Property Ratings at Greenbriar Apartment Homes
03/30/2021 I lived at Greenbriar for 5 years and went through 3 different owners because anyone who bought it realized it was so run down it was a money pit. The first few owners were decent and accommodated the best they could, but the current owners/management couple are rude, vindictive, petulant snakes. You are nothing more than a dollar sign to them. You wouldn't belive what these people put us through, I mean there could be a documentary about it. Long story short stay far away! The complex is flooded with roaches btw. Disgusting! Seriously just find something else!
There aren't many apartments available in El Campo, and none that are new. Greenbriar is probably the best of a bad lot. When I asked the chamber of commerce to recommend an apartment in El Campo several years ago, the lady hesitated, then said that Greenbriar "might be a little cleaner than some of the others"; not exactly a ringing endorsement. They don't really have to do anything special to attract renters, and they don't do ANYTHING. Work requests are often ignored; sometimes, it takes months to get work done. There is rarely anyone available in their office during business hours, though that has improved a very little bit in the last few months. The people are nice, the area is nice, it's just a really crummy complex. If you can afford to commute, I would recommend it; that's what I may look into.
