Following Iron Horse Boulevard, which runs through the center of the neighborhood, and following I-820 to the south, Iron Horse is a popular location that extends from the Iron Horse Golf Course, located in the southwestern section of the neighborhood. Iron Horse is about a mile from Downtown North Richland Hills.
Iron Horse provides plenty of open space and mature trees, all while being within minutes of shops, restaurants, and downtown. A large shopping plaza on the north side of the neighborhood provides an Albertsons, Tuesday Morning, CVS, and other popular stores. North Park provides a playground, a disc golf course, and ball fields. The popular North East Mall is a quick trip using I-820, and NRH2O Family Water Park is about three miles northeast.

The management team is useless. They rarely answer the phones and it takes multiple trips to the office to get an issue resolved. No security system anywhere and the front gate is left open half the time. Crime is bad here. The pool is always dirty or not working. Gym is incredibly small, like a 2 person limit. Do not expect your deposit back. You have to pay for trash valet and it's a coin toss as to whether they will pick it up or not. That means your hallway can be covered in dirty trash bags. If you're reading this review and questioning if I'm over exaggerating or not...I'm not. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from here.

If you're considering moving here, please think twice! Read my review. My wife and I loved this apartment complex when we first moved here. We have never been late on our rent and have always paid our bills DAYS early. Unfortunately, just a few days after renewing our lease the apartment complex was sold to new management. Since this new take over it has been problem after problem. We were hit with a late fee after paying our rent on time for the month of October, and after speaking with management it is yet to be removed. We were also charged incorrectly for the month of November, along with the late charged from October (which has yet to be removed) and there is no way of editing our rent amount to pay. Something which we were able to do with the old management company. We have talked to the office on three separate occasions about our billing charges and nothing seems to be getting done about them. We can't wait for our lease to be up to look for another apartment complex.

Maintenance does a cheap job when it comes to fixing anything, I have been without a shower for 3 days since nothing in this place works, bugs everywhere, cracks in the paint, their floors are poor poor quality, and the staff is rude once they have your lease signed and it’s no turning back…. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I enjoy living here, even though its right next to the highway I never really hear anything, also the walls are pretty sound proof so I never hear my neighbors unless theyre outside or something. Its a nice place to live. :)

Grayson Ridge is fantastic about resolving issues, and is quick to handle my submitted work orders. I truly have no complaints. I typically email them about issues, and my emails are replied to as soon as the office opens in the morning (as I work a night job, and typically email them late at night). Theyre quick, efficient, and very professional, as well as personable.

First experience living in an apartment was here at Grayson Ridge. My husband and I have lived here happily for 7 years. We have heard lots of apartment horror stories, but have experience none ourselves. Daniel and the maintenance staff are friendly and respond quickly. Everything is well kept up and taken care of. Office staff is friendly and helpful! Everyone works with you and treats you well. I would recommend any of my friends and family to live here! They do extra things to show they care. The other day the staff checked if my cat got out because they saw a cat outside that they didn't recognize. They know how much we love our cat and don't let him out , it was so sweet that they thought to make sure it wasn't our cat ! Plus this morning they did an awesome breakfast on the go , Tacos and donuts! It was yummy :)
I would recommend location, safety, cleanliness and nice staff.. I have told friends and others thus. The only problem I mention is small with high rent and rent hikes
I love the low noise and the very nice and professional staff and open parking. The apartment is really great but the problems with the plumbing systems that have yet to be fixed are a huge problem. Half of the time my water only gets warm and that?s in the shower. It doesn?t get warm at all in the kitchen and the toilet doesn?t flush unless it?s held down. That?s pretty unacceptable. I wish they would fix this for good.
I would recommend this community, it?s clean and it seems like they care to make it nice.

The maintenance staff is one of the best. They are smart, friendly, quick, courteous and professional. And the manager Amanda is also the best, with that combo you can't go wrong

Yes, very peaceful, Zero adverse incidents happened within 14 months period ( 07/2017 to 09/2017). Only noisy disturbances at road site apt.
Please don't rent an apartment in this complex, they will sweet talk you when renting the apartment but over charge you when you leave. I did not even make a hole on the wall, no kids and yet they charged me $500 for repairs

I would recommend because I can really count on the maintenance to always solve my maintenance needs. Also, I trust them completely in my apartment while I'm at work. I don't have to worry.
I would recommend this property based on the attentiveness of its management and its location. However, I would caution anyone about the apartment's inability to keep smells and insects out of the apartment.

My apartment is beautiful with great amenities, such as a pool year round. The management as always been easy to talk to and eager to assist in anything I need. However, they hired a new girl in the front. Anytime I call she does not seem happy in her position. She is very short and her demeanor comes off as bothered. Other than that I am satisfied with my living arrangements.

Now that management has changed, my views have changed completely. It seems like they care and want to make these apartments nicer and better to live in. The old overlooked alot of things. I recieve emails when the hot water is out.
The personnel here at Grayson Ridge have been good to me for the two years that I've been leasing in your complex.
Office staff is very nice. However I'm not fond of the $100 late fee. I would like to say that I've never had to pay late, but I'm busy and I work weekends. Even if it's just the morning of the 4th that you pay, there's still a one hundred dollar late fee. What could that $100 possibly be paying for? Inconvenience? Staff bonus? My apartment is okay. My kitchen ceiling began to leak and filled the light cover with so much water that it collapsed and broke on the ground. That was quite inconvenient and I should possibly collect a $100 fee? My apartment smelled like cat urine when I moved in and there were shed nails from the cat in my carpet, so the carpet was not cleaned, and there was a huge hole in my bedroom door on the back side. The dishwasher collects water and smells terrible. My neighbors are very shady and I haven't met any. The landscaping is very pretty and the pool is as well. The fitness room is surrounded by windows that everyone in the office and lobby can see through so I haven't exercised in there. Oh, and there's a leak in the guest bathroom above the shower, this place has to be crawling with mold by now.
Before moving I have looked at dozens of apartments and none have caught my eye like Grayson Ridge! The first thing I noticed was the beautiful landscaping; tons of lush trees and beautiful flowers everywhere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and my apartment is prefect! I have hardwood floors which is wonderful since I have kids and it's over 1000 sq. feet and gives us plenty of space!! This is a great quiet place to live and I love it!!
If at all possible, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX. It has been 3 months since my move out date and I have not received my deposit of $350 back. I have called multiple times only to be given the run around once again. I am so disappointed in the management here not only for their lack of customer service but also their unprofessionalism. I would NEVER rent from this complex or refer anyone I know. If anything, Steadfast, who is their corporate third party, should dump this complex because of the terrible reflection Grayson Ridge has had on them.
