On the surface this apartment complex looks amazing - great floorplans, amenities, appliances, and modern units. The one pro to this complex is the maintenance staff - they truly are amazing! The building construction is subpar - neighbors music and conversations reverberate through the walls, neighbors extra curricular smoking activities seep into rooms with shared walls, people do not clean up after their pets and there is dog waste everywhere, the entry security gates are broken on a weekly basis, and Waste Management drivers pick up trash at ungodly hours-sometimes 4:00 am in the morning. The front desk staff (minus Josh) are rude and incredibly unhelpful.

I had previously written a review which detailed some concerns related to an issue regarding towing which I ultimately came to find was the fault of the towing company and not the property. The property manager has worked diligently toward addressing and resolving my issue and concerns. The property itself is clean, well maintained, and is sure to meet the expectations you're seeking in your next home. Garbage pickup is timely and consistent, maintenance is responsive, office staff are kind, gracious, and attentive, the two pools are lovely, the complex is very dog friendly, and accessibility to the highway and all major grocery stores, restaurants, and Katy Mills Mall adds to the convenience of residing here. Of course, no place is absolutely perfect without fault – the issue of parking can sometimes be a struggle for folks but the office as been working toward navigating different solutions which I appreciate as a tenant.

Do not get me wrong - it is a lovely place to live....and also a place that will give you a lot of headaches because of some...major inconveniences... CONS: 1. My car has been towed twice. There was a system error which deleted my parking permit on file leaving me without transportation to bring my grandmother to the hospital in an emergency. I'm awaiting to hear back from the complex to see how or if they will reimburse me for all of this. 2. Meanwhile, there are other vehicles on the property which are not registered that have not been towed. There is a disconnect between the front office and their answering service. 3. They either don't receive messages for them or they just don't check messages from them. Whenever I try to follow up on concerns left with the answering service, they usually have no idea what I'm talking about. 4. They say they've made efforts to fix parking issues but there is no improvement. If you do the math, there is literally not enough parking spaces to accommodate all the tenants in the first building for spaces to be within reasonable walking distance. It's just something you'll have to accept. 5. The main building is the only building that has elevators. 6. The North gate has been out of service for some months now. 7. The gym doesn't have as much equipment as I've seen in other apartments. 8. The system for package lockers has been malfunctioning for months. You'll have to enter it manually vs electronically. PROS: 1. Garbage pickup is always on time and they are consistent with that. 2. Maintenance is typically responsive - I hardly any complaints about that. 3. The office staff are pretty nice despite all that they deal with. I can't recall a single bad interaction. 4. Two beautiful pools. 5. Very dog friendly. 6. Very comfortable environment/atmosphere. 7. Clean halls. 8. Accessibility: the highway and all major grocery stores and restaurants you'll need are nearby. Katy Mills Mall is less than 10 min drive without traffic. BOTTOM LINE: Can you be happy here, yes. But...you could be happier somewhere else. Get into someplace that has parking. The distress parking causes...is just....more distressing than you'd ever expect. I underestimated it and ***unfortunately*** this? outweighs any pros for me. It shouldn't be this terrible to ask for the basics....like...reasonable access to my own vehicle.

Wood rot, mildew, mold, horrible parking, continuous broken gates, package delivery issues, no hot water for almost a month!!! I can go on and on about this place. Only positive about is that is looks good online! For almost $2,000 a month, this is nowhere near worth the price!!! I have lived in apartment for the past 6 years and this is by far the worst experience.

So many problems come into play. Dirty stair wells. Dog poop left on the side walk and I’ve even seen patios. This past 4th of July the pool grills were both broken. Pool area needs cleaning as well. I’ve been here for 6 months and the very beginning was great, however, it changed quickly double charges for utilities popped up and is still an issue and I see this is something greenhouse has been doing to residents. There Barely any parking spots. This summer people were racing through the complex like a race track and it seems like the security guards don’t do nothing but sit in cars and sleep. I have just discovered mold in the apartment and I have a feeling this may have been painted over. Overrated could be better but there is a lot of progress that’s needed. Office staff aren’t helpful which really shows it’s all about money for them.

Since Haven started managing I’ve regretted renewing my lease ever since. I’ve made several complaints and service requests that have been ignored. Trust me, it gets better… pool is allegedly closed at 10pm but there are loud swimmers at 2/3am disturbing those who have responsibilities and obligations to be up early in the morning. Residents with loud dogs barking day and night. Elevator functioning once every 2-3 months, stairwells dirty with garbage, poop and even vomit. $100 fine if trash is left out before 6pm, people have work and other obligations to attend to. Residents are threatened with a fine and receive an email each week concerning a problem adding the famous line “sorry for the inconvenience”. I’ve been greatly inconvenienced every week since this new management. Also I was out of town and my locks needed to be suddenly changed and management can’t give an account for the original keys when maintenance entered my apartment. Adults seen engaging in inappropriate activity by the pool all sorts of hours. People DO NOT pick up dog poop in this community, poop in hallways, stairwell, sidewalk and parking lot.; even the dog park is filthy. The entry gates have been broken for two months now and this is clearly a security problem, allowing all sorts of non-residents to enter, use the pool/gym around the clock. Gym is not kept clean, musty smell and weights left all over the floor. I’ve never seen the gym sanitized or have wipes in the designated area. Parking everywhere is a common issue but you have privilege residents such as police officers who take up a spot by parking in the disabled space without any proper tag. I work in health care and happen to work until late, countless times I had to take a longer walk route to my apartment as I’ve seen random men loitering in stairwells and hallways but as they claim here YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY, though the “security guard” is either asleep, eating or on her phone in her car. Employees in leasing office give priority treatment to the prospective residents and neglect the current ones. Fire inspection is done here almost every 2-4 weeks. Fire alarms go off regularly so if you have a child, pets or even work from home prepare to feel like you’re squatting and living for free, you have no privacy as maintenance always needs to enter, loud alarms disturbing you and there’s always something to “inconvenience” you. So sick of this living in this nightmare.

2 weeks after I submitted a work order for a broken dryer and despite me calling almost daily (10 out of 11 calls reach their answering service) no one has come in to look at it or update me about it. When after 2 weeks I finally went to the office, the lady just told me what can she do about it.

Well, where do I start. I never do this. Like never even if I have a bad experience with an establishment. But I hope this helps someone. First let’s start off by saying there is very very very limited parking. I get off of work rather late. I continuously had to park in illegal areas due to no parking. No exaggeration. If you don’t believe me drive by the building at night. You will see the residents have to park in front of the leasing office, in handy cap spot, & behind the car parked in the spots. Also I have got towed for parking in handy cap, when I had no other option. Then they offered me to pay for a garage that’s is 125. When I feel as though they should have enough spot for the number of residents. Second, the leasing staff is extremely unprofessional. My apartment got broken into. I filed a police report. & when I asked the leasing manager to end my lease due to me not feeling safe. She declined & told me the only thing she can do is move me to another unit that was more expensive and extend my lease longer or stay in the apartment that was broken into for the remainder of my lease with was 3 months left. I didn’t feel safe as I’m a young woman in my early 20 that’s lives by herself. So basically I have to pay them more money. Following that about 12 cars got broken into including mine. Last but not least, after all of that they tried to keep my deposit saying that I did not clean my apartment properly. Meanwhile I lived in the second unit 6 months. The last 3 months I moved to another state and just paid the rent at this complex. Therefore the apartment was pretty much new when I left. This complex is all about money, if you want my opinion. I also had multiply issues with the leasing office due to my rent being higher or being double charged for utilities. So multiply trips to the leasing off to fix this issue. I have never in my life has so many issues with an apartment complex. I have lived in a few other states. This is the worst one of them all. I was so ready to get out of this apartment.

I was so excited to move here. The apartments seemed so nice and the office staff was so friendly. The approval process was smooth and quick. For the most part this is a really nice community. The amenities are great and they used to have weekly/monthly activities for residents (muffins/mimosas on a Sunday, Tequila Tuesday with margaritas and nachos, etc). However, there are a few issues that I had a hard time dealing with. First - the parking is TERRIBLE! Unless you have a garage be prepared to walk a mile to your apartment if you get home after 7. And there is very minimal guest parking. When I would have guests over, they would have to park at the parking lot next door. It's ridiculous. Second - the hallways/elevator always smelled like wet dog and/or urine. The hall floors are tile and (what I am assuming is dog urine) puddles would be everywhere. Granted, this is more of a resident issue than management. I know management tried to keep it clean, but ugh the smell was bad. Third - Internet/Cable -- This may be a perk for some people, but they make you pay $90 a month for AT&T cable and internet. It's basic cable and one of the slowest internet packages they offer. You can upgrade at your own expense. Before I moved here, I was paying $30 a month to AT&T for a higher speed, but because of their contract with Greenhouse if I wanted to upgrade, I had to pay the $30 on top of the $90. I do a lot of work from home and the internet speed was terrible so I upgraded -- then AT&T kept messing up my bill. Again, not the apartment's fault, but something to be aware of if you want to move here. All in all - it is a nice place. The parking issue was my biggest complaint and ultimately lead to me moving out.
We are very happy living here! The management is great and on top of things! Very nice layout of our townhome and could not find anything else in this area as good as this place! We love it!
everything was great, the only complaint I would have is the yard needs more attention (dead tree, and the grass was long).

When I moved to these apartments I was really happy and exited. But with the time I realized they don’t have any security. The gates are open at night so anyone can come in. 4 weeks ago my car got stolen from their parking lot. They didn’t want to let the residents know so they can lock and put an eye on their cars. But they don’t care. When I went to the office the guy in front he was very very rude and didn’t have any acknowledgement of the situation. He said that they wouldn’t do anything about it and can’t say to their resident because of “privacy policy “ so In conclusion worst place to live. At the end the police found my car it was stolen and sadly damaged now I have to pay repairs and of course the apartments didn’t try to help me or apologize or do something about NOTHING please don’t come here.

I’ve lived here for two years and recently left to be closer to my new job. I can honestly say I throughly enjoyed making this my home. The management and staff are some of the most helpful, friendliest people I’ve ever met. The community is kept clean and the amenities are like no other!! beautiful and modern. The location is great and close to good places to eat, shop etc. It’s been a joy! I would definitely recommend making this your home.

I posted the need for having the door of my garage system reviewed as it was opening after closing, sometimes up to 5 times. The service was done the same day and garage door is keeping closed!! Thanks a lot

Location is everything and Greenhouse does not disappoint. Everything you need is around the corner. Interstate is very close but you hardly hear anything. Apartment amenities are excellent. Overall very quiet and sophisticated. Management team is great, I would like to thank Melissa with helping me throughout the process. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and she is very professional. Would highly recommend this property.

I recently moved into a townhouse at the Greenhouse Apartments and it was honestly the best decision I ever made. The location is convenient and near a lot of eatery’s and grocery stores. I haven’t had any trouble with anything. Addemir, who is the Assistant Community Director has made the process so smooth and easy. She’s so friendly and so welcoming to anyone. She does a wonderful job. I know I can count on her if anything goes wrong. Definitely would recommend living here.

I moved in when this place was still Lynd at Greenhouse right before Harvey. The front office staff, Addemir, Melissa, Jihad, Michelle, and Noreen, are all awesome and extremely helpful. They made the move in decision and process such a breeze. The amenities are well worth the cost and they have 2 pools, that are maintained!! Not many places do. Everything was outlined and went over during move-in so no surprises and everything stated was accurate!! Definitely one of the BEST places I have ever lived!! They will accommodate you and help in any way they can, within reason.
My car got towed midnight July 4th! There was no visitor parking available (Yes, I looked) keep in mind their's only 20 guest parking spaces total for a 350 unit community, that is completely unacceptable!! I understand I wasn't parked in a designated parking space for a visitor but what other option is there when all visitor spaces are taken? Please add more VISITOR PARKING for GUEST!
I’ve lived in this community for over a year and couldn’t wait to renew my lease! Beautiful property, great neighbors and a wonderful office staff. Extremely happy with the choice I made! Best community I’ve ever lived in. Everyone in the leasing office are very easy to deal with, especially the assistant manager Addemir. She’s always willing and ready to help with anything whether it’s in person, over the phone or through email, the communication is fantastic! You won’t regret your decision if you decide to make the move here, it’s been a pleasure being a part of this community. A
Going on three months I live here at LYND my air conditioner has gone out five times and August it when out as of today October 9 2017 it not fix very poor services
If your ok with not being able to park your vehicle on property because no spots available then it's a good place to live. Multiple times a week I have to park my vehicle in the office building parking lot across the street because all spots are full
Wonderful facility and friendly staff. Jahan, Addemere , Noreen and the lead Chanele are the friendliest people to help you with your dream apartment . As a Registered Nurse, I worked erratic shifts every time. It helps that I always come home to a safe, clean and friendly community. More power, Michael D

I've lived here for 30 days, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my new home. First, the staff is very professional and willing to help. You are never made to feel as if your request is an intrusion on their time. The property is well maintained and I LOVE the fact that the property is also non-smoking. Lots of events and things to do, if you choose to participate. Very quiet at night. Anytime I've submitted a request the response has been fast and completed as expected. Trash is promptly picked up by a valet service.

Wish we'd NEVER moved in. They are asking for WAY TO MUCH MONEY FOR THE QUALITY! It's like paying Hollywood prices to live in the hood NOT Insulated properly you hear ALL the street noise & people talking outside. Patios not private as advertised Secure gates are always open or you can walk thru them. Unauthorized pp come into your apt. We have had rats, mice & ants. Customer svc. friendly they've have different people working for them every week. Maint. req. are NEVER handled. NONE of the ammenites listed are available. This is an attempt to make money quick and in a hurry.

We have experienced a few natural weather issues which required the gates to be open for the resident’s safety, but once the weather passed we immediately closed the gates. We have a fantastic Service Manager, Lupe, and housekeeper Betty here on our Service Team to service your maintenance needs.
