Greene Crossing

It has not been a bad experience living here things have definitely turned around for the better since new management took over. Maintenance has been really on top of things also.

I have been staying in this apartment for the last 3 year and have extended the lease for next year. Awesome place. near to my class and awesome view, neat and clean place,

Not a great experience so far. I have been staying here for 2 years now but always had issues such as internet, service requests, and appliance always seem to stop working. Also, there has been a shooting inside the apartment complex which is terrible and the authorities have done nothing whatsoever to prevent it.

Great, I love it here. The staff is very helpful and the free coffee helps me through the week. The only thing I would add is more bingo nights.

I really like that this apartment complex because they do a lot of things for us to do like grocery bingo. They also provide food in the club room sometimes which is really nice.

The pool and gym areas are lovely, though some of the equipment has been broken for while. Apartments are nice and spacious with great amenities.

I love my apartment! Maintenance is quick and efficient. There are so many awesome amenities like the pool and the gym. Most of my packages get delivered right to my door. Our building always surprises us with snacks and giveaways!

Would be much better if the doors were more secure and parking garage had cameras. Hit and runs and break ins seem to be a constant occurrence here.

Perfect location in Columbia. Great amenities. Great staff. Great community. Will be staying here again next year and I highly recommend to others.

Hi! The physical building is nice and the location is great, but management and maintenance are HORRIBLE. Our Wi-Fi is CONSTANTLY out, and the office never responds to any of our emergency maintenance situations. We had bees INSIDE our apartment for 2 days and we were told it wasn’t urgent. My power was also out for 1 week and they were ignoring me and not coming to fix it. We’ve had soooo many issues!! Do not live here. There are so many better options.

Read these reviews carefully, it seems some may have been written with a little help from management. We have personal experience dealing with Greene Crossing and believe me it has not been pleasant. Maintenance was never performed as promised, fees were changed after move in. Overall a bad place, there are many places, look elsewhere...

First of all the train tracks are directly next to the building with no sound barrier and the drivers do not care at all that it is a residential area. So whenever it goes by they WILL honk their horn as loud as possible and it WILL wake you up EVERY SINGLE TIME. The annex is treated like trash. They do a pitiful job maintaining the interior of the hallways. If something gets damaged it usually takes months or sometimes even longer to be repaired. Also relating to the annex they will tell you that there is a printer there you can use to print out your schoolwork. How nice right?!?! NO. Half of the time it does not connect to the computer (showing that it is not set up correctly), and when you get lucky and can connect to it you find out that they never refill the paper. EVER. They also rarely fill up the ink. So don't rely on that for printing out your papers. Its still included in your bill though as a courtesy. Your welcome. Third they are greedy scammers. In your contract it states that you are liable for "damages minus normal ware and tare". This statement has absolutely no meaning to them. They will charge you for any mark in the room whatsoever, no matter how minor or insignificant. I was billed $45 for a "Partial paint bedroom". They sent me two pictures as evidence. The evidence showed a damage was so insignificant that the camera could barely pick up. So they said that they had to repaint a portion of the room. When they did that, the painter did not bother covering the floor to avoid paint splashes, so paint got on the floor. I was apparently liable for that too.

NEVER LIVE HERE. It's the biggest scam for college kids. The place is absolutely disgusting all the time. Things are constantly being broken and they don't bother fixing it until someone complains multiple times. They completely rip you off. It honestly doesn't even deserve 1 star. Also be prepared to wake up at all hours of the night to the trains because of the paper-thin walls.

Wow! What an experience. I came here to tour with my daughter and I was more than shocked by what "student living" means these days. The staff was so friendly and made me feel confident that any issue my daughter may have could be easily handled by the office or on-site maintenance. The property itself and all it's amenities are nothing short of breathtaking, I am so jealous, I may even need to get a room here. I have not yet seen her specific room, but the beautiful model unit showed us more than enough to leave us feeling like hers would meet her high standards of living. Thank so much for making my visit wonderful and taking care of my family, we can't wait to move in!

Moved into Greene Crossing when it first opened in 2016 and quickly resigned to stay for the 2017-2018 school year too! My roommates and I love the modern kitchen and bathrooms, massive closets and well-maintained appliances and furnishings. We have had bit of a hard time with the washer/dryer (since its eco-friendly it has a harder time keeping up with 3 roommates' laundry needs) but overall it's been a good experience with the maintenance responding to service requests. We recommend it to all of our friends!

Although I do not live at Greene Crossing, I do have a friend which does and I always enjoy my time visiting. Recently, I was really impressed with the appearance of the grounds and the pool area is beautiful and wow the Club House is so inviting. Fun is always going on from Easter Egg Hunts, Cinco de Maya, July 4th, Christmas!! The staff was so accommodating as well. Always friendly and willing to help with whatever your matter may be. I would highly recommend Greene Crossing as "The Place to Be" is you're looking for somewhere to live, just check them out!! Cudos to the Management for having such a great place!!

Greene Crossing is a great place to live! I have been here for a year now. The amenities are nice and well kept. It takes me 5 mins to get to class which is much better than where I use to live. Also I have a ton of clothes and they all fit in the walk in closet. I also heard they are about to update their amenities and add another gym in the Annex. The office staff is very friendly they really make me feel at home whenever I have to go by the office. The maintenance staff are so quick I put in a work order the other day and they fixed it the same day. Over all I really like it here made some of my best friends here and can't image living any where else!

Greene Crossing is top level apartment living!!!! I mean, where do i begin here. I have lived in these apartments since day one. First year, I roomed with some friends and this year I signed back on and am currently staying in a 1 bedroom suite. Let's be honest here, most of these bad reviews are from people not used to living on their own; they need mommy to help them with normal everyday issues. Not to mention, you live in a city apartment now. It's 2017, not 1955. Driving up to your house and parking in your own drive way is a thing of the past. At least we are lucky enough to have a parking garage, I have rarely ever had to park on the street. I do agree prior management was a little shaky at the start, but that has since been resolved. The new management has stepped in and stepped up BIG TIME. The registration was a breeze. The staff made transferring from my existing to new room an absolute pleasure. Customer service manager (Sarah)... on point. Application process... on point. Attitude and kindness... yep, you guessed it... on point. Chick-Fil-A must send their employees to Greene Crossing for training, I'm just telling ya. Everything in the rooms are clean and updated, ceiling to floor. Nothing better than to come home from walking across campus this time of year and getting the cool blast from the A/C smacking you in the face. I think I even saw snow flakes coming out my vents this afternoon. The location for a student is perfect for getting to class on time. I don't like getting up in the morning, so the faster I can get to my classes, that is where I need to be. OMG! and the new coffee/latte/whatever you call it machine gets me motivated and moving in the A.M. Don't tell them but I made two for myself this morning. The Club House is the place to be and I can not wait to see the new upgrades on the way. This place rocks on all levels and is a major step up from any other apartments in a comparable price range. You want to stay here, hurry, hurry as they are filling up fast.

We're moving out in August and I'm definitely going to miss this place..Lots of memories made in the Square and it's a great place to meet new people. The walk to campus makes life much easier when you don't have to spend 20min looking for parking every day!! Quiet, clean, and friendly staff with an awesome clubhouse!! That new coffee machine is on point, keep the french vanilla latte's stocked up..they are delicious!

Greene Crossing has been the best student housing I've experienced in Columbia. The new management company has done an excellent job turning this property around. Maintenance has made it their mission to make sure all problems are solved in a timely manner. I love all the amenities here, especially the pool! It feels like a private oasis tucked in the Square building away from all the craziness of downtown. If you're a student looking for housing, definitely check this place out! It's awesome!

As a past resident resident in other housing complexes in Columbia, I can confidently say Greene Crossing has been my best experience yet. What a great first impression they made. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful during my tour, I was immediately wowed by the club room and all it's other amenities. The location is perfect for any student looking to walk to class, right by everything you need (even Publix). Can't wait to experience what this property has to offer over the next year!

If you want to be woken up at 8 am sharp everyday, this is the place to live! Enjoy every Monday-Saturday morning sitting in bed and silently resenting the sounds of endless construction, shouting construction men, and (my personal favorite) the two hour long lawn mowing of the giant dirt field!!!
