Property Ratings at Greenspoint at Paradise Valley
We lived in this complex for almost 3 years and hated every minute of it. The building is so old and everything is falling apart. The walls are so thin it seems like they’re literally made of paper—we could hear our neighbors phone vibrating. The complex is on a super busy road so there’s also tons of noise all night long. The only bright spot here was the maintenance staff. They were all incredibly kind and timely in doing repairs. The downside is that nothing ever got truly fixed or repaired, most of the time they just paint over what needed fixed. Our appliances were easily older than us and nothing was cleaned when we moved in. If we ever went out of town for more than a day, we came back to the grossest mildew smell. There is a dog park which has been renovated recently, but the whole time we lived there the park was mostly dead grass and rocks. Our patio was always covered in dirt and bird poop and the landscapers would literally blow leaves and dirt and poop into our patio every few days. The gutters for the whole complex would also funnel directly into our patio so whenever it rained we would get flooded and even more bird poop would collect there. The pool is gorgeous and well maintained, but over the last six months there were no chairs out for resident use, which goes to show how management didn’t care about resident experience at all, seeing as we had no chairs for the entire pool season. The inside of the apartment looks nothing like the pictures on the website or the model they show. There is no natural light and even the artificial lighting is incredibly dated and barely works. The A/C sounds like a jet engine whenever it starts up and barely pushes any cold air. The final nail in the coffin for us was being told when we renewed our lease in January that our rent would be raised again in July. We decided to move out and kiss this place goodbye. Save yourself the time, headache, and exorbitant amount of rent money and DO NOT MOVE HERE.

My family & I lived in this great location close to great schools ,shopping & more in this family community. Staff is excellent and the maintenance is top notch. Affordably priced and well maintained.
COCKROACH PARADISE!!! I moved in a few months ago and ever since the very first week I’ve had roach issues. I’ve never previously had any roach issues at any apartment complex I’ve lived at because I clean constantly and spray bug spray on the baseboards to ensure there’s never a chance of infestation. There are constant water shutoffs, sometimes for days at a time. There’s been long periods where I haven’t been able to shower and clean my dishes because we’ve had no water. I truly am miserable and haven’t enjoyed life since moving here, it’s all Greenpoint’s fault.

Hi there, we are disappointed to hear that your experience is not an exceptional one. I would like to get some more details about what you're describing. We would like to work towards a resolution, so if you are willing, please reach out to me directly at sjanssenglidewell@missionrockres.com.
Boy, how places have changed since 2020, huh? Prices have gone up for so many things, but quality and service have not. Judging by the number of 'We want your feedback!' surveys I now get for EVERYTHING, you'd think they care. Right. Anyway, I lived here for years, a few units. All good. But my move out situation for the last unit was stressful due to the office being confused and / or unclear on what the heck is going on or what I owe and why. Our day to vacate was curiously a week after our original end date. Was told that was because I was interested in transferring to different unit. No, it wasn't. Yes sir, it was. No, it wasn't. Oh, you're right. I didn't realize _______ changed that notice. I was on vacation. Why was our day to vacate a week after our lease end date? Who knows. Still unclear. So I planned to stay until my day to vacate (roommate already moved out). Little did I know at the time that last week I'd be charged month to month rate (which in turn negated the day to vacate, since I could have stayed even longer under month to month rate). Just so unclear. Which brings me to our final bill. The statement was confusing and unclear. I inquired about it since I wanted to figure out what charges to split with my roommate, and the reply I received had a strong "don't dispute this, it's correct" tone. I asked twice for clarification on some mysterious, unlabeled balance, and it was ignored. My final email to them let them know, again, I am not disputing anything. I just want clarification and how irritating this has been. Their reply? "You may dispute any charges you wish". I mean, what the heck? What in the actual heck is going on in there? Listen, I get it. Many are stressed right now. I imagine these ladies at the office hear it all. But this was all handled so poorly. I also get there are 3 sides to every story. Maybe you think I might be the one who's nuts and leaving things out. I'm not. I've got all the emails to show for it. Perhaps by the time you arrive, this property management will have changed (again) to another owner. With new staff and a stronger grasp on operations. But as of 05/12/22, this place is kind of a mess.
I found a gem when I picked this place from out of state. We love our 3rd floor apartment. Once we got settled in, the mountain views and the vaulted ceilings are some of our favorite features. You can’t beat the location – not only is Greenspoint next to all the shopping you’ll ever need, it runs along the Stone Creek golf course that has a running path. As someone with a dog it is perfect to get out and have a great walk. Our neighbors are very quiet and very friendly. I love calling Greenspoint my home! ??
I have zero complaints about living here. Relatively affordable, and the office staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful. I've always had timely repair of my maintenance requests. Property is kept super clean. The pool area and amenities are also really nice.
Rent with utilities increase each month. Service requests not answered in timely manner. Appliances break often and easily. Staff is nothing special. Apartments are nice size, painted before each new tenant but that is all. For what you pay you could live somewhere else much better!
I have lived at Greenspoint for 1 year now and just renewed my lease. The location is perfect, close to the 51, easy drive to Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Lots of shopping and food in the area. Not only is the location great, but the premises are always clean. The pool area is large with plenty of seating and the gym is available 24 hours which is a plus. Any time I have had an issue or a question, the front desk has been accommodating and very quick to find a solution. I had an issue with my washer and service workers were there the next morning and got the issue fixed. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and care about your experience there. One main thing that made me choose Greenspoint was the sizing of the units. I feel they are larger than most apartments in the area and the square footage is used nicely. Lots of storage, walk in closet, and a patio. And in unit laundry!! I truly have no complaints about this complex - just excited to live here another year!
I've lived at Greenspoint for the previous two years and its been by far the most enjoyable apartment living situation that I've ever had. It's close to plenty of shopping and restaurants which I love. The pool is always kept very clean along with the rest of the property. And maintenance has always been very timely in coming to fix anything in my apartment! I would recommend.
My experience of living at Greenspoint has been positive. They have a nice selection of apartments to choose from. Everything is clean and kept up around the premises. The neighborhood is very safe as well. Whenever I needed repairs the staff has been prompt in addressing and completing service work orders. The staff also does a good job with communication to its residents. There is ample parking available, along with a good fitness center and pool. I would highly recommend Greenspoint apartments.
If your looking to get scammed out of money this is the place for you. Not worth the cost of living here. Management is unprofessional and rude. I would have left sooner if I was trapped into resigning a lease due to there lack of communication. Please save yourself some time and money and live anywhere but here.
Just to start, DO NOT MOVE HERE. Here is my story ... When I moved in, management was friendly and responsive, but down the road and things started to go downhill. The a/c was so loud in my apartment that it kept me up at night as it ran constantly. My electric bill has never been so high. I filed multiple maintenance requests and every time, the problem was not fixed. My a/c went out when it was 115 degrees outside. It was out for 3 days, and my apt went up to 96 degrees so I had to find places to sleep each night, not to mention that my dogs were at risk of over heating and getting sick. Mngmt refused to pro-rate my rent for those 3 days; they also refused to pay for the hotel that I was forced to get. Everyday when I got home, I dreaded to see what new notification of a ridiculous fee on my door. Fees for my dogs were constant with $25 fines for issues that were not even accurate. The maintenance crew were initially nice, but the problems were not fixed when they came to fulfill a request. When my a/c went out, the maintenance guy was so rude and threated to walk out when he was asked how he was going to solve the problem. He asked "Do YOU want to do it!?" in a completely disrespectful way. I had to plead with him just to stay and try to fix the problem. Do not be fooled by the nice atmosphere of Greenspoint. The apartment has cheap fixtures and appliances. The pool was always dirty and the hot tub never had working jets. The grills were absolutely disgusting. There were bums poking around the dumpsters constantly. The dog park is a joke. It is a large sandbox that stinks of urine. When I suggested they get some grass, I was told, "This is AZ...grass dies" And just for the record, this apartment is located across the street from a beautiful golf course, covered in grass. They say they are a gated community, but the gate is open until 6pm. I constantly saw the cops on the premises and I saw multiple break-ins, both apartments and cars. Moving out was a complete nightmare. We scrubbed the entire apartment and even did paint touch-ups. It didn't matter, and I received nothing back from my deposit. A $50 charge to clean the oven - are you kidding me??! Christine and Sally are rude and conniving women who should not be in customer service - ever! They disrespected me, talked down to me like I was unintelligent, and got every penny they could. I have never felt more relieved to move out of an apartment. This place caused me so much stress and anger.
excellent apt. I have lived here for 20 years. I enjoy living here.
This is an excellent place to live plus you have easy access to the 101 and 51 freeways. Just north of Paradise Valley and next to the Paradise Valley mall, you will have access to great food and great shopping. You can enjoy the pool in the summer and the fire pit next to the barbeques in the winter. The staff is always on top of it when there is an issue. Staff is also on site for after hours emergencies. The leasing staff is amazing and always willing to go the extra mile to help out and find a beautiful apartment to call your own.
We enjoyed living here for 3 years; however, when we bought a house we put in our 60 day notice. We kept the apartment immaculate and were never late on payments. They wanted to do the walk through without us; however, I insisted that my father-in-law be present since it was after our move out date and I didn't trust them to give an accurate move out quote. I wanted to be proactive and called a couple days after the walk through to find out if we would be getting our deposit back or if there were any charges. They told me they couldn't help me and told me someone else dealt with move outs and would call me as soon as they returned to the office. Of course, they never called. I called again and got the same response. Assuming this was the second time I went out of my way to find out about the deposit, I assumed they would have this person call me back. Nope! I called a THIRD time, still no one could help me except this ONE person who clearly doesn't do her job. I finally had my father-in-law go to the office because at this point it was a month after our move out date. He spoke with the manager Kelly, who gave him a long story about how they take photos and it goes to the corporate office and someone would get back to us soon. Being proactive proved to not work with this company. Tonight, we received a letter titled "Urgent attention requested by Christine Hambric, the assistant manger who was supposed to return four of my requests." It states that the "balance due for the apartment has been held from collections for WELL OVER 30 days. If no contact is made, the balance will be referred to collections." My husband and I are furious. Not only did we contact them 4 times in the last month and a half, but they have never returns my calls and this is the first time we have heard from them. There is not even an explanation of the fees. The letter just states that it will go to collections if it is not paid in a week. The office will be hearing from me bright and early tomorrow. If they don't resolve this, I will contact those at the corporate office. This is no way to treat people that were always on time with payments, clean, and respectful residents. I am not a person that writes poor reviews and find that we are very easy going people. However, I cannot believe that a company could treat good residents like this. Do yourself a favor and don't live here. I'm extremely disappointed.
Would highly recommend. Office staff are so very friendly. Complex amenities well maintained. I rent a one bedroom since Jan of this year. Once I saw it, I knew this is where I wanted to be. Not only my first impression of the apartment and amenities, but it is a safe environment in addition to having the convienience of so many shops/restaurants surrounding the area!
