Walker’s Point has become a restaurant hotspot in Milwaukee. Newer lofts mingle side-by-side with older brick apartment buildings in this quasi-industrial, trendy neighborhood, which sits immediately southwest of Milwaukee's downtown.
As you stroll the streets past the neighborhood's mix of popular bars and tapas joints, you’ll find an incredible mix of upscale choice. Restaurants in Walker's Point tend to use locally-sourced food, some from artisanal producers right in the neighborhood. National Avenue and Interstate 43 serve as the major thoroughfares in this part of Milwaukee, making it easy to commute across the river or anywhere else.

Quiet building walkable to a lot with easy highway access. Building is well maintained and responsive property management (Marie is great). Enjoyed my time living here!
I lived at Granary Lofts for 2 years and absolutely loved it! The building is conveniently located within walking distance of many trendy restaurants, breweries, and night life hotspots. As young person walking her dogs at night, I always felt safe walking by the river and through Walker’s Point. The apartments, gym, upper deck, and community room are absolutely gorgeous, made with high-quality materials, and you cannot hear anything through the thick walls! The maintenance team does a superb job of keeping the property well manicured and clean. The best part of living at Granary Lofts was the property management team (shout out to Jory, Jennifer, and especially Marie). They all are incredibly kind, helpful, and respond to all communications promptly. Anyone who rents knows that a landlord can make or break one’s living experience, and I can proudly say that they made mine an absolute dream come true. I highly recommend living at Granary Lofts!

Thank you so much for your kind review! We appreciate you! Wishing You All The Best, LCM Funds Real Estate
I am sad to have to leave my apartment here. I hardly ever hear my neighbors, the views are great, and the area is just growing by leaps and bounds. Work and family are taking me away, but I would move back in a heart beat if I could!

Thank you for your kind review. We wish you all the best in your new location!. Best Wishes from all of us at The Granary Lofts.
Let me start by saying what a great building! Great amenities at a fantastic price. The maintenance staff is very friendly and quick to accommodate the tenants needs. The property is impeccably maintained. I will be back if I ever return to Milwaukee. ??
First of all, the location is great because you have quick access to the north, south, and westbound freeways. You can also walk to the Third Ward area in about 20 minutes. The building backs up to the train tracks, but the soundproof sliding glass doors work extremely well and I rarely notice any train sounds. The building and the units themselves are also great. The hallways and common areas make you feel like you’re in an upscale hotel, and the units are all brand new as well. I’m in one of the smaller studios, and I was able to create distinct bedroom, living room, and kitchen areas without it feeling tight. The building is also very well managed. The people in the office are extremely responsive, and non-urgent maintenance requests are typically taken care of within a day. If you’re looking for a new place to live, I highly recommend it!
Cons (many of these only apply to the specific unit that I'm in, the smallest one bedroom offered, Unit C). The floor is noticeably sloped, there are some kitchen cabinets that are virtually unusable that are smooshed in a corner, and there is an utter lack of storage. There's also not free coffee anywhere. None of these things are particularly big deals to me, although it can be somewhat annoying to wonder whether your chair is rocking because it is crooked or the floor is. The biggest things to consider are that the entire side facing downtown is directly adjacent to working train tracks. The builders did an excellent job soundproofing the apartment, so when the slider to the balcony is closed, you only hear faint clangs and rumblings. I have an air cleaner in the bedroom, which is further insulated from the train by the living room, and noise is imperceptible from there. Safety-wise, the area directly to the south is safe enough during the day, but I definitely wouldn't walk alone as a woman at night, and tend to keep to the main streets. Overall, given the balance of pros and cons, I am exceptionally pleased with the overall experience living here. (2 of 2)
