Golden Pond

I just moved in and the experience has been great so far! Property is nice, and I love all the businesses in the area I can just walk to instead of drive.

I love it here. So friendly and safe. I have never experienced faster and easy reachable staff like Golden Pond. I would recommend the new build!

this is the nicest place i have ever had the joy of calling my home, both in looks and by the way the staff treats it's renters. it's truly amazing to be able to not worry about my home being messed with and to feel safe.

So far me and my roommate haven’t had any problems and the community is super friendly! We’ve been here for 3 years now. One thing I don’t really like is people doing donuts at 2 in the morning at the corner but not sure if they even live here or not.

Wonder place to live. The office people are very kind. The maintenance always come and do what is needed. No complaints. Renewed our lease again going on are 2nd year.

I like the area. Staff is friendly and neighbors are typically pretty good. It can get a little loud with younger people living around and having parties on the weekend, but that is expected in apartment living.

Overall satisfied with our management. However some neighbors are very noisy. Management has been great working with us when we sometimes are late in rent. I appreciate their help.

Management team has been great! Quickly reactive to any maintenance needs and responsive to feedback/problems. They do their best to work with residents regarding scheduling.

Great area, nice people. multiple pools and basketball courts which is super great. Noise is down around 5pm and overall a nice place to live.

Great place to live! Friendly office staff and responsive maintenance staff. The grounds are well maintained and the crew quickly had the parking lots and sidewalks cleared after the recent snow.

I’ve lived here for four years and rarely had any problems. I think sometimes people aren’t the nicest, but other than that, I like living here.

Good place to live, a little pricey, but internet is included in rent and there are decent amenities. Walls aren't paper thin either so you don't have to be super quiet or deal with others being loud.

We had to put a dog, a emotional service/support dog mind you, down for no reason because an upstairs neighbor putting her nose where it didn't belong but she could stomp at all hours of the day and night and it was fine. Then a family who i still think had more than was on the lease or room allotment stomping, moving furniture at all times through the night wake me, my wife, and my toddler Yeah still salty over that If that hadn't been the case 5 stars straight up. But if we are talking about the complex itself than pretty good.

Pretty happy with my move. Staff made it super easy. The community is quiet and clean. The size of our bedrooms are quite large. Everything was moved in ready.

Neighbors have no respect above us. Always loud and obnoxious. Some of the people in office are not the friendliest people and I feel like we have cheaply made thing in the apartment. I’ve had work orders overlooked and nothing being taken care of or brushed aside

This place just kinda doesn’t look anything like it did when I first moved in as far as greenery as far as pet stations, my mail gets wet every time it rains… Maybe there needs to be some kind of awning or something over the mailboxes, Some mail can’t be replaced that gets ruined and tenants just do not pick up their dogs poop. It’s horrible absolutely horrible with the pet poop.

I've been living Here for almost 6 years now. And it's one of the best places. I've lived at. The people at the office are great and we need help they help us out.

This is a good place to live. It's a gates community of sorts, super safe, lots of things to do. Pool, gym, walk. It's close to restaurants and stores so you can walk places. Close to jobs and a Walmart.

It’s been wonderful living here and I have enjoyed every moment. The people are nice, maintenance is fast when needed, and I love my space. Grateful for such a lovely space and good community!

awesome place to live, very quiet and clean and not too much noise. the ladies in the office are always kind and helpful and when you need an extra day to pay rent they always do their best to accommodate you. it really does feel like a community rather than just a place to live. plus this is the safest place we've ever lived, not having to worry about broken into cars or stolen things. its just really nice.

I love living at the Golden Pond apartments! There are so many great amenities and it’s a nice community to be a part of. I love being able to call Golden Pond my home!

It is very clean and everyone is friendly! I had no issues moving in and the space is very nice. Very good area and close to all places you may need.

Apartments are well built and insulated nicely. Neighborhood is relatively safe with multiple grocery stores, parks, and gas stations within walking distance. Neighbors are kind, but we may have gotten lucky. Maintenance is unresponsive and will take months to respond to requests if they even do so at all. You WILL have to call repeatedly to have things fixed and they WILL enter unannounced, even if you request they call first. Lots of dogs with great owners but be wary of those that keep theirs off leash - my big dog was attacked by a “well behaved” off leash dog. Rent is pretty cheap and you get a great bang for your buck, just don’t expect fast maintenance or people to clean up after their pets (watch your step!) and you’ll be okay. Good first apartment for a couple, college kids, or someone trying to figure their life out. Lots of young children living here, too.

A great place to live and close to everything! I especially love that it’s pet friendly. The maintenance's staff is awesome, they have always had a same day response with any requests I have made.

Everything I want here I get. From maintenance to swimming pools I get it all. Very nice and fast staff as well. I never have any issues with appliances and my dog absolutely loves it here.

Pretty great place to live. They take care of work orders quickly and are helpful when you have questions. Rent is pretty good as well when it comes to other properties in Springfield. Hopefully it stays that way!

It’s a great place to live! It’s a quiet neighborhood with great maintenance crew. With the snow they plowed the parking lot and sidewalks. Office staff is very friendly as well.

i recommend living here! the rooms are nice, apartments are tall. kitchen is super nice. maintenance is super fast, easy to get a hold of, and friendly. office is super nice and very helpful! the only problem i had were kids just being rowdy kids, but it comes at every complex so it’s not a huge issue! for the most part neighbors are super friendly and approachable!

I love it here!!! The complex is clean, maintenance is wonderful, neighbors are friendly, staff is always helpful when assistance is needed.

The whole staff is super friendly and the apartments are perfectly located with all things close by which makes it convenient for every day needs!

Been moved in a month. Really nice apartment! However my mistake I should have asked if the apartment was facing James River Freeway. The sound of vehicles driving by goes through the patio door and bedroom windows.

My experience living in Golden Pond has been good overall. It was always meant as a temporary living space until I moved for work, but it has felt like home here. It’s quiet, clean, and management has been great. Would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking

I absolutely love my surroundings of the apartment complex the people are very nice and friendly and very quiet around us :) I feel so cozy in warm in my lovely apartment ??

We have been here for almost two years and we have loved every single moment. We truly have felt like this is our home. We are truly blessed.

Ive been here over a year haven’t had any problems. The people that run the office are awesome and really nice. The times I need something fixed they have had someone here right away.

They're awesome at providing maintenance request in a timely manner, they alleviate stress with payment options. My neighbors haven't caused me any problems, good environment overall. Only improvements I can think of is upkeep with the fitness centers and cracking down on those destroying them.

Golden Pond is a pretty decent place to live most of the time. The location is convenient. Staff is friendly. One of my favorite things is how dog friendly GP is. It seems like staff is actively trying to improve things.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. Paying rent is made easy using the app provided at move in. The complex is very pet-friendly! Sometimes it can get noisy late at night in the summer months.

Rent and other prices are a bit expensive for the quality of the apartment buildings. I don’t personally use any of the amenities but I’ve heard they’re great. One thing that really bugs me is the whole parking fiasco because I can never find a spot in front of my building but hey that happens a lot of places. Overall, still a great place to live.

I haved lived at Golden Pond for 2 years Feburary 2025. It is quiet, clean and property management is very good. Anytime I've needed something fixed they were there that day and finished in a timely manner.

Overall decent management and apartments. Been here two years and strong. They are rather friendly and they try to get things done in a timely manner.

I am 80 years old and have never lived anywhere as long as I have lived in Golden Pond. And now it has been over 8 years and happy years at that! The office staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff are skilled and knowledgeable. When we moved from Texas we were blessed to have discovered Golden Pond and have never regretted moving to Springfield and into the Golden Pond!

Clean, friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Have no complaints and have lived here three years now. Amenities provided are great and it’s close to shopping and recreation areas.

Me and my wife are loving it here at golden pond the apartment is nice and beautiful, and the community here are full of nice people and the amenities are a plus here.

The website is nearly unusable, to the point that our move-in date was delayed and we had to plead our case to management and provide proof that it was nonfunctional. We were supposed to have moved in four days prior, and not only did my wife and I have to find somewhere else to stay on our wedding night, we had to move our things into storage temporarily and will need to find a way to move some of the larger items all the way to Springfield. Other than that entire fiasco, the apartment itself is good. Management has been helpful, and the property is clean and the other residents are friendly.

This was my first experience living in an apartment because I've always owned my home. After the separation from my husband I found myself having no choice. I must admit Jen was amazing at making me and my kids feel welcome and I've had nothing but good experiences. That's not to say we haven't had loud neighbors or small issues that are bound to happen when living in an apartment, but they have been relatively minor and we are pleased with the apartment and the staff. They are quick to repair or check on anything I've requested. It's been 8yrs and I have not plans to move any time soon.
