Property Ratings at Granada Gardens Apartments & Townhomes
Granada recently just switched owners with no heads ups. Said they were going to have online payment system up by December of 2024 and it still isn’t up. They also don’t have their affairs in order to sign any leases. The hallways reek from sewage coming from apartments they’ve gutted but never finished renovating. I’ve been calling the leasing office every month since July of 2024 to fix my A/C. In October of 2024 I had mice in my kitchen, no clue where they came from but I never had that issue before. I’ve called maintenance and the leasing office about that too and they did absolutely nothing. I got my own traps to catch the mice, still don’t know if I got them all. Also the mice have popped all inside of my stove and it might possibly be one dead in there too and still no word back from management or the leasing office, mind you I constantly call. They just want to collect rent and not serve their community.
To be perfectly honest, this place deserves a negative score rating. If you see anything higher than a 2star they are lying. The place is a complete dump. I've been here for a year and it's TERRIBLE. This place is infested with roaches, the hot water barely works, my ceiling has been leaking for almost 70% of my lease and they refuse to fix the issue. The laundry room is always dirty and it's only one machine working, some floors don't have any working, which makes a conflict because they have to come to our floor. DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!
Please DO NOT move here unless you have no where else to go. The leasing office staff and maintenance are completely unprofessional and lazy.
I had a tour scheduled for Saturday, which I got multiple confirmation emails for. Showed up and there was nobody at the leasing office, and no way to get ahold of anyone. When I tried to enter a lobby area to see if I could find anyone, it stank. There’s garbage in the grass around the properties. There are much better apartments in the area, do not waste your time here.
Place is nasty the pictures are false advertising it smells in the lobby & elevators Staff members in the office are RUDE & unprofessional there only here for a paycheck This place needs a makeover with new everything including mangnent
No emergency maintainence. You only pay rent for your apartment and NO emenities!!!!!!! They pool has never been opened for the year we have lived here. Its full of algae. No security on property. Cops wont do anything to arrest any law violations here. Its not a safe place to live.
I'm not sure why it's 4.9 stars. They've had bed bug, roaches, mold & mushrooms growing in the hallways. The washing machines overflow and dryers don't work. They just recently replaced the floors in the mailroom which kept getting shut down with a hazardous waste notice on the door. The hot water tanks are always going out aswell. The leasing office rude and unprofessional. It's awful.
i moved in a year ago i never had a problem, neighbors are quiet and respectful parking lot is cool
overall I view Granada as a place people live to leave the hood but stay close. It's okay, I hear of a lot of crime and stuff but I've never had anything happen. I live around a lot of older women who are great neighbors and watch for everything. The unit I live in has 8 apartments and I recommend it over the mid or high rises. We are close to the freeway, rent isn't too high, I honestly cannot complain at the price I'm paying and the amenities around me.
I love my apartment although it is a little pricey it's a great size has everything I need (heat, ac, appliances and everything works) i have a 3 bedroom for the children I took in. I'm also expecting myself.
Located close to shopping, dining and entertainment, this apartment community offers a lot for a great value. All of the staff from the leasing office to the maintenance team are friendly and there to help you at a moments notice. Not only are we afforded a quiet neighborhood and the usual amenities of a pool and picnic area, there is a large play area for the children as well as a community garden and monthly resident get togethers.
If you don't mind a lot of noise, it's not that bad. It doesnt look like much on the outside, but the inside of the apartments are nice. However, if you plan on putting maintenance requests, don't bother. Either they dont show for months or they never come at all. There are also a lot of children in my building. Lots of running up and down the hallways all times of the day, lots of loud music from the neighbors starting late at night. People outside yelling all times of the night.
