The apartments are very out dated and old. On the inside it looks like they just put on a new coat of paint and called it a day. Had constant issues with bugs. Some of the staff was nice and helpful and the other just didn’t want to be there and it was a burden for them to help you. When the staff leave, they lock the clubhouse, which meant that when they went for their 4 hour lunch, you couldn’t get your packages. To finish it off, the staff messed up the lease and didn’t put a buy out clause in the lease. So they made up a buy out process on the spot and I had no choice but to accept. If you are looking for a cheap roof over your head then this is the place. But if you are looking for a home, don’t bother.
These apartments were a pain when I lived here nothing ever got fixed, had a water leak and damaged ceiling for so long I had to call the health dept on them twice, infested with roaches the list goes on. I’ve since moved and they are still causing problems not responding to emails or answering calls when trying to get rental verifications. Its going on 2 weeks.

I normally do not write reviews, but I literally have no other way of CONTACTING anyone. No one answers the phone, no one has responded to my emails and no one calls me back. I cancelled an apartment rental with Greenrock about 6 months ago and they have YET to give me my security deposit back after being told we'd get it within 90D. I personally work in customer service and I have to say, the customer service that was provided to myself and my fiance is terrible. I will never do business with Green Rock nor will I ever in the future after this type of treatment from the leasing office.

The complex is in shambles. Even the newly renovated apartments have mole and there is a prst issue.. The place is not worth the money. Major thefts happe in th complex. Don't park on the line you'll be towed by morning.

Red flag to ask for 5-star review in exchange for rewards points. Either there's high employee turnover, or the management company has the employees working at multiple locations. The lack of responsiveness is probably due to being overworked. New tenants aren't allowed to have screens on their windows or patio door. The online portal the company uses isn't used by employees and the mobile app barely works on Android. Some amenities are still discontinued due to COVID, and others such as laundry and gym are only available during office hours.

This management company is absolutely terrible, they seem to have several locations around Charlotte and not one of them will ever get in touch with you. I’m convinced nobody actually works at any of these leasing offices.

I’m trying to move & I been calling these people for weeks & not once have I gotten my call answered, returned. I have left voicemails & sent emails! still nothing. What kinda of apartments are these where people don’t answer phones. I’m very pissed off by the way. They should tell us they are currently it renting. That would help

Roaches, rats and crime.. not for the faint of heart. Plus the manager in the leasing office has a real attitude problem! It doesn’t matter if you’re a model tenant, quiet and on time with monthly rent, as I was, if she doesn’t like you, you know it. I’ll spare you the details, but just be forewarned - this place is the pits... So glad to be out of there!! If I could give zero stars, I would.

The property itself should be maintained garbage pick up (service and grounds)much better! Maintenance does just barely enough to get by and ramps up on language barrier as an excuse for lack luster care/service and will cancel maint requests without reason or notice. Office staff is professional and courteous but should definitely bare down on policing the property and staff so that residents feel better about paying the substantial amounts in rent costs to live here.

Place need to be closed down. Management is not help. Moved in to dirty walls,carpet,missing parts to fridge,holes in walls and a air filter that hasn’t been changed since 1999. Me and my child are currently sick. My baby is 5 months old and has been breathing in dust and God knows what else since July! I want our of this lease or to be moved to a new apartment. No one should should have to go through this. My baby has been to the doctor and emergency room a total of 4 times last month. I have been to the urgent care as well.

Very poorly ran operation. I lived here for a year and put in several maintenance request to have things fixed. When I moved out the same things still needed to be repaired. When I moved out they charged me for the following months rent even though I moved out on the day my lease ended. It took almost 6 months to have this billing error fixed by the PM. It literally took me going there 2 to 3 times a week for 6 months to make that happen. Not to mention I have sent several requests over the course of a year to their corporate office to contact me. Nothing yet. Keep in mind I have been gone almost a year and still have not received my deposit back nor can ever catch the PM in the office to fix this or get someone from their corporate office to call or contact me. I would suggest to anyone looking to rent from Desman Residential don’t. Even if your out of options I would still say don’t. If you are aware of the power of 10 I would suggest you share this with ten people and they do the same so as to save them the heartache of renting from this company and it’s not just a local management issue it is a company issue. So changing PMs doesn’t solve the Desman Issue.

I recently went to these apartments for more information and I must say that I wanted to move in right away. Staff was very nice and property manager even came out to introduce herself. I felt like I was already home. I will be leaving my application this week!
