Property Ratings at Greenleaf
Been living here for a few months and my children have a great school close by, a pool with long hours for swimming even during weekdays, and the staff is always so nice and helpful!!
The property is older, but well maintained. I chose to live here because of the large space and decent pricing. Office staff is nice and maintenance handles requests in a timely manner.
I moved in back in June and I worked with Melissa. She was amazing and answered all of my questions. Made sure I knew about everything they offered to residents! Overall great property so far and my neighbors are pretty cool! Love the two pools and the fact that I can workout in the gym while my kids swim!
awesome move in experience ! staff was supper friendly and welcoming ! seems like a pretty good community , you can tell the owners care about their community and tenants. you constantly see employees walking around picking up trash and keeping things clean ! & when i had to put a service request in to have an issue looked at it and it was done ASAP within the same day ! a very nice and quiet place to call home
You will have to pay a clean fee , you will have to pay carpet cleaning , the lady Dana will write you up for every single thing ! Even paint that was documented before move in! They do do a lot of nice things for the community though like game nights or free breakfast. Maintenance was nice and quick. So it was a love hate relationship. Don’t move here if you have kids though. You hear even when your neighbors toilet flush. Wallls are thin and even if you are light foot , you will hear “tip toes” above you. Don’t even think about a dog the neighbors will call on you lol. I’d move back but just know you won’t have any deposit back when you move out and will owe for every single thing ! Even unavoidable wear and tear maintenance .
Since Cheyenne the main recptionist left the customer service has gone down and rent has gone up. Walls are very thin, you here EVERYTHING. They don't abide by their no smoking policy. When I signed the lease I was told smoking Marijuana was not allowed. When I went to view my apartment it reeked of weed. I said something and I was told they'd have maintenance spray it down. Well the neighbor constantly smoked weed and it would come through the vents. I called the office. They said they couldn't do anything about it because it was private property I repeated what I was told about the apartment policy and was told multiple instances had been reported and I could call the police. Most recently, we were charged $85 for a freezer handle that came off (without being informed. I called the office because rent was higher than usual. When I found out why, I contested it since we didn't have to pay for any other repairs including the microwave handle and the manager aggressively stated the charge was staying. That's what the repair people paid for it and the microwave handle may have been a courtesy. She was very aggressive teetering on rude. I'm not happy with the interaction. I said we weren't notified I just saw the charge on our account. That wasn't directly addressed she just said anything that's broken in the apartment we'll have to pay for.
Property Manager at Greenleaf, Responded To This Review
Good Afternoon and thank you for your feedback. We apologize for your disappointment. Please give Mandy Brewer a call at (334)297-9292. We value your residency and would like to address any concerns you may have.
If I could give a zero star rating I would. The apartments are old, and things easily break, and you're responsible for paying the bill, when I moved out I had to pay over $2000 for a minor tear in the linoleum. Your rent goes up every year, the staff are rude, the walls in the apartment are so thin you could here your neighbors, what a HORRIBLE experience.
Apartment Community is clean, free of people hanging around your door. For the most part the neighbors are friendly and in my building I really haven’t observed unwanted traffic. The office staff as well as maintenance are professional. I have enjoyed referring to Greenleaf as home
We had such an amazing move in experience with Miss Raven!! She was very delightful and so respectful.. always smiling and letting us know everything important. I love how maintenance also shows us a thing or two before moving in. Great place and I can’t wait to see my future here with Greenleaf
I have lived at GreenLeaf for about 4 months now and it has been a very pleasant experience so far. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and the maintenance staff are very prompt and efficient. I am happy to call GreenLeaf home!
Lived at Greenleaf for 5 months now. I am enjoying so far. They have friendly neighbors and maintenance workers. I would like to be a winner for free rent. I been under a lot of stress these months. Being a winner will relieved some of this stress.
What can I say about the best place to live in phenix city beside it's a place you can call home, family environment, children laughter in the air and the best thing is it closer to all the excitement!! I have live at Greenleaf for 3 year now and I think that I choose the best apartment to live in. Greenleaf is right where everything is pop like if you want to go swim well Greenleaf have two pool you can chose from and what about some high school football you don't have to worry about any park spot because you can walk. It only hop and skip away from the apartment you be there least 10 sec. What about restaurant you may ask, well you can choose what you want to eat tonight because there are three burger joint, KFC and my favorite the waffle house when you just want waffle. And when you want to just want to walk or run to relieve stress then you just in the right apartment where the gym is in quilt with gadget that will help you relieve stress and also moonlight the best park that you can run or walk to and release all the stress that's on your mind. Also let me not forget to mention that we are close to Columbus and other location. So if you are looking for a place to call home for you or your family or temporary home then make Greenleaf your place to stay. And p.s. did mention that the staff are awesome in the event that they have for resident like bingo and free breakfast and free movie and free laundry and free ice cream are all awesome. Which do you does that!! Greenleaf alumni for life....?? because if you live in Greenleaf you can just walk it only and hop and skip back. Well if you want Mexican, Burger, Chicken or good old fashion waffles and hashbrown and don't want go far well just 30 sec from the apartment are so of the best place to eat at. restaurant that would satisfy your need. And I don't won't leave out the best parts of all about Greenleaf is the staff and the events that they show that there residents are important too. So if anyone looking to call a place home, or just for temporary then check out Greenleaf Apartment in Phenix City!
Being a 1st time attendant, I like it. It's relaxes me and very convenient for me to get around. I mean it is large enough and is big enough as a house could be. I know cause I lived in one before moving here after my friend passed away from cancer. He was my common law husband. We planned on getting married but didn't proceed. We lived together for ten years. Now me and my daughter has to live here together. Enjoying the privacy and the pools. The maintenance workers are friendly and they get the job done as I need them. Thanks for listening.
I really like living at Greenleaf. Its very family oriented and welcoming. They have lots of great amenities that are convenient to residents and the rent is very fair. There are two pools and a gym on premise. I am very pleased with Greenleaf.
