Property Ratings at Greenbrook Apartments
After living in milwaukee, for many years, here is like heaven. it's so calm, peaceful, I can now feel safe walking outside. Our unit is great. We haven't really encountered major problems with our unit. Just small issues that were fixed either the same day or the next day. we haven't had any issues with management. if only we had a 3 bedroom apartment here, I would give it 10 stars. Overall, my family and I enjoy living here.
Has zero customer service skills. Is rude, doesn't listen and doesn't communicate well. Neighbors are nice, pool is well kept. Don't expect snow removal- the expect you to do it yourself- even if your temporarily disabled.
I really enjoyed my time here. The units are nice, the noise level is so low you hardly ever hear anyone, and management is really kind and understanding. As another review stated, parking is an issue. People do like to park without stickers in assigned lots. There are no consequences, which defeats the purpose of having stickers. Laundry is very overpriced, I recommend taking your clothes elsewhere if you are able. But I do like this apartment, and I think it's a great place to live.
Parking is a huge issue. People constantly parking w/o a sticker. They don’t have assigned parking and this is definitely a problem. Cabinetry is outdated and slowly falling apart. They also have baseboard heating with no wall thermostat. The blinds constantly fall apart or break when you try to close them. They have one washer/dryer for three floors. The landscaping however is pretty meticulous.
We are about to sign our 2nd lease. Grounds and buildings are spotless and kept up. Our building is quiet and on top of everything smoke free. Staff are responsive and know you by first name. Our unit is recently remodeled and it is beautiful. With Heat, Gas, Water, and Trash included and affordable rent we are very happy to continue living here until we are ready to buy a house.
My boyfriend and I have been looking to move into an apartment for awhile now. Greenbrook Apartments made it easy for us to set up an appointment to tour a one-bedroom. When we toured, our guide was willing and able to answer all of our questions. We fell in love the moment we walked through the door! It looks just like the pictures. My favorite part is the kitchen window that looks into the living room. We picked up an application before leaving and are hoping to move in very soon!
I've been trying to get to see the place for over a month but I guess my mistake was that I started off by being honest with them on the requests by telling them that I was in a wheelchair and had a Medical Service Dog from there on it seemed as if they kept putting me off oh I'm sorry you just missed the one apartment for wheelchair access we had suddenly come available even though I had them put me on the list to call me back as soon as one became available seems like the only time they talk to me is when I put in a new request which is sad cuz otherwise the place would fit us nicely and for that I regret having to write this if your not handicapped its a beautiful place with a nice neighborhood to live in . Sincerely, Shawn
Decent size and quality for value of rent. Exterior grounds appear to be well maintained although once inside one can easily notice it's outdated compared to other apartments. I think management group may have the theory of "if it's not broke don't fix it" and even then it's to a bare minimum. Newer carpeting and up-to-date painting, but lack of details were put in. Cabinetry and appliances are outdated as well. I still would recommend to others for the decent value.
NO elevators but they have 3 floors? What a heck of way to welcome you. By Carrying furtiure up 3 floors thru narrow stairs and hallways. Sorry at my age 2 floors is more than i can handle. Or any of my friends and family. To Hire some one to do that will cost $$.
the baseboard heating is out of date.why dont they fix it?
I lived here for two years starting August 2008 to 2010. This place was a sure upgrade from the dorm life. Heat, water, and cooking gas is included in the rent. My floorplan was great and I loved the location. After 2 years working in IL im back in WI and back in Greenbrook. For me everything is good expect parking. Not enough visitor parking once night falls.
