Property theft is so bad. Light bar was stolen as well as my tonneau cover off my truck. If you have anything aftermarket on your vehicle prepare for it to be stolen. The garage that I rent on property had an attempted break in as well.

This complex caused me more stress in my life than I had ever imagined. Nothing worked (AC, dishwasher, doors falling off the hinges, bad smell coming from sink, etc.) Living here honestly felt like someone had tried to renovate the place with the least amount of effort and care possible. The worst part too was that after SEVERAL (7+) visits with maintenance NOTHING WAS FIXED. There was even a time our garbage disposal did not work, so because our dishwasher wasn’t working either, we were unable to clean our dishes in the kitchen sink because the disposal was clogging everything, so we were forced to carry everything to the bathroom to do it there because maintenance couldn’t seem to fix anything. It was extremely frustrating that we paid so much money for an apartment that could not function. But if you are ready to waist your time, money, and patience, Grand Centennial is the place for you.

Poorly maintained. Staff treats tenants deplorably. They are focused on filling units after that they could care less. They try to pit tenants agianst each other! Report my neighbor for not cleaning their dogs poop? Maybe do a better job of property clean up and maintenance?
Terrible maintenance. Terrible staffing. When you move out they will SCREW you over with extra service charges and you will never be able to do anything about it. This seems like a good deal but they will also increase your rent exponentially after you go to renew a lease even if it's for a longer period of time. Just protect yourself and stay away from this place
I lived here for two years and had minimal issues. My neighbors were great and I loved the surrounding area. However, when it came to moving out, it was a complete nightmare. Somehow they “lost” record of me ever paying a deposit and then charged an ungodly amount for “carpet replacement” after a bleach spill (I’ve never used bleach). They tried charging for a mess of other things as well, totaling an extra $800 - $1000 when all was said and done. On top of this, the staff is terrible. The assistant manager has no clue what he’s doing and the manager wouldn’t even give me the time of day, let alone help me with my issues. She’s rude, conniving, and her staff is a clear reflection of that. One office worker even told me how awful the management treats it’s residents. I have come to believe the mistreatment is mostly towards military. They know we have to move around more often and unsuspecting than others so it’s easy to hit military with these wild charges and get away with it, knowing we won’t want to pursue legal action. If I was still here, I would’ve taken them to small claims. Do yourself a favor and skip over this place.
I've lived here for 3 months now, and have filed at least 3 work orders for issues ranging from a toilet constantly running to my entire wall being saturated with water from a water heater break that happened a floor above me. I spoke with the manager who had very little remorse for me not being able to be comfortable in my apartment... Maintenance is extremely understaffed and not able to keep up with the work orders coming in. The lack of urgency is what I find most upsetting with the management team. I hope the wall grows mold so they have to let me leave, sad to say because I hate moving with a burning passion but it's that bad.
DO NOT RENT HERE............. They will charge you heavy money in the name of damages which is normal wear and tear. I lived there for 2 years and they are charging me 1300 dollars for carpet replacement which is in very good condition.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! The management at this place is horrible!!!! Year #1 (first apartment)=Neighbor shoots into my apartment from his apartment. Management staff fights with me for 6 hours telling me I have to stay in that apartment and that they will not move me. Year #2 (second apartment)= Area around the building floods and nothing is done to redirect the water. All tenants in the building are unable to walk to their apartments from the parking lot without walking through 4" of water. Told by management that they can't control the weather. Year #3 (third apartment)=Management tells me it is my fault I was given incorrect information regarding when my lease was up. As someone who works in the customer service industry, I could never fathom talking to a customer the way the manager, Jennifer, spoke to me this week. She is extremely rude, interrupted me while I was trying to speak, blamed me for her staff's incorrect information and then hung up on me! Do not rent here! They do not care about their tenants, the "amazing amenities" are always closed and under construction, the parking lot never gets plowed after big snow storms, and the management sucks!
We have been here for about five years and when we moved in everything was great. Excellent front office service, 24 hour turn around on all maintenance request, grounds well maintained, ect. There was a big shift in front office staff a few years back, and since then everything has suffered. This is not the same complex we fell in love with when we moved here. Rent keeps going up, service keeps going down.
I've lived in this complex for 4 years and I am not very impressed. The amenities are below average and the apartments are poorly built. Living on the first floor, you hear everything that goes on in the apartments around you. The manager and leasing staff are extremely rude and incompetent. They have never been helpful and have often not called back when leaving several messages on urgent matters. When I move, it will be because the office staff is extremely unprofessional and not resourceful. There are good things about living in the complex. The maintenance staff is amazing and works hard to make sure everything I need is taken care of. They keep the complex running. Another aspect that I like is how safe the complex is. I have never had to worry about vandalism or a break in. The view of living on the west side is by far my favorite thing. You are so close to Pikes Peak here while still being close to the highway and the rest of town. All in all, the prices are ridiculous but I enjoy the location.
I have lived here for almost three years. The staff is very unhelpful. The spa/hot tub was out of service last winter for three months. When I asked about it I was advised by the manager that they do not have to fix the ammenaties and could close them down anytime they wanted and there was nothing their tenants can do about it. If you are spending this much the are better places in the springs.
The apartment itself is kind of small and you can hear every noise from upstairs (and I mean EVERY noise). But overall I do enjoy living here because it is very safe and there is a lot of storage space. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone who is currently looking.
