Folks around the Bay Area most likely know Santa Clara as the location of Levi’s Stadium, home field for the San Francisco 49ers and host venue for college bowl games and various concerts. While the stadium has certainly redefined the city’s public image, the community retains a diverse palette of cultural offerings.
Like much of Silicon Valley, the tech sector is heavily represented in Santa Clara, and serves as one of the most prominent industries in town. The Triton and DeSaissit Museums bring unique art exhibits to the city, while attractions like California’s Great America and Central Park provide excellent opportunities for family-friendly outdoor fun. With San Jose right next door, the options for shopping, dining, and entertainment become nearly endless.

Property Ratings at Greenpointe
If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. When we moved in, they did not clean, paint, or shampoo the carpet. There were holes in the walls, stuff in the cabinets and the patio was all broken. They would never fix things properly or when you asked. My garbage disposal was "fixed" with a tree branch, it took a month and a half to fix an LED light bulb, and maintenance told me they were going to wait until after I moved to fix my wash machine. When I made a complaint about my neighbors surround sound I was told "hopefully we can get them to respect quiet hours, but they can be as loud as they want during the day". The walls are so thin my daughter would hide when bedroom activities were being done upstairs or they would blast movies all night. They also tried to take most of our deposit. They charged us full price for carpet cleaning saying there was pet odor, although they already charged $170 cleaning fee (I guess this is charged to everyone) and the deposit for says $40+ for pet odor. The apartment itself is nice, but you basically have to clean it yourself when you move in and do your own maintenance. Even when you leave your apartment spotless when moving out, you will be charged a crazy amount.
This apartment has lot of issues. Let me list down few major ones: - This apartment has free access to homeless and interesting visitors. - lot of units have people who like to party whole night with full volume sound. - parking lot is virtual car shop. Some Tenant brings different car everyday and fix them. You will feel living next to some car workshop. - People sleep in cars, drink and smoke in car and parking lot in mid-night. Scary to walk from your parking to apartment. - swimming pool is wash venue for homeless. Worst is that management gets complain everyday, but they turn blind eyes. I lived here for sometime and had to break my lease in between to move to safer place.
Unfortunate that I can't rate lower than minimum 1* Am having a really troublesome experience staying here. My Car glass was broken 2 times broken in last 4 months and some stuffs were stolen while car was parked into assigned apartment parking. Not safe even though it is gated community. No action from management to increase security , surveillance and mgmt treat issues very lightly and casually. .Now I am scared to go even to my car in night. No CCTV in apartment making the thief easy to vandalism. Management declined installing any CCTV, Many streets, parking lots within apartment are dark without lights and I need to use mobile light to roam during night time from my parking to apt. Very poor management and very tough to get any problem fixed by them for any apt equipment malfunction. Pathetic experience just due to very unresponsive property owner/managemnt . Few apartment residents are bad(low grade) and used to smoke all over place. Beware to rent.. especially if you have children
At first they do not fix anything I report the sink and the bath for 6 months by k They were liqueando and they did not fix me until k they broke completely you have to pay all insurance of the apartment, garbage, drainage, Water, gas, electricity , K you caresses, rooms well chikitas only fits your pure bed and a toilet the managers very rudos .. only at the beginning if you put your best smile for k rentes aki but then they do not pay attention to anything you break something and They will never fix it until k definitely no longer serves you. Rent too much Face for a person k earns the minimum we are only working to pay the rent.
Since moving in a month and a half ago I have had. 1. My backyard has been broken into and items stolen. This was after I asked the management to put a latch on my gate, which they did after I got broken into and complained. Before that they said to do it your self. 2. Washer and dryer have ruined my clothes by leaving black stains over them. 3. Neighbors who use my backyard as their own personal trashcan. I am glad I only signed a 6 month lease this place is terrible.
We moved to California in a short time frame, so browsing through apartments.com we found the convenient location 2 bedroom apartment at Greenpointe. Unfortunately pictures are deceiving and although we were grateful for being able to do a virtual tour, apply and lease the apartment without being on site, we felt like the complex wasn't everything as pictured. Smaller than we its mentioned (they count the balcony, so beware), old carpet, old appliances, only one assigned parking and the other one of us had to hustle the open stalls (never available after 5pm, or having to park on side streets and walk. Maybe for a middle aged couple with 2 kids, this is definitely not a good fit but for a younger crowd it may not be bothersome. After moving here we also found the price was on a higher end for a low end apartment complex with a pool that never gets cleaned (it looked a little filthy). The laundry is also an inconvenience, if you have back or knee problems, don't get an upstairs apartment, or you have to go down a flight of stairs with your load, and fight for a machine available, as they have only 2 washer and 2 dryers for each side of the complex. Management was rude, but responsive when we asked for repair. Nonetheless, if you make enough money to afford their prices, shop around because there are better options. But again, we might be just too old to live there!
