Grand Island Square

I don’t usually leave reviews, and if I do, they’re good ones. But I just had to…The apartment is spacious and it’s close to everything. Other than that, it’s trash. If you don’t care about the elevators never working, or the fact that you can see cracks on the first floor, the dirtiness and smells of the building, a lot of pest. The laundry ruining your clothes, the water pressure constantly changing and having to be turned off, NO PARKING, the leasing office doesn’t care about you and customer service is foreign to them. The security is pretty non existent. I can go on. Don’t move here. I do not recommend. I’m leaving as soon as I can.

I recently moved at the community. The management team was warm and inviting and made me feel confident in my decision to choose Grand Island as my new residence. The application process was was thorough yet extremely easy and the staff was easily accessible to answer any questions I had. Communication is open, transparent, and friendly. I felt very welcomed throughout the move in process. During my move in, my unit was extremely clean and literally ready for me to just bring my belongings and settle in. I like my new home.

The team is very responsive to my needs. The issue was resolved quickly. Good service from all the team

Me and my husband have been living here for a year so far and we love it. This place is close to everything you need, walmart, banks, food, ect. And our job is not that far away from here as well. Way better than where we used to be that's for sure. We love taking walks/jogs at snake canal creek park and everyone is really nice and friendly. No one bothers us in the building/unit we are in so that's also good. I mean, every place will have there own flaws and right now, me and my husband are good here. ??

There isn’t enough people talking horribly about this building so I will join in. I moved here In November 2021 and I absolutely hate it. The building is infested with roaches and I had to invest in my own exterminator to rid my apartment of them (and sometimes that isn’t enough). I have consistently brought this is issue to management and the had a building wide fogging session which failed since there’s still roaches in the hallways. On top of the roach issue, my roof started leaking in 2 places on February and they took two months to fix it. Now at the start of hurricane season I am dealing with another leak. If you’re goal is save money here, please think again. Being a resident myself I’m constantly having to get upset with management in order to get things handled in my unit. This building is not worth it unless you can deal with roaches, and unhelpful/ detached management. Obviously upper management does not care about anything besides money which is sad considering the amount of beautiful families that reside here. Lastly I will happily dare you all to respond to this and say I’m not a resident because you don’t recognize the first name. I promise you I did not heed the warnings on here, please listen and do not subject yourself to these issues if you don’t have to.

We have lived here since January of this year and love living here. Our apartment is spacious and Nancy the manager makes sure the property is well maintained. We have also gotten to know Alina from corporate and are extremely appreciative of her efforts on our behalf during this stressful time we have all been through since the pandemic started. You can’t go wrong with the location. It is situated close to everything important. From the canal with it’s beautiful walkway to the Walmart which is two blocks away and so convenient. There is also mass transit very close by and there are lots of restaurants to choose from with every imaginable cuisine. We highly recommend Grand Island Square as a great place to live and call home.

The building is a little old, but the apartments are updated. The building is well located and has shops on the first floor: lounge, Cuban restaurant, natural shakes and a walmart in front of the building, which is really convenient. The material makes you feel like family and they are completely open to help you in any situation. My son lived for a year in the building and was always treated very well by all those in charge of the office, especially Camila, who is a reference for a good job in the building.

I have been living in these apartments for the last 2 years and let me tell you I have not had a better experience. The staff is always available for any issues that I have in my unit, the common areas are clean and in good conditions. I have had no issues living here. Also, it is across the street from walmart and other shopping areas which makes it convenient for me since I have a child. Definitely a 5 star+

It is horrible roaches everywhere, if you request maintenance nobody coming . the staff rude and unprofessional . Employees who clean the lobby always playing with the ladies in the office . No parking , lobby terrible and the elevators always broke I move in already because it is impossible leave there .

This building is only getting worse, no parking a lot, dirty and the maintenance guys are rude.

Camila helped us last she was wonderful and very I suggest that y’all check this place it’s nice and quiet ??????????

Very Good helpful

I made several visits to apartments in Norte Maimi Beach, without doubt this was the best choice, it accepted animals, I and my family have been living for more than 1 year, property is always detected, corridors cleaned, trash cleaned, children have the area of leisure, swimming pool. All the staff are polite and respectful, the secretariat “Camila“ if very present and willing to solve all the problems that appearance.

I was looking for a nice, clean, modern, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom apartment in the area, and I came across Grand Island Square. I went to the leasing office and I was treated with great service and hospitality. Nancy ( Property Manager) was wonderful. If you are looking for apartment in North Miami area, I definitely recommend Grand Island. The experience living here has been GREAT!!!!!!

It is horrible, dirty, and with plagues, do not move here

I've been living here in Grand Island for 2 years. Office staff and maintenance people are very nice and friendly. They made repairs the same day you submit them to be made. Apartments are spacious and newly renovated. Pet friendly is a plus, make my dog and me really happy!!!. Besides, Grand Island is convenient located, 10 minutes from the beach, 15 minutes to I95, Aventura Mall, 20 to Ft. Lauderdale and Downtown Miami.

Location is great and staff is very friendly. Nancy and Chony provide 5 star service, as well maintenance team. It's very convenient to have a Walmart and restaurants on site as well!!!! Only 10 minutes from Aventura Mall, and everything is pretty much walking distance. I would recommend this property.

Grand Island is in a good location for quick access to I95, downtown Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. The grounds are always kept very nice and the maintenance staff are always friendly and fix problems quickly. The office staff, in particular Nancy, are very helpful and is always a smiling face in the office willingly to help with anything you need. She is the best worker they have. Nancy is the best.

Grand Island Condo is amazing, great amenities, comfortable and spacious area, staff is so friendly and warm, Nancy the Property Manager is professional and knows how to manage this property. I've been living here for the past two years, and no planning to move any time soon.

Living here is like living in heaven, really comfortable, peaceful, well maintained. I've been living in South Florida since 2007, and here one year ago, and this apartment have been the best apartment that I've lived ever. The Property Management, and all the staff give and provide you the best service that you could ask for, professional, respectful and friendly treatment. The new gym is fully equipped, the lake view is beautiful, cleaned and spacious apartments. 5 Stars.

Don't move there, it's beautiful but wait until something need to be repaid and it all goes sour. Loaded with pests....

Grand Island is a great find considering all of the apartments Ive gone through with my family. Living in South Florida is EXPENSIVE and majority of apartments don't have tentative management. But I will give it to Grand Island for being one of the most well-rounded apartments ive lived in and fairly priced. I love living in south florida and I am happy to have found Grand Island when apartment searching. Office staff is very friendly and I feel very safe herewhich is an important factor for me because I am a single mom with 2 kids!!! There have also noticed a few improvements and remodeling here and there throughout the past 10 or 11 months of living here which is nice. If you're considering an apartment in Miami I would highly recommend considering Grand Island.

I lived here for the past year and it has been a great experience. I wish I didn't have to leave, but I am going to school in Orlando. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. The office staff and maintenance is very friendly, professional, and responsive. I hope to find the same type of management at my next apartment.

Over priced Invested with roaches Maintenance sucks Laundry room is expensive & always broke My car has been broken into 4 times

For one the elevator is broken every other week... never no parking fire alarm always going off in the middle of the night for no reason what so ever.. full of roaches over priced sometime the front door is broken and the list goes on shame to say i was happy for the first month till you really see this place for what it really is

I love my new apartment! The office staff was very helpful through the entire move in process. All the building renovations have been done very tastefully and modern, including a great gym. All the units have been completely remodeled, everything in my apartment is brand new. So happy with my decision to move in here, everything has been so great!

I've been looking in the area for a nice apartment for sometime and everywhere I went everything was very old and expensive. I recently rented here and looking forward to my move in. The apartments have been completely gutted, all the kitchens and baths are brand new, brand new tile and appliances...I'm in love. The girls in the office were so nice and helpful. I'm also cancelling my gym membership because they just put in an amazing gym with all the machines I use. The main building even has a full service restaurant and a smoothie place right there. I just love everything about this place!

I have been a resident of Grand Island Square for 5 years now. The place used to be a dump but it recently changed ownership and they have invested a lot of time and money into making it a comfortable home and community for its residents. They renovated my unit completely and updated all of the common areas and amenities to look beautiful. I am extremely happy with the changes that have been made and I am confident Grand Island Square will continue to provide a comfortable and safe residence for my family.

Over priced and loaded with roaches. Take forever to fix things. Nothing is ever being taken care off. Bad service.

This is the perfect place to live right in miami.bus stop right across the street if you dont have a car you can still handle your bussiness.Lake view, large bedroom very clean, very nice staff, 10 minute from the beach.Each building is still being renovated to look even more beautiful inside and out.This is the place to live.
