Property Ratings at Greenbriar Club Apartments
This property has an issue with roaches, not regular ones but BIG GIGANTIC roaches. I never had to live in a place with roaches until now and I'm forced to stay here until my lease is up. They will be in your apartment, in the hallways, and outside!!! They also have plumbing issues and will try to blame the issues on the resident that's only been with them a couple of months... how is that possible? Their maintenance men will come into an apartment and leave trash from whatever they fixed and they don't leave a note letting you know they were in the apartment! The whole place is unprofessional including the property manager Laury! Very unprofessional and talks to residents as if they're her children. Save yourself the headache.
If you don't mind living in an apartment community where you have mental health people yelling and screaming all hours of day and night, then this is the place for you! If you don't mind the office where they receive services is on site too, the ln this is the place for you! If you like lying, attitudinal property management, then this is the place for you! If you dont mind living in outdated apartments, this is home! I lived here for quite a while and saw the rapid decline in professionalism amongst management staff (rude and liars), property upkeep (dogs just "go") and common areas (trash). I had to get out and quick!
The only saving grace of this place is that its cheap. The neighbors however are loud and many constantly smoke weed which stinks up the whole building. Management seems to not care. Also, you will have to deal random fire alarms once in a while in the middle if the night. Management will claim it's from a legitimate fire, however it's hard to believe people are causing fires 4 times in one night. All packages have to go through the leasing office because there were so many instances of people stealing packages. If you're ok with all of that, this place is fine.
We lived here for a year. Their apartments have leakage problem and kitchen and bathroom of my apartment leaked around 10 to 12 times in this one year. The maintenance guys are not helpful and they will come and see your apartment leaking and will leave without cleaning them up. Now coming to property manager, she is never available and rude. When we left the apartment the maintenance supervisor visited and said everything is ok. But still they deducted max amount of money from security deposit by saying that carpet had marks from walking. Moreover when asked they could not produce proper documents that they have replaced the carpet.
I have live in here for more than a year, the price is reasonable, huge space and it is quiet! Good place to live.
Mice are all over the place, in the kitchen and bathrooms. Roaches were coming up my arms when I was sleeping. I am having horrible experience ever.
Office manager is not friendly...she has an attitude...the place is dirty...mice everywhere in kitchen and living room...no solution...this place is due for renovations...old fashion... Stay out of it...
So dirty and unprofessional stuff and maintenance is not well trained . No snow removal and the mud puddle is every where. Stay out of it. No one will answer your call. The fire alarm goes off everyday in the middle of the night.
Greenbriar has amazing apartment complexes at cheap rates. The apartments are BIG and quiet. After I moved in I recommended 2 of my friends and they also moved into the same apartment on my recommendation.
I'm a current grad student who needed a place in the city near my school. I found that in Greenbriar Club Apartments. The rent is affordable and it is within walking distance to several shopping centers and City Line Avenue. It is an older complex and the staff has been friendly and very fast to respond to problems. With that being said, there has been several issues including my apartment smelling like the previous tenants cat (which took weeks to get rid of) and various utility problems. While these issues were solved fast, I can't help but feel the entire place is due for renovations before more issues arise.
I have lived here for 3 years. The maintainence staff are good and fix things very quickly very often the next day. For the most part it is very quiet, however sometimes people walking through the courtyard can be noisy. The office staff seems to change a lot but I have never had a problem with any of them. I know this is big for the city, I have only seen one bug the 3 years I have lived here. The pool and grounds are kept quite nice. There is a lot of parking, and usually always find a spot.
Office manager is NEVER there... and the front desk (asian woman) is not friendly at all, never smiles, has an attitude.. April comes and I couldn't use my AC because they don't turn on the AC until late May...they are also fast to turn the AC off at the end of summer but its still hot out!
Been here for almost a year know, love my studio!! so far it's the biggest I've seen. Neighbors are great, never hear from them LOL always find close parking! Only down side, night guards and the whole setup needs some work...
The Good: Apartments are nice and spacious... noise is low (and I play my music loud sometimes)... neighbors are friendly... office staff are courteous (Anitta, Magdalena and Agatha)... Maintenance is also very friendly (Robert and Tom)... that's how long I've been here and how friendly they are you get to know the people working here... the grounds are nice, the apartments are nice, the neighbors are nice and the staff are nice... The Bad: they are a bit pricey now... the rent used to include "all" utilities... now you have to pay for electric (for someone new coming in that's probably not a big deal, but for a long time tenant you're going from all-inclusive to having to pay for electric)... as nice as the maintenance guys are, sometimes it takes a while to get to your requests (they seem to be a bit understaffed at the moment, I believe they lost a couple people and haven't replaced them yet)... there's no gym room (this is the 1st apartment complex I've been to that has not offered one) Summary: the good outweighs the bad by a lot... this place is definitely worth moving to.. you will not be disappointed :)
