From its colorful murals to its fantastic river views, Downtown Vancouver stands out as a fun-filled, trendy neighborhood directly across the Columbia River from Portland. The heart of downtown, Esther Short Park, is the Northwest’s oldest park, established in 1853. Like the rest of Downtown Vancouver, this isn’t your typical park – it includes an interactive fountain, a rose garden, and the Salmon Run Bell Tower. The park is the location of a variety of city festivals and events, including the Vancouver Farmers Market and the Vancouver Brewfest.
Explore Vancouver’s frontier past at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and at the Clark County Historical Museum. Downtown Vancouver offers a variety of shops and restaurants along the very walkable Main Street, including local favorites like Thai Orchid, Brickhouse Bar, and Compass Coffee. Catch a movie at the art deco Kiggins Theatre, first built in 1936, or see a live performance at the Magenta Theater.

Property Ratings at Green Leaf Uptown
I’ve lived here almost 2 years. I should have moved to a new building instead of changing units. I thought the person above me was just extremely inconsiderate but it’s the entire building and the construction. It is poorly constructed and has terrible noise. Normal walking from the unit above vibrates the entire ceiling with pounding. There is a high turnover rate for a reason. I’d recommend elsewhere unless you’re desperate.

We are very disappointed to see that your experience has not been what we would have wanted it to have been. We would be more than willing to speak with you about any issues hindering you from enjoying your time here. We have great confidence in our team and their ability to assist you and welcome you to reach out to us at your earliest convenience.
Awful Management. Jeff is literally the worst person, I've met in Washington. Tons of Homeless. Dog poop and pee never gets picked up. Maintenance is slow. Walls are thin, so you hear everything. The appliances suck. No microwave in units. I could go on.
I recently had the opportunity to visit my son at his apartment in this complex what a beautiful apartment building. The amenities are fantastic and the location is perfect. Jeff and sunshine in the office are a pleasure and so helpful they were able to print my boaring pass suggest restaurants . So convenient to all.
Out of all of the apartments that I have ever lived in (TX, CA, CO and now WA), this is by far my favorite apartments to live in!!! What makes The Uptown so wonderful is definitely the staff. The leasing team is amazing. At my previous apartments it seemed that the leasing staff was initially kind and helpful . . . until you sealed your fate by signing that lease and were contractually bound to live there! Once the ink was dry, the leasing staff at my previous apartments couldn't give a rat's behind about you nor did they bother treating you well. My previous landlords didn't seem to care about customer retention but solely on new business. Being a sales professional myself, that is a flawed business strategy! But this is NOT the case with the staff at The Uptown!!! Sunshine, Jeffrey and Jordan treat you like family and are ALWAYS professional, friendly and competent with their duties. Senor Gonzalo and Miss Sydney do an EXCELLENT job at keeping the building in functioning and clean order. Honestly, I am amazed by how clean, sanitary, orderly and well-maintained the apartment grounds are! The whole staff goes above and beyond to make every single resident feel at home. It is obvious that the staff takes pride in their jobs! Anybody can merely be friendly but The Uptown staff is not only friendly but intelligent, experienced and incredibly competent and that is what makes a machine run smoothly and efficiently! Greystar is lucky to have these 5 assets. Greystar obviously put their 1st String Team in charge at The Uptown. These guys are definitely not amateurs ladies and gentlemen! I should know because apparently all of the amateurs work at the apartment complexes that I used to live in, back in CO, TX and CA! Regards, - Mr. Fritz R. -

Mr. Fritz - you have no idea how much your kind words meant to the entire Uptown team! We love to see your smiling face every day. You are the reason why we are able to work so hard and laugh through out the day. Thank you so much.
I love living here. The apartments are beautiful, as are the common areas!! I can’t say enough good things about the leasing team. I moved to The Uptown during a very difficult time in my life. Throughout the leasing and move-in process the staff were all so incredibly kind, gracious and thoughtful and, with a broken heart in tow, I can tell you their kindness made all the difference. I’ve lived here a few months now and continue to be in awe of the staff and maintenance team’s willingness to go the extra mile. Just last night, they once again came to the rescue. I was already running super late when I realized I needed to print my tickets for the symphony but, of course, I had yet to set up my printer. The leasing team had my back, they quickly printed my tickets and sent me on my way. I’m grateful to live in a place that not only has beautiful surroundings but also beautifully kind human beings on staff. Many thanks for all that you do. Tiffney D.

I DO NOT recommend this apartment community. It's been 8 months of a smoke filled apartment and a manager that refuses to enforce the smoke free building. A management team that consistently makes excuses, condones the smoking and looked the other way when the smoker disabled a smoke detector. It's winter now and we have NO HEAT because running our heating unit means MORE secondhand smoke. Not to mention the 2 near misses in the parking garage because management allows another tenant to drive recklessly. Management chooses which tenants to support & which tenants to label liars. This is an upscale, EXPENSIVE apartment complex that the current management is running into the ground.

Thank you for taking time to review our beautiful community. We are a smoke free community and have zero tolerance for any one violating that rule. While we have no proof that your neighbor is smoking, we have taken steps to request if there is any smoking that it stop immediately. We take our residents? concerns very seriously and act upon every one. Due to the privacy clause in our lease, we aren?t able to tell each resident every step we take regarding potential violators and violations. As always, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
