I've lived at Green Trails for 20 years and I stay here because the property is always well maintained, it's safe and it feels like home. As I talk to other residents it''s not unusual to hear that they have lived here many years too. I've looked at other properties and none feel as good as Green Trails.

I was in a first-floor studio apartment for 3+ years. Pros: -Nice location near downtown Naperville. -Good walking paths/parks within walking distance of the apartment. Cons: - Noise from neighbors: Thin walls and floors; you hear people talking in other apartments, and blasting heavy bass music at all hours. Neighbors would open their balcony door all day, and it would shake the apartment, it made a lot of noise. - Tobacco smoke: I was in a smoking building, and I had a neighbor who loved to smoke near my windows for hours every day, that filled my apartment with his smoke. - Sewage gas: During the summer, sewer gas would come up from the drains in the utility closet, the washer/dryer drain, and it would stink up the apartment. Maintenance was never able to fully fix this issue. - Sewage Backup: The kitchen sink would often back up with smelly sewage, and a couple of times it overflowed on my counters. - Loud HVAC: It was so loud, I found myself turning it off, and just tolerating hotter or colder temps because it was so uncomfortably loud. I had to sleep with ear plugs, because of how loud it was. I can’t count how many times it woke me up, if one or both of the ear plugs fell out. - Water leak: I had an upstairs neighbor’s water heater break, and the water leaked into my utility closet and made water get into the hallway. -Rodent and bug infestation: Lots of Spiders, Silverfish, and a couple of mice. -Rude neighbors: When I asked my neighbor to stop smoking near my windows him and his wife insulted me and said he would smoke more. -Lights flickering: The lights flickered throughout the apartment for hours almost every day, and maintenance never were able to solve this issue. -Mold: Mushrooms were growing in the molding of my bathroom. Maintenance came out and sprayed it with some chemical to fix that issue.

We have been renting for a couple weeks now. The leasing office was great and very helpful. The process was very quick between the application and receiving the keys. So far, we love the area and love our unit. The private entrance to our unit is a huge plus! No complaints so far.

For the price I would hope for a lot more of a quality living experience. The units are great and the facilities are ok but things are cheap in all the wrong places. I have never had to call maintenance so many times living anywhere else. From the plastic bathroom tubs that creak when you step in them, to the kitchen faucet that has leaked out of the handle onto the counter and onto the floor without my knowing until water is everywhere. To the air leaks around the windows and doors that let flies and other insects in, leak air in the Summer and leak heat in the winter. Plastic blinds that crumble over time that need constant replacing or in the case of the horizontal blinds just break and look tacky for the remainder of your time here. One would also hope for the luxury of not having sewage back up into your kitchen annually or or more. If Green Trails was a used car it would be deemed a lemon for certain. Brand new shiny paint job with a broken engine and worn out suspension

Green Trails is an amazing place to live. Friendly community, great office staff, and attentive maintenence staff that always go above and beyond for tenants. The pool, gym, office, and clubhouse area are a huge plus to this place and really make the difference. Having access to a gym during the hours we need it is great. Alot of flexibility. Definitely recommend this community to those searching!

Just moved in 10 days ago, and I feel safe here. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. The leasing office workers are very helpful and friendly. I had a couple of visitors asking questions, and warmly welcomed me and answered my questions. Chicago gets cold soon, and I am only a little concerned about the heating here. It feels not as warm even I set the heating to 70 degrees. I do not know whether I should raise up the temperature. The van is a little noisy. Overall, satisfied.

Apartment complex is terrible. Not enough amenities compared to others in the area. Management needs some help. Apartments are mediocre for luxury. Since the income requirements have gone down this place has went from entry level luxury to just an apartment complex.

Green Trails is a nice, peaceful place to live. It is apparent that they put a lot of effort into making everything comfortable for their residents, as well as taking great care into providing anything they may need.

Not having lived the apartment life for nearly 3 decades, we are pleasantly surprised at how quiet and well maintained the complex is. Even though our stay is quite short, I would recommend Green Trails to anyone looking for an apartment rental. Its really a very nice area! And, most important to us, its pet friendly!!

The maintenance team and staff members at Green Trails apartments are always there when I need them for any issue, I've been here for some time now and I have yet to experience bad service, all through the coronavirus I still had packages being delivered to the office so I had a great concern that I might not get my packages because of the social distancing we could not go to the office, but they made sure my packages got to me on time, I greatly appreciate that, thank you, Greentrails staff.

I have lived at Green Trails Apartments in Lisle for almost 3 years and I love it. I have never had any problems related to security or maintenance issues. The office staff and managers are so helpful and caring. They went above and beyond for their residents during the COVID-19 situation. I want to make this my permanent home.
