Good living conditions. Nice neighbors and a central location to excellent dining. Not far from multiple restaurants and grocery store chains. Maintenance staff is courtious and helpful.
The complex as a whole is very quiet, which I like a lot. All the neighbors I have met are quite friendly, which I enjoy, being the social person I am. Actually, I have no complaints.

Disclaimer: This review is for Grand Villas at Tuscan Lakes, but my primary issue is with the owner and manager of the property, Greystar. Therefore, for the duration of the review I will be referencing greystar, as I personally would avoid any property owned and managed by greystar. I gave greystar multiple opportunities to make things right, but they chose to have this review written instead. During my second year renting from greystar, my AC unit started making a horrendous smell. It was a strong chemical smell and I started to worry for my safety. I opened the closet door for the AC unit and discovered the unit had no air filter installed and had frozen over due to dust buildup. I called the front office to explain the issue. They told me to keep the unit running and someone would be there as soon as possible. After 10 minutes the cooling capacity had diminished and the smell was too strong to handle. I shut off the unit and opened all the doors and windows to air out the apartment. I called the front desk again and explained it was not possible to keep the unit going and I was starting to feel sick. After the unit was repaired, greystar installed a lock on the AC access door. During my two years at greystar, they never replaced the AC air filter or performed any preventative maintenance. To my surprise, upon leaving the apartment, greystar added a $650 fee to have their AC vents professionally cleaned. Renters are not responsible for performing building maintenance. If greystar cared about their building and equipment so much, they should have performed regular maintenance on the unit. Instead, they chose to do nothing and are now trying to get their tenants to pay for their incompetence. I explained this to the building manager and corporate but they had no interest in logic or reasoning and instead, sent the bill to collections. Not to mention: dog poop outside most days. We heard rodents in our ceiling and walls (Greystar never “found” anything), 15 work orders in the first two weeks, including issues I noticed while touring the apartment. (Fork in garbage disposal, dishwasher didn’t dry, ice machine didn’t work and leaked water)

Moved in Feb. 2024, and love the newly renovated apartment, only issues is with maintenance not communicating with me about fixing the air conditioner, they did not come to my door at all and it was 84 degrees in the apartment all day, plus I needed a new filter because the ice froze and tore the previous filter when I removed it, so here it is 5:30 pm, no one as far as I knew has come by been home all day, went to office and was told he worked on it outside, which is fine but a knock on the door would have been nice to let me know that and then I would have let him know that I needed a filter smh. Other than that situation, really enjoy living here!!!

The staff in the community are very helpful and nice to work with when there are issues. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are very good about communication of any ongoing general maintenance work/refurbishing and also provide advice on improving energy consumption.

We have been here for about a year. I love the way they are improving the appearance of the apartments. The improvements on the inside are beautiful. My husband and I plan to be here for a long time.

We love living at Grand Villas at Tuscan Lakes! Manager and staff are super friendly and efficient. Maintenance responds quickly to any problem and are very nice. We just moved from one apartment into a newly renovated apartment and it is absolutely gorgeous! Exact same layout but the difference is astounding! New countertops, new appliances, new carpet and to top it off, buildings are newly painted! We feel that this a safe community and plan on staying for a long while.

Building manager responded quickly to an issue on move in. So far the overall experience has been very good. Glad to see the improvements to the exterior appearance of the apartments.

Would not recommend to anyone I know. Should you choose this place, do diligence would need to be at the forefront of your tasks prior to signing a contract. Checking out the apartment, evaluating the AC/Heater/Refrigerator, ant/bug inspection, and so on. Beautiful community but does not appear to be managed well or perhaps the communication amongst the staff is not the best and resulting in problems for the residents.

We’ve had a broken ice maker for a month now. It took maintenance 3 weeks to try to fix it but it’s only made it worse. Have not had any follow up with management after reaching out to them several times. Very unhappy with the service and lack there of that this apartment complex is providing.
