Grand at The Dominion Apartments

Management is extremely sweet and the apartment is beautiful. I got a garage and I’ve very pleased with the size and area where it’s located. The maintenance has also responded extremely quickly to requests

Problem: Deferred maintenance on parking lot lighting, outside building lighting, hallway lighting, and emergency lighting in the hallways. This has been going on for years! Problem: Dirty hallways(including dog poop) and sheet rock and paint damage.

So far I love the location of Grand at the Dominion, and I have loved my apartment. I did doubt continuing to live here because about 1 wk ago, there were non residents that broke into 3 vehicles by visitors side, and there were no staffing or security to help prevent this. one of those vehicles belonged to my friend who came to visit me. Another is the staff, their way of interaction does not feel sincere at all, it feels like they don't want to talk to you some times and are answering questions quickly just to not deal with you. The manager is very much like this, her smile is half way, and definitely does not feel real.

Everything is affordable and everyone is so kind. Moving in was made to be really easy; everyone gave us a list of what needed to be done and we did it and got accepted for the lease. The apartments are gorgeous and clean. Really love living here.

Our transfer apartment was not clean. Especially, the floors and windows. Disappointing. Otherwise, it is a nice community to live in. We have lived here for nine years already.

I love living here it has such a nice pool and the people are super friendly! It is also nice having everything close by like a heb and walmart

I've been living here for two months, and I'm thoroughly disappointed. The complex is filthy, and the building I reside in is covered in bird droppings. There were bird nests in the hallway on top of the fire alarms, and naturally, the birds relieved themselves everywhere. Although the birds have since flown away, the complex has made no effort to clean up the mess. There was a bird nest on my patio, and while it was removed before I moved in, the droppings were left behind. It's truly disgusting here. I rent a washer and dryer, and the dryer broke down. I submitted a maintenance request and was told they'd get to it when they could. Apparently, there's only one maintenance person for the entire complex, so the front office prioritizes emergencies. As if having clean clothes isn't essential! I'm extremely unhappy with this residence. For the rent they charge, I shouldn't be dealing with these issues. Please take pride in your community and keep it clean.

Me gusta vivir aquí, pero la iluminación externa de los edificios es cada vez peor, hay muchos bombillos quemados y si no los cambian, nos quedaremos a oscuras. El área de la piscina tampoco está bien iluminada. Me gustaría que el área de juegos, esté abierta de noche Vivimos aquí desde el año 2019, nos hemos mudado de edificio dos veces y debemos mudarnos nuevamente a un apartamento más grande, me gustaría hacerlo de una vez pero nos piden pagar un transfer muy alto

Great experience with everything! The staff was super helpful and friendly! All of my questions were answered and they went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything!

Great location. Perfectly located around all my needs. Restaurants, grocery store, Walmart, nail salon, banking, massage spa ,etc. I love sitting by the pool and enjoying the tranquility. ..

I've lived here for more than 2 years. The management here has always been super stellar as well as the maintenance staff. The front desk and managers have all had my well-being in mind when I come to them needing help.

Love this apartment complex. It's near the hill country but still close to the city as well. Dog friendly and clean complex, has dog park. Driving distance to wineries!!

Poor management, maintenance does not take care of anything. Pet waste rots for months. Stairs are lose in buildings, infestation of bugs and nothing is taken care of. Monthly rent increased without consent, and no reason to back it up. It takes weeks to even get maintenance to acknowledge the damage and don’t repair it. We were lied to and given the wrong apartment and nothing was done to correct their error. I wouldn’t have ever moved here if I had known…DO NOT RECOMMEND

Have lived here for 2 years and it has been great, no issues, maintenance comes fast, and helpful front office workers! Definitely recommend living here.

I love my apartment and the amenities that it comes with! The only cons I would say are parking is very limited and sometimes have to park outside the gates, and the valet trash people are super picky on what they’ll take or won’t take.

Staff was friendly but my apartment was not move in ready. There were multiple shortcuts from the make ready team. The process was very quickly and felt rushed for my move in.

As a new resident I couldn’t be happier with my choice to call this community home. The staff has been so helpful and welcoming. My move in process exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased.

Pretty cool place love the hills a lot nicer than Wichita rooms are really nice surrounding area is pretty quiet makes a great place to live and sleep

The team at Grand is amazing. I needed to downgrade into a smaller apartment, and they were extremely helpful. I have lived here for over a year now and love it. It's very quiet and peaceful and backs up to a ton of nature. The office is always super friendly, and they communicate well and are fair. Joanna particularly is extremely patient and helpful. 5 stars. Becky

I love the apartments, I have 6 years here !!! I love the amenities and the staff. (Specially Agustin he it’s very nice )Is quiet and safe. I recommend live here.

Only issue is when I have guest over they have issues finding parking. Other then that the office is very responsive to maintenance issues etc

This apartment complex is in a safe and quiet location. Maintenance always fixes things pretty soon after you make a request. The front office workers are great and help with everything! I have no complaints or even suggestions for the apartment to work on. Amenities are good, and they’ve been doing a lot of renovations lately which is good. However, the did the dog park and painted the parking lot which is fine but the dog park now has turf which is hotter so it’s too hot for a dogs paws and well as the black paint on the parking lot is too hot after it got painted black but nothing little booties can’t help!

I love living here, it’s peaceful and quietly. I wish there was more lighting in the parking lot but over residents are nice and management is nice.

My family and I recently moved in and we just love it here. It's quiet, clean and just a great location. Ana in the office is amazing and the maintenance guy was great. So far so good. ??

We have lived here for 9 years! Our neighbors look out for each other and are always friendly. We feel safe. And shopping is so convenient! Management has changed hands a few times, but this one now has been the very best!

I’ve been here for quite sometime and it’s been always a breath of fresh air, I love it here feel like narnia lol. I enjoy the view the walks the pool and the weight room it’s definitely an awesome experience

Really loved living here , I never had one complaint ever about living here. Some of my best memories this year have been from living here. I’m going to miss living here.

It’s cool I just wish I could’ve stayed longer but I would def recommended to friends and family and hope to come back again one day soon in the future

easy move. applied got accepted and got the keys all within 3 days! the place is nice quiet. only downside is no parking after 8 whatsoever.

Living at the Grand at the Dominion Apartments is a luxurious and comfortable experience. Nestled in one of San Antonio's most prestigious neighborhoods, the complex offers upscale living with top-notch amenities. The spacious floor plans are designed with modern aesthetics, featuring high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and stunning views of the surrounding area.

Buyer beware! Unsure where to even start. This has to be in the top 3 most poorly managed complexes I’ve ever come across. 1. There are not enough parking spaces to park anywhere remotely close to your apartment, unless of course you want to pay for a covered spot, which may or may not be close to your apartment. 2. They seal coat the parking lot at the most absurd hours/time of year and create hazards for residents in doing so. They currently have one lane of the entrance to the complex closed off… so there is one single lane road for 2-way traffic to try to squeeze through. A lawsuit waiting to happen. 3. Management seems to care more about their egos and pushing residents around than actually providing a comfortable place to live - she’s flat out rude, to be frank. 4. We had to caulk and seal our pantry in our apartment upon move in because there are ants EVERYwhere. 5. Trash/dirt all over the hallways & management doesn’t care, guess they pick and choose which rules to follow?

Super helpful! Easy process moving in and becoming a resident. Amenities are great and love the location, lots to do immediately around the property.

I am not happy with not getting full disclosure of the lack of parking near my apartment. When I have to park on the other side of the apartment complex this is wrong. Managements solution is to pay for a garage or other reserved parking. Also I was not told of the horrendous bird migration. I do not have access to my balcony for months because of all the bird poop on my balcony. I regret moving here.

Convenient location and pretty quiet area, there’s a neighborhood HEB near by which is awesome as well as surrounding restaurants! The amenities are also nice

It’s been nice living here it’s peaceful and quiet and I the pool has been a nice way to cool off and relax and I like the trash valet and the garage space is nice too maintenance is pretty good as well

Great location for me! Love the area, quiet with a beautiful hill side view, and spacious pool area for friends and families. The neighbors are friendly and look out for each other.

This apartment complex has clean apartments and amenities. Probably a good choice for kids because it has a fun pool and they do holiday parties.

Overall happy with the apartments and the community, though there are a few suggestions I'd like to pass on. One of them being putting speed bumps throughout the complex. It is really unsettling how fast some of the residents drive through the complex. My car and myself have almost be hit several times. This is a safety issue that I feel needs to be addressed. The second thing being the amount of birds that are nesting in the complex. There are at least 100 nests and we are constantly having to clean bird poop off our cars, and we rent the extra space for the garage. Im not sure if anything will be done about these issues, but I feel that need some attention.

It is fine. I appreciate that you guys make improvements to the facility. I like that ms. Hunter usually hears me out and tries to help me out. I appreciate that shoo shoo brings me water, even if there isn't any in the fridge. I appreciate maintenance for respecting my wishes for space and working with me in a way that makes me comfortable. Overall, I have had a good experience.

Great place to live! Everyone is so nice and respectful. I like that H-E-B and Walmart are right around the corner. Parking would be my only complaint. Other than that, it’s great.

It’s nice. I don’t like how the power goes out that often and that residents don’t pick up their dogs poop, but the amenities are nice and I’ve had no issues with the staff

Such a great location and really nice staff. Amenities are wonderful and love how the gym is 24/7. Living here has been a great experience. Neighbors around the area are super nice.

I really love the community and the amenities! The Office staff was really helped when we moved in. We loved the outline of the apartment as well, and the maintenance is pretty great!
