I like that the company keeps it updated and is constantly adding things like, more walkway lights to keep the value of the property up. It's a great central location to the city. I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and central location for the city of LA!

This is an amazing neighbor hood for starting family's and college students. Wonderful neighbors and great people to talk to as you begin your step into your own life (if just graduating of course).

Ideally located near freeways and train station for quick access major city points. Plenty of shopping option in the area to meet the entire house holds needs. Gated community with security making it safe.
