Property Ratings at Greenfield Estates
This Review is so long overdue and it has been 2 years since I moved out (summer 2020)… I lived at greenfield estates for 3 years… and by far this place was home and always will be for me… words cannot express how great my time was here. The management/office are simply the best. The best way to describe them is not just nice but genuine! The maintenance staff were always great, friendly and prompt; especially Kevin. They always answered my requests quickly and would do a good job of fixing things up if I rarely needed them for anything. The grounds are extremely safe, peaceful and beautifuly maintained. I liked to go out on walks here late night and there is something so special and peaceful about this area. The neighbors we always nice as well. There is something special about greenfield estates. I could go on and on about how great it is… I am also happily moving back here in a few months and cant wait to call this place home again. A huge shout out to especially Megan the assistant manager. Brent and Megan the manager! Thank you for making greenfield estates wonderful.
We lived in a townhouse at Greenfield for 2 years and really enjoyed our time there. Everyone at the office is very friendly and helpful, maintenance is amazingly responsive, and the neighborhood is pretty peaceful with smiling, friendly people everywhere. They are impressively accommodating to residents with special needs and I really believe that our dog, with a heart condition, lived many months past her prognosis here because of the pleasant neighborhood and doggie friends she regularly interacted with. The rent started getting a little pricey toward the end, but that’s par for the course with the crazy pandemic inflation. Thank you, Greenfield, for everything. We would definitely consider living here again in the future!
This place will rip you off every chance they get. They use third party payments and a lot of hidden fees. I would not recommend Greenfield Estates save your money!
My husband and I have lived here for almost 9 months and the only reason we are leaving is because he got a job in another state! We have loved our time at Greenfield - we have always found management to be very kind and helpful, maintenance work is done SO fast, the grounds are beautiful and are updated/decorated seasonally (which is of course not necessary but a nice touch), and if/when we see other neighbors everyone gives a smile and a wave. A quick example: the day after our wedding we found out friends and family had accidentally locked our keys in the apartment, with some of their items inside that they needed before they flew home. We called maintenance, got a voicemail box (Sunday morning), and within 10 minutes we got a call saying they could be there in 30 minutes. Such a relief to have reliable service! The location is also great - you can jump on 30 or Lincoln Highway and get to a number of major grocery or retail stores in just a few minutes. I would and have recommended Greenfield Estates to people looking for a place to live in this area.
We selected Greenfield as they have a great pet policy and are GSD friendly. The townhouses are nice... recently remodeled and have private patios. The staff in the office and the maintenance team were very responsive and helpful. The community is fairly quiet and in a convenient location.
Have lived here for many years and can say for the over all cost that includes two pools and near bye walking paths at the corporate complex very close to routes 30 and 283, office staff always kind and attentive as well as funny but hard working maintenance men who are on call seven days a week where can you find that without costing an arm and a leg?with snow removal and lawn care thrown in with the rent you really can't complain ,the only down side is that you can hear everything in the apartments either it being on the first floor or the second level so unless you are willing to tolerate that inconvieness but adding to that updated kitchens and newly painted exterior and a new dog park are really an added plus for most, go for it and call us your neighbors!
Great location, very well maintained. safe and quiet area within 15 mins of everywhere in lancaster. Top notch grounds and amenities. the only con is the rent is on the higher end but with roommates it's manageable.
I have lived in Greenfield Estates for two years. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is ideal. Although Greenfield is located just minutes from the highway, the neighborhood offers a quiet and secluded feel. The landscaping is always beautiful and snow removal is prompt. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor and they are both kept up very nicely. Maintenance always happens next day and the staff is very professional. It is a little on the pricier side but you really do get what you pay for. My only other complaint would be the the snow removal is sometimes done at the wee hours of the morning, but understandably so. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
I lived at Greenfield estates for a year. I never missed a rent payment. I was reasonably happy outside of a few maintainence issues. (Ants that had infested the backyard and never seemed to go away no matter how much of often the interior and perimeter of the building was treated.. here's a hint. Ant traps dont work, I spent my own money and purchased Spectracide from Lowes and treated it myself.) And a black mold issue in the bathroom with was repaired promptly, but not completely. The biggest surprise came after I my lease was up and moved out. The property managers Greenfield Estates house did the walk through inspection.. they refused to tell me the date and time that they were doing it so that I could be present. They are claiming that there was a foul odor in the unit and that they needed to replace the carpets. They are holding my security deposit and claiming that I owe them additional funds. According to the landlord tenant law the burden of proof is on them, but the only proof they are giving me is an invoice that they replaced some carpet and that they say smelled an odor. They have not produced any evidence of any actual damage. The carpet wasn't even new when I moved in and I paid $150 to have it professionally cleaned when I moved out per the lease agreement. This is purely my experience. I certainly hope the management treats the other tenants with more respect and consideration than they have myself and my 2 young children.
This is in a perfect location to access the bypass, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. When you drive thru it is a very relaxing atmosphere and has a country feeling. I love the layout of the 3 bedroom townhouse and the amount of closet space. It is perfect.
I.ve been here for a couple of months now. I came from living in my own home for 25 years. This is great. I am very happy here. They keep the grounds up Beautiful. They have special events all year round for the residents. Swimming all year. Close to all the shops. Very quite. The staff is always pleasant and they know you with all the people living in this community its nice that they know who we are. That personal touch. Its Great. Would recommend Greenfield Estates.
I am entering my fifth year as a renter at Greenfield Estates. This is a quiet community with people who respect each other's privacy. We are within walking distance of restaurants, post office, banks, Lowe's McDonalds, and if you prefer to drive, there are shopping malls near by. Office staff and maintenance are both outstanding.
