Property Ratings at Greece Commons
Everything here sucks the neighbors make noises from 3am up until 9am we literally wake up early everyday and my gf is going to school right now so she gets like 4 hours of sleep everyday. The maintenance people never fix anything and have a terrible attitude when u complain to them they tell u there’s nothing they can do

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE. Maintenance and property management is absolutely horrible. They do not care about there residents. They don’t fix anything that’s needs to be fixed when you call the office everyone gives you an attitude. They tried to tow away my car all because I had a flat tire. Our ceiling leaks we have rodents running all throughout our kitchen and maintenance does nothing. Everyone who lives here is breaking there leases and moving out due to these issues. HONESTLY THIS PLACES NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

Jose, we are sorry to see that you have not had the positive experience that we seek to provide all our residents and guests. We would like the opportunity to speak with you personally and ask that you contact us directly when you have time. dhyde@solomonorg.com | 585-865-9595
This property is poorly maintained. They take better care of the outside of this pace than they do on the inside. This place has mice, German roaches, & bed bugs. It’s disgusting! When you call to tell them about it they have such a nasty attitude as if you’re bothering them. It’s ridiculous! I have spoke to several residents while I lived here and they all complain about the same thing. I’ve seen people move out of there before their least was even up. I lived there in 2019 & I know people who live there now trying to leave due to infestation. It’s not worth the money. Go else where!
I’ve lived in this complex for 10 years and I’m finally leaving… this neighborhood has taken a turn for the absolute worse.. down to where now rats are now becoming a problem!! The tenants they have moving in are just nasty and with the shootings that have occurred in recent months.. I’m all set!!
Worst complex ever!!!!! Management sucks including the property manager. My neighbor banged on my floor for 3 months and they did absolutely nothing! The management team ignored me for months and refused to allow me to move. Don't waste your money. We are now trapped in a lease. Our washer machine has literal mold in it when we moved in as well.
They’ll lose your rent money, and attempt to evict you after! They have rats! Take forever to address any issues! Staff are pretty useless to.
Between children screeching obseneties at all hours of the day and beyond unprofessional and discurteous office staff I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. On the contrary I plan to make it a point to warn anyone I can to stay away. If you do have to stay here be prepared that if you need to call and file a complaint or ask a question you may end up speaking with someone who will insult or make degrading comments to you rather than act like a payed professional. Or an adult at that matter. I have been hung up on before while calling about a warning left for me stating I violated a term of the lease that they decided they could add in verbally after the fact. The ratings on the internet are generous at best.
It's a rip off the price you pay for an apartment with no good features , the office associates are very rude ! They add fees to everything ! very unorganized with paper work . security work 20 hours a week only for insurance purposes . Maintenance is lazy . The apartments aren't cleaned properly after a tenant moved out
Me and my girlfriend are going back to school and we got a 1 bedroom at the Greece commons and absolutely love it it's nice and just perfect for the two of us thanks a lot apartments.com we love the apartment you helped us find
Greece Commons is an okay complex based on where you live in the neighborhood. The landlords even tell you which building is the best to live in. I lived here for a year and I'm ready to move. After about 6-8 months, doors start falling off of cabinets, water spots show on the walls and closet doors come off their tracks. It was a quiet place when we first moved in and now it just seems to get worse. I enjoyed my very first apartment after college but all good things must come to an end. As far as the staff, they are unorganized and need to communicate better with each other and their tenants. When I needed a simple form to be signed it took 3 weeks and 4 different stories from different staff members to finally tell me they didn't complete the form and needed another copy. You have to be persistent with the staff and maintenance. Keep EVERYTHING! And write all complaints. I used email to have a time stamp and date on every thing I ever had to communicate with the staff. In the winter the heat didn't work at all. My neighbor had to leave her apartment because it was too cold for her children to stay. Summer...air didn't work for 1.5 months. Staff is nice on the surface but very unorganized and in need of better communication. Once you move in they accommodate you for a couple of months, then your on your own. Maintenance was supposed to fix my kitchen cabinet and put it on backwards and left. They were supposed to fix my heat in the winter. They came in turned the thermostat a couple times, went downstairs to check the boiler, then came back to tell me the guy who knows how to fix it is across town and will stop by later. It's August of the next year and mother guy has yet to show up. This is an okay place to live but not longer than a year.
They show you one apartment and tell you its the layout you are actually paying rent for then give you a lower end model. I can't tell you how many plumbing and electrical issues there are. Half the outlets do not work at and all the others its a 50/50 shot. There are cable hookups in all the rooms but it only works in the living room. Toilet was jimmied to flush and the water pressure is atrocious. Not to mention the people who rent here are constantly fighting and slamming doors. Every day you see police and an ambulance here. Its just a shame I had no one to warn me before I moved across state and signed my lease hopefully I can warn someone else. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
The apartment complex is located in a good neighborhood and it is very close to one of the best malls in Rochester, NY. It is also near a nice commercial road. However, the features of the apartment are not the best. The kitchen is extremely small and does not even have a counter to cut or place the washed dishes at. The air conditioner, besides it does not works it is located in the living room and it is a room unit and not a central air conditioner as it should be for the whole apartment. The people who lives around the complex are not always considerate. They smoke inside the building, they walk with the cigarettes in the stair case and the kids are loud around the complex and has no discipline. Late at night people has been exploding fireworks and teens have been screaming outside around 1am in the morning.
I recently had moved it this apartment. It's really nice little area. Very open. I have a one bedroom apartment, it's very nice and on top of that if anything breaks or messes up,you can go online and request someone to fix it. They have a online page where you can pay rent!
Nice place, clean apartments. I had to rent site unseen, since I moved here for school, but I don't regret choosing it. The only gripe I have is the complex gym is very poorly maintained, and the equipment is very old. Other than that, it's a good place to live.
The apartments are fairly nice, it is nice and quiet most of the time. You have your normal day to day loudness in the morning and night but that's about it. Would definitely recommended an apartment here.
