Property Ratings at Grande at Indian Lake
I’m moving here from Miami, FL and it’s been a long journey to find a place. I finally decided on this one, and the entire process has been so smooth! Stacey has been amazing from helping with my application to ensuring she is prepared to get my keys to me when I finally arrive. I haven’t moved in just yet so can’t comment on the property, but honestly coming from another state I am so grateful for how headache-free this has been so far. Looking forward to becoming a Hendersonville resident :)

We are delighted to hear about your smooth transition and positive experience with our team. It brings us joy to know that we could make your move from Miami less stressful. We can't wait to welcome you to Hendersonville and hope that your new home will exceed your expectations. We appreciate your kind words and 5-star rating!
We have not had a working downstairs toilet since moving in in December. We have had a disposal that drains all the dirty food and water into our dishwasher, all over clean dishes, since December. We have had a mice infestation since January. We have had our dog get loose due to the landscapers leaving our gate open 3 times now. My husband and I moved in when I was 7 months pregnant so excited for this new place that seemed perfect for our little family. But are now literally counting down the days until our lease is up so we can get our infant daughter out of this broken down, rodent infested, unsafe sham of “spacious townhome living.”
Read the reviews and look elsewhere. These apartments are not worth the money. Horrible office staff and maintenance. Repairs are done leisurely. Staff is rude and these apartments are overpriced with sketchy neighbors. So glad I got out of this dump.
I recently had issues with my heat. I was very impressed how the front office handled the situation and how concerned they made me feel. The maintenance man was very prompt, professional, and very courteous. They even came out on New Years Day!
I have been living here for years. We have had quite a few different managers, but I love it here . It's home to me and my grand babies!
With the bad reviews We were really hesitant to move in here but It was the only thing available and we were relocating so our options were limited. However we are very happy now that we ended up taking the apartment, They are very nice and the staff is kind and helpful. I imagine the bad reviews are from people that are mad because they got evicted.
Do not live here. Seriously. Just keep looking. I would leave a much worse review if I could; this is a mild description of how dysfunctional it is to live here, believe me. Tiffany Terrace was bought out last year and is now The Grande at Indian Lake. Since these town homes have been bought out by a conglomerate real estate company, they have gone through numerous property managers (I think we are on the 9th manager in the year we've lived here). Every single one has been horrible; no messages get answered, no calls get returned, no maintenance requests get fulfilled, and every single manager here has completely different "rules" for what they want tenants to do. The current manager has enforced rules by threat based on an addendum that isn't even in our lease. I moved into a "newly renovated" unit but still there is mold, rotten door frames and base boards, backed up plumbing, crossed plumbing between rooms and even neighboring apartments so that when my neighbor uses the washing machine it backs up water into my washing machine. Rent keeps being raised every other month, and every other month they keep adding fees to charge for everything; trash, sewer, pest control (whether I have them come out or not, I still have to pay for it), and an extra $25 for what? They had no idea, but I was responsible for it anyway or I would be evicted! Every visit to the office - not only is there a different manager, but a plethora of different front office staff that are not friendly or helpful. If I could break my lease without paying the rest of the owed amount, I would have done it yesterday.

Thank you for your feedback. While we cannot speak directly to the events you have described since they are so far in the past, we wanted to take time to address the more general concern. We were going through a period of high turnover at this time and we apologize for any miscommunication and/or frustrations that may have occurred for our residents as a result. We strive to make our community a friendly, beautiful place to call home and are always working diligently toward that goal. We hope that as time has gone on, our processes have become more streamlined and efficient, and that all of our residents can speak to a positive experience. We wish you the best, Grande at Indian Lake.
I've lived here almost 3 years and have nothing good to say at all!!! Everything seen is a can of paint. ALL of the old problems still there. Knock on doors and ask us who live here before considering.
As a current resident of The Grande at Indian Lake (formerly Tiffany Terrace), let me warn you against the hype surrounding this place. Management does not care about their residents. Late August/early September, management performed a mass towing of vehicles belonging to residents in the name of their "renovations". Management did not attempt to notify residents the day of, despite the fact that each vehicle has a tag identifying to which apartment it belong. After the towing, management chose not to notify residents if their vehicle was towed. The cost of the tow and the storage fees were passed on to the residents. Management's chosen form of communications is an unsecured loose piece of paper left on the sidewalks outside the entryways in the late evenings. Most of these "important" communications end up blowing into the yards, into bushes, or sometimes blown away and never received by the residents. The window screens remain broken allowing bugs as large as carpenter bees into the buildings. The locks on every window in my particular apartment are broken, and cannot be secured. The seals around the doors and windows are torn, weathered, ripped, or otherwise ineffective against keeping out mother nature. Fixing these issues are not on management's renovations list. They replaced the toilets with high efficiency models. These new units must be flushed 3 to 4 times to do the same work as the old units. The renovation work is very poor. When they painted, they failed to clean beforehand. I have found many things that were painted over and left to dry with the paint, things such as loose paper and toothpicks. They didn't remove the adjustable shelves before painting, so now if the shelves are adjusted the old paint color shows where the shelf originally was. Management failed to tell us that it was spray paint. As a result, the spray paint got on everything, including my wooden table and chairs that were in the kitchen. The upper cabinets were barely painted as if the painters were short. They sealed a vent with duct tape. No insulation, no permanent fixture - just tape. The faucets have already started to come loose. Since the new management has moved in, the level of service to the residents has dropped off sharply. I do not plan to stay, and I would advise anyone who is seriously considering moving here to ask a resident about the recent dealings with The Grande.
my husbanand three children has lived here For13 years. I listen to the rumors andSaid somebad things. when I took my whole family To Mera and ask her all of our concern she made us feel so much better she was so nice and caring. we love it hereI would never go anywhere else this is our home and MEra just wanted to be a part of it. everyday now I go to her if I need anything instead of listening to others and rumors also tell her I'm sorry because I wish I never posted nasty things about here, II was. she has helped us in more ways and comforted us. everyone if you have a question go to the main source and talk to her instead of talking about her thank you Mera. we are so happy to have you as our property managertoday I can say you are more than a property manager you care about your residence and your communityI'm happy my children are happy my husband is happy to have you here at Tiffany Terrace thank you for all that you do and go out your extra mile for us. again I am sorryand I needed to post this todaythis is the right post that should be posted.thank you for caring and being so kind Michelle and George ,Stacey,Lucas, and Aron.
I have no idea where all the negative reviews are coming from. I have friends who have lived at this property for years and have experienced nothing but the best. I am about to move in myself and I can't wait! This place is definitely becoming a premier place to live for the Hendersonville market. Talk about a major makeover! The new 21 century, contemporary, sleek design is attractive in every way and appeals to everyone looking to live in style. Whether you are single, or have a family, this is the place to live. The people I know who have lived here for years could not be happier with the amazing transformation this place is undergoing. There is so much offered here. For a guy like me, I am psyched about the new state-of-the-art workout facility coming soon! Also, I can't want for the pavilion area to be built alongside the beautiful pool. Talk about a fun time during the summer! Parties are going to be hosted every month with live music and barbeque! Seriously, who else offers that! I am telling everyone I know about my new home and how great this place is. The lovely ladies who manage this property have been amazing from the very 1st day I walked in .I want to personally give a shout out to the ladies you work here! Thank you for having so much class and character. You all are making Tiffany Terrace the place to live!
Managment here has a real issue of bothering their residences. A flyer on your door every single day. I wish they would leave us alone!!!
Prior to the new management, these apartments were much more than just apartments. They were homes. They were the place you felt welcome. And the place where you felt like you could raise your children. Now, with the new management, these are nothing more than a temporary place to live. The new management is awful. They treat you like your opinion doesn't matter at all. It's a shame because I used to love living here. Now that Mera is is the manager and Brookside just doesn't care, I hate it. It's unfortunate. But so true.
The new management needs to realize that continuously leaving flyers on people's doors gets quite annoying. Under the old management, things were great and they left people alone! Now that the new company had purchased the property, they have decided to raise everyones rent by $500. These buildings were build in the 1980's. The new price is higher than a brand new apartment. PLEASE management leave me and my family alone at least until we move out.
How ironic? Every review before Mera (new manager) was a 5 star. Every review since Mera, a one star. That alone should tell you something. Please if you are considering renting then just go across Imperial Blvd. and rent the BRAND NEW apartments for cheaper. I can't wait to finally move away from this place. Good job Brookside on raising everyone rent $500. Oh and also, if you live at a new apartment complex, I bet you will have a flyer on your door every single day. LEAVE THE TENANTS ALONE PLEASE! The management here is a complete joke. I have never experienced any worse in 20 years of renting.
I can't imagine anyone paying this much for an old apartment. I lived here for 2 years and was happy. New owners came in and raised rent so high. Over $400 a month!! It's not worth the money at all. There are no amenities for that price. They painted over old busted up, broken base boards and walls. The doors are from the 1980's. It is poorly decorated. The paint, floor, cabinets and appliances do not match. It looks like they had a blind interior designer pick everything out. The new owners think they are in Green Hills or something. They claim that rent is at fair market value. It's way overpriced and brand new places in Hendersonville rent for much cheaper. I have nothing positive to say about this place. They are desperate for tenants. Running a lot of rent discounts for the 1st month and free pet fees, just to get someone to move in. The manager is listing "Last ONE" a lot. Actually it is the 1st of 94 she needs to rent. A lot of people moving out & no one moving in. I'd say this wasn't planned out very well. The new management wanted all new tenants and booted people out...Now they sit with empty apartments!!
I have been in Hendersonville for years and recently made the decision to move to Tiffany Terrace!! I LOVE all the new stuff! These townhomes are HUGE!!! The girls in the office were really nice and I get to keep my kids in their school! win win for me!!
Read the reviews or you'll be sorry! The worst place that I've ever lived. My rent went up $500 a month. The $500 is to cover the upgrades. We received a water saver toilet that barely flushes, Berber carpet, new brown counter tops with grey paint on the walls. These upgrades are less than appealing. The 35 year old fire place, old doors that are almost impossible to open and close, tiny kitchen with appliances that at best are ok. The bathroom is about the size of a closet. Each staff member will tell you something different. Definitely not on the same page. They are trying to harass people to get them to move. I have yet to see any new residents. Good luck Tiffany Terrace, I think you've bit off more than you can chew.
These town homes are spacious but the closets are small. It's hard to open and close all doors. They are cheap and fall off the hinges. The hot water heater vibrates and is noisy. If you happen to need repairs, good luck. From ceiling water leaks to broken door in need of replacement, Tiffany Terrace has No sense of urgency. My grandmother is a long time resident and is on a fixed income. Rent increased from $650 to $999. Not worth the money. Poor new staff that are hateful. I must get my family out of this place. Definitely not many happy residents these days!!!
I lived at Tiffany Terrace for 3 years. The pool is ok, fitness center only has 3 machines in a tiny space. I didn't want to move because of my children but had no choice. The new management is rude and is evicting people trying to push all of the tennants out. The renovations look awful. I would never rent a 35 year old town home for 1499.00 a month. Definitely not worth the money. For the price, there are many options for brand new apartments that are cheaper.
If I could have left zero stars, I absolutely would. These apartments have recently been bought out. This is quite unfortunate. The old manager Lisa was wonderful! She kept the grounds nice and was understanding and kind to her residents. The new manager, Mera, is the exact opposite. She essentially harassed the residents who have lived there for years and pushed them to move out by her negative attitude and harsh treatment. Many of the residents have been receiving eviction notices on the first of the month. People that have lived there for years have now lost their home. She increased rent by over $300, yet made mediocre renovations. These apartments are over 35 years old. Good luck keeping residents in your dump and with a terrible manager. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE.
The only good thing to say is that they are quiet. The old manager Lisa was very nice. These apartments were bought by a new company, Brookside. The new manager is extremely rude and puts eviction notices on doors on the 1st day of the month for unpaid rent when the lease states you have until the 5th to pay?? The manager is harassing all of the tenants and trying to get everyone to move out. She wants to double the rent & make them "upscale". Thank God I moved out of this dump. They are old apartments and Brookside doubled the tenants rent without doing much renovating. I would avoid this apartment at all cost!
Tiffany Terrace is a small Complex with great people. There is a pool, tennis court, basketball court, and a clubhouse that can be used for moderate events. My children love it here and you can't find this much square footage with the amenities have. They aren't brand new, but very well maintained. Any problem the management makes sure it's fixed.
Fabulous place to live. Can't beat the price in Hendersonville when comparing square footage, amenities & location versus price. Excellent community of townhouse apartments in a warm inviting atmosphere. Amenities include a clubhouse, workout room, fenced in playground, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts. The property manager and maintenance are excellent. They are easy to reach and stay on top of any issues or concerns in quick timely responses. You can not beat Tiffany Terrace when it comes to apartment for rent. Tiffany Terrace is more than an apartment. Tiffany Terrace is a home.
A quite community. This is by far the nicest apartments I have lived in and we love it here. 1, 2, 3 bedrooms up and down stairs, 1 1/2 bathrooms, patios. They really take care of the apartments, grounds and tenants. Located beside Old Hickory Lake in a nice residential neighborhood. I HIGHLY recommend living here.
I lived at Tiffany Terrace Townhomes for 5 almost 6 years. It was my first place and I loved it! The manager (Lisa) is awesome! and was always avaliable to take care of any problems that I needed taken care of. If I ever needed to move back into an apartment I would definately move back to Tiffany Terrace Townhomes! I only left because I bought a condo that was going to be cheaper than renting, and I wanted to have my own assigned parking space.
