Baytown presents a thriving residential area with an emphasis on family life. This community offers a balance between a quiet suburban lifestyle and the energetic ambition that comes with ample business opportunities. Speaking of – the city’s economy relies strongly on petroleum production.
Located by the water, Baytown’s Houston Ship Channel is one of the neighborhood’s biggest attractions. The nearby nature center is a sight to see and home to hundreds of land and aquatic animal species. When you’re not at home in your apartment, the Downtown Arts District has a number of culture programs like the Baytown Little Theatre, which has been run exclusively by volunteers for over 50 years.
In the event you’re not outside enjoying the bay views, you might be shopping at the San Jacinto Mall or lavishing in the comforts of your Baytown home.

Property Ratings at Greenfield
I’ve been a resident of Greenfield twice. The same staff in the office and maintenance have been here each time I was a resident and have been great. My issue is with the actual units themselves. The first time I lived here my unit never had any major issues just very minor things. This most recent time I seemed to have more serious maintenance issues in my apartment along with half way through my lease having new people upstairs who didn’t care about the noise they made. I believe due to age of greenfield they really need to undergo major repairs and renovations.
Review READ CAREFULLY. I moved into this place and it was the worst experience ever. 1 WEEK into my move my car got broken into and totaled. This place never felt safe. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything and everyone so it doesn’t feel like it’s private. By now you shouldn’t even read the rest of this message and decide if you’ll going to look at the place or not. There are always bugs in the bathroom and kitchen no matter if you have food out or not there were roaches on the first and last day I was there, I’m not exaggerating. The bathtub was also riddled with mold that could never be clean no matter the effort. There is always maintenance needed on the apartment complex every other month and when maintenance came he stepped on my bed obviously to fix my fan and broke my hanger when they could’ve just moved it , because when I returned to my apartment my hanger was broken! Ridiculous. Like the roof having to be fixed in the whole complex. I’ve had two leaks from the ceiling. The place is cheaply made. The air conditioning unit never feels like it works properly I’d wake up sweating almost every day you can get maintenance to help but it only does so much and it still didn’t work well. Not worth it.
Thinking of living here? Don't. While the management staff is good the owners are terrible. They clearly care nothing for the tenants. Arbitrary rules and lease addendums. Services that you didn't ask for, can't opt out of but are obligated to pay for. Ridiculous demands and unrealistic expectations. Rent elsewhere.
We lived at Greenfield for almost 6 years. we never had any problems. management is great and also all the staff who work for Greenfield are great. The last year we did have issues with parking having to park far from our apartment a lot of tenants wouldn’t park in there assigned covered parking spot, and it would take space from others who needed the parking spot. Other than that we would recommend it very quite and now no noise or disturbance. Thank you The Garza’s
Apartments are nice outside of apartment look clean landscape is nice I was looking forward to filling out an application and paying all fees etc. Application fees deposit for the apartment and also my pet deposit but once she called me back the next day telling me about a 300 nonrefundable low credit score Fee I let her know I’ve never heard of that I even called a friend that was a notary that helps build credit she said she’s never heard of that with buying a house or a car especially not to rent a apartment the manager said it was something new they were doing very disappointing wish she would’ve told me the same day As I had all the money orders made out already to proceed with the application
Been here since Aug 2018 , pretty decent. Quiet neighborhood. Maintenance is quick , lawn care is bi weekly. It’s amazing. Neighbors are decent. I couldn’t ask for more , affordable as well.
I have lived at Greenfield for over 4 years. I love the fact that everyone that works there is so personnel and caring. As soon, as there are any problems in the apartment they do not hesitate to fix it. The fact that we are a small community and hidden away is great! It is very quiet and just a great place to live. Thank You, Tracy Baudier Baytown, TX
After a disasterous job relocation from N.O. to Texas & living in a hotel for 2 months, Greenfield Aparments in Baytown were my beacon of hope. I was looking for a short term lease, reasonable rent, & a safe neighborhood-Greenfield has all that and then some! Cable is included in my rent, maintence is always promt, & my parking is right in front of my door...JACKPOT-Happy Dance??.. did I mention Im only 15min away from work* POW!
