Property Ratings at Grandview Village I LLC
I moved here 8 months ago, and I'm not staying a second year. They increased the rent about 12%. While increasing the rent, they only had one person on the maintenance staff. I had maintenance tickets take months and tickets that were just closed without being resolved. One example is because the property doesn't change smoke alarm batteries before they start chirping. That means that there's a lot of garages on the property that have chirping smoke alarms. You can walk around and hear them. I live above a couple garages that aren't mine, and they didn't care about the chirping smoke alarms. I gave it a few weeks, then I opened a ticket to have them fix it. After a few more weeks, they closed the ticket and didn't replace the battery. I opened another ticket and they finally replaced the battery after over a month of it chirping. On top of that, I fell asleep one night and about 2 hours later another chirping smoke alarm, but this time in my own apartment. You can't silence it without having a spare 9-volt battery, so I couldn't get back to sleep. That same day they said that I was in violation of my lease by leaving my grill outside my door. I have my own space there, but they call it a common area (it's not). The drains in the apartment are very slow despite me opening tickets on it. The side of the sink with the garbage disposal keeps getting clogged even after they fixed it. The quality of the apartment overall isn't bad, but they care about superficial maintenance, like touching up door trim, more than actual maintenance. They even admitted that they're behaving like this because they had no units that weren't rented. They're seeing what their renters would put up with before moving out. After about 6 months, I had enough of the company that owns this place. It isn't the people that work here's fault. The company that owns this place is terrible. I don't like moving, but the way that they treat their renters is awful.

Wow... just wow. I’ve worked with many apartment complexes and management teams – in three different states - and I have to say that Grandview Village Apartments is heads and tails above the rest. First of all, it's hard to really even classify Grandview Village as an “apartment” complex. Grandview has so many floorplans to choose from and are easily condo quality with their high ceilings, beautiful windows, solid surface countertops, garages, and stunning exteriors. They offer quality and the comfortable feeling of home - and for no more than you would pay for other complexes (believe me, I checked LOL). Aside from the apartment homes themselves, Grandview Village Property Manager, Tanna C., has been wonderful and an absolute pleasure to work with. I’ve worked with Tanna from day-one and she has been incredibly helpful every step of the way. She walked us through the process, accommodated our requests for multiple walk-throughs, graciously assisted with our follow-up inquiries (I admit - I ask A LOT of questions), and greeted us with everything we needed… neatly packaged and ready to go upon arrival. Yay - move in day!!! I’m so glad to have found this place. It’s a super friendly community (not to mention animal-friendly), in an amazing (and walkable) location, and it has a great Property Manager and maintenance team who are knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. Seriously, what’s not to love? =)
