I lived there 12 years ago I was going to lease again but for some reason they wanted to know why it showed up on credit I did luve there 12 years ago. I have called numerous times they will not call back this is totally asinine that 12 years ago I lived there they want to know why I did? I was never late but since it showed up they want to find my file they said 4 days later they won't return my calls totally unprofessional
You could be the perfect tenant, and the office and their company will not care. We did our best to communicate with the front office when we had an issue or a situation came up, but very rarely did something come out of it. I will give credit that, for the most part, the ladies at the front office were nice (except during this last part where we tried to argue about our move-out costs). In our 5 years living there, we had to deal with: problematic neighbors/guests, our vehicles being egged by surrounding neighbors (outside of apartment complex), fallen trees laying there for months, having only 1 washer/dryer for the entire apartment complex, water leaking through our windows, work orders being delayed or not even addressed by Maintenance, the hassle of always having to pay everything with a money order or check, the office being closed even during their posted work hours, people breaking into cars parked within the complex, constantly changing security firms and not being notified, office communicating via a physical letter on your door instead of phone call or email, and cockroaches everywhere. Moving out was more trouble than it's worth. We wound up paying over $4000 to cancel our contract, which included paying the current month and following month's rent, and whatever alleged "damages" the office saw. The fact that we lived there for 5 years did not mean anything in regards to "normal wear and tear". Not only did they keep our $1000 deposit, but they also charged us an additional $870 to completely replace carpet, floor, and countertops, and to perform "heavy cleaning". It's ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to live. This place should be your absolute last resort, and only if you're willing to put up with a lot of frustration and feeling of insecurity.
Horrible experience living here. Management are a nightmare to deal with. Horrible attitude and unorganized. They say they accept pets but get angry when you tell them you have one. Apartments are horrible, don’t let the fresh coat of paint fool you. And Don’t expect to get any security deposit back.

Manager has attitude that no one wants to deal with her. She has anger and self interest issue while treating everyone unprofessionally with no respect. When it comes to take action for maintenance and repair she just promises which is hallow promises. She always justify that this old building and should not expect too much.
Greenbriar has been a fantastic community to call home for the past year. As I continue my lease, I have received many upgrades to my apartment ranging from bathroom and kitchen fixtures to additional A/C units. The management on site is always walking around inspecting the grounds ensuring that everything is at a high standard. As rent continues to rise across the valley, Greenbriar did not increase my rent on my new lease. They go above and beyond to keep the grounds looking fantastic, the maintenance team and management are awesome! I recommend Greenbriar to all!
People try to break in your apartment on a weekly basis the staff is extremely rude once your in the apartment. And they do not care about homeless people who throw trash all over the place.
Where do I start? First of all, I now feel more comfortable about describing what I experienced while living here since I no longer live there. My water heater was out for two days not the same day fixed per management in response to eterno. They had roofing repairs for over three months, weather did not cause a big delay. They placed 2x4's under my bumper and debris piles next to my car for months. I still haven't gotten any bills or receipts for what they took out of my deposit (almost 2 months) and they are claiming I owed 3 months utilities even though the company bills one month in the rears and I paid the same amount every month. I will try to add pictures of the sewage issues I had to deal with while living there. Hardly an impeccable garden style community.
It's not so great! It looks decent and staff seem friendly but really just a show in the beginning that convinced me to sign a lease with them. They had random inspections of the apartment that made me feel uncomfortable! I asked management if I could use my barbecue pit they said "Yes" the next day a paper taped to my door said it was a violation.. Also I paid $50 for a gym deposit and when my lease was over they kept my $500 deposit and the $50 gym deposit!!!!!!! THEY DON'T CARE! Therefore no I do not recommend them!
As a tenant I make sure I take care of my apartment as my own. I dont hang any pictures, I dont make any scratches on the wall. I've always get about half of my deposit upon move out. Until I stayed on this apartment complex. Upon move in, there was orange stain on the kitchen floor and dents on the doors which were noted on the checklist. Upon move out, they charge me $ 200 ( Trash out x 8hrs ) which is rediculous and false charge, HVY apartment clean $150, Regular apartment clean $120 and paint $223.90. Take note, no markings on the walls, no pictures hanged, we cleaned the doors,kitchen and bathroom. We vacuum the carpet 2-3/week as we are a bit anal about cleanliness, however, we are rediculously charged a total of $693.90 upon move-out!!!!!!! California Law states that a normal wear and tear couldnt be charged to the tenants. I believed I was being treated unfairly. I tried to reach out to the manager, she doesnt talk to me, she passed me to the regional head which knew nothing about the situation and stood her ground on those charges. Apart of not able to get my deposit, I was charged more!!!!! SO BEWARE OF THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!! GO SOMEWHERE!!!
I was a first time college student and this was the only apartment place that contacted me back so I had no choice but to go with them. They were a big mistake. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a shitty apartment a dishwasher that admitted rust when you washed the dishes and ruined my dish wear it and cockroaches that they called water bugs that came in my apartment. They sprayed once but they never went away. The lady's in the front were nice but nothing ever got done. When I left I was over charged $140 for 4 days of rent that I had already paid with my previous months rent. On top of that they have kept packages that I needed, when I was moving out they said they would sent them back but I have not seen a single one!! When I called the woman was snarky and unprofessional and then hung up on me after I asked to speak to a manger once before I even started the conversation and then after. I was afraid to live here because of the reviews and the reviews are right. I overpaid, was overcharged. If you have a choice run away from these apartments as fast as you can. An d please take the review to heart because they are true!!!
I think these are nice apartments. The apartment took longer than was expected but they worked fast to get me and my daughter's moved in. They were less caring once we moved in though. My air conditioner broke and it was replaced right away. There is a no tolerance with nice and trouble which is wonderful and the grounds are always kept super clean. I would highly recommend these apartments.
