Willow Oaks is known as one of Hampton’s best neighborhoods to live in and it’s not hard to see why. This neighborhood is family-friendly with great schools and boasts an incredible central location. Willow Oaks is about four miles north of Downtown Hampton and Hampton University. Several beaches like Buckroe Beach and Park are about five miles away. Willow Oaks is wooded and rests between the Southwest Branch Back River and the Hampton River, giving residents access to several parks and the river. Locals flock to Gosnold's Hope Park for kayaking and boating. Willow Oaks is mainly residential, but there are several restaurants, grocers, and stores scattered throughout the area. The neighborhood has affordable to upscale houses, apartments, and townhomes available for rent.

Property Ratings at Gosnold Mews Apartments
I love planting something in the garden every year and having fresh veggies. The kids love playing with sidewalk chalk by the gazebo and BBQ. It's close enough to a school zone that kid touchers can't move in and the families feel safe enough to let their kids out in groups together to run around. There are jet noises, and people who leave dog poo ( no animal policy, but still large dog logs) a main road, thin walls.very thin. Not noise free. There are big water bugs that feed on the trash in the dumpsters and wander around at night so open windows and doors are not advisable in the evening. As long as there competively priced and have that sweet garden I'm staying though. Cute squirrels too.
Dirty and roach infested. You can literally hear the neighbors because the walls are so thin
This place suffers not from its residents but from the management. This place has a location that is perfect, and good people living here. The issue is management continually not listening to residents and uncaring towards our concerns. You’ll be much happier somewhere where you can feel comfortable opening up to your apartment management.
Property manager is not friendly, very rude. Don’t waste your time. Much better options elsewhere
I have been living here for almost 2yrs now, and I absolutely love it here. I love my studio apartment. They take very good care of these apartments. It is a very quiet community, all the neighbors are nice and friendly. They keep the complex looking very nice. If you have a problem with anything they fix it very quickly. I would recommend Gosnold Mews Apartments if you like a very nice, safe place to live.It definitely has a homey feel to it, You couldn’t go wrong living here. So come on by and check it out.
I live in a studio apartment that is a perfect place to begin living away from home. So many things right a short distance. Elementary school right across the street, the same with a giant park! Office manager is wonderful and so friendly and helpful with everything.

Thank you, so much for being a "Gosnold Resident" We will do our very best to always, take care of you and the other "Gosnold Residents! Once Again, THANK YOU...
This townhouse gives you everything you would need. Money paying gas and electric, water is included which is great! Rent for a 2br was under 800 for me which is hard to come across in Hampton. I have a living and dining room w/ 1.5 bath. Plenty of space for 3 people. It's near the interstate, takes me about 10-17min to get to work. School maybe 15-20 min. But, now the cons. Appliances need to be updated. Needs better maintenance. The drains always overflow, we've called over 3 times about this, he comes out and it works for about two days then they reclog. The top lock on the front door doesn't work. There's some spots in the ceiling of the smaller bdr that look like rain, but haven't noticed it grow since I've been here. The woman in the rental office has a pleasant voice but is very strict when it comes to rent. We were late on rent once, and we discussed not renewing our lease because of the area surrounding the complex. There were gun shots heard outside of the smaller bdr window which will soon be our nursery. And we voiced our complaints and asked about moving to one of her sister properties. She lied about what they offered (as she was telling me the prices and utilities, I grabbed a pamphlet with that information and it seemed like the same expenses in a better area). She didn't really sell the sister properties and when we told her we weren't confident about renewing our lease, she brought back up the month we didn't pay on time. It felt like a guilt trip and I didn't like that. We also had issues with wasps entering the house (my significant other has a deadly allergy to them) and we had to twist their arm for them to take down these wasp nests right outside of the bdr windows. We have also noticed spiders entering through the cracks of the back door. Another issue that will be notified. The kitchen cabinets give off a syrupy smell, I'm guessing because they're so old. But I'd really like to move somewhere better but with a baby coming and a restricted income right now, we may have to do another year here. If I had the funds, we'd pay a little more to leave. Good for college students and young adults for their first apartment to get their feet wet. The next place however will definitely be better!
