Property Ratings at Greenbriar Terrace
We just moved in this month. The place is quiet and pleasant with big rooms. It is a good place compared with my previous place. If you are looking apartment, Greenbriar Terrace Apartment is a right one. My review is based on the short time I have living in the apartment. However, should anything changes, I will update my review.
The area is okay, there's been shootings and someone was literally hit by a car outside a few months ago, it's right inside of Potter county, the manager is nice and the maintenance is decently quick, sometimes they get swamped I understand so I won't complain a lot about that. They do come spray for bugs which In my opinion hurts more so than help, as there are roaches that come out when the area is sprayed. Most of the people living here keep to themselves while others however do not. The apartment is close to places to eat, and grocery store as well. Occasionally it's hard to find somewhere to park, but that's dependent on the time of day. The night life is kind of interesting, there's a large alley behind the building that all sorts of people walk through, digging through the dumpsters, staring at the fence, talking to themself or screaming erratically and sitting on discarded furniture are some of the things I've witnessed, I tend to just ignore them. My stove-top burns hotter on a setting of 2 than it does on high which is odd and the dish washer really doesn't clean anything. When I first moved in for a few months there was a naked guy who would roam around the courtyard and down the streets. Occasionally you'll find a homeless person outside sitting in your furniture smoking a cigarette also. The lawn-care is decent, whenever the grass get's around 8-10 inches high they'll come mow it. All-in-all, it's not the absolute worst place to live, but it's not the best either it's a happy medium, I lived here for 3 years.
Greenbriar Terrace Apts. is literally 1/2 block into Potter County and about 3 blocks from Georgia Street in Amarillo, Texas. i have been living here 7 1/2 years and anticipate NO moves in the future. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, neighbors have been friendly, but kind of 'to theirselves', which is how i like it, and i can only think of 2 or 3 altercations , which were caused by persons no longer here. Parking is great, some of it covered, the nighttime lighting is excellent, and personally i have had no difficulties here. Local management is friendly, efficient, communicative, and reasonable. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable, considerate(of indoor pets, too!), and will work the odd/late hours when needed. They did an excellent job on my new tub surround! Schools, churches, and tons of shopping are literally within blocks. My oversize one bedroom is huge, reasonably priced, and includes some free cable, bills paid except electric, and all the high pressure hot water you could possibly need. i run central air all the time for air circulation and my bill averages only $70-80 per month. i rarely need the AC part on and i think i used the HEAT function twice this past winter. As i said, i am happily well settled.
The Managers are Awesome.. Nice environment/clean mantaince is prompt.. planning on signing my lease for another year ??
I love my apt. Its a cozy feeling when i come home from work. Bigger then most 1 bedrooms i have lived in. Management is very understanding and friendly. I would recommend my apartments.

The apartment is ok need alot of work done to it Barry is a cool guy I been behind on rent and he let me get paid up on rent I like it here but wish me and my girls had a house a lot of things have happened in the last couple of months I just need help with my light I have lost a lot of things and now I am just scared I just wish I can get a little help I don't know what to do I'm a single mother with two kids if you can find it in your heart just to help me out a little I would appreciate it thank you
