Property Ratings at GreenVue
GreenVue really cares for their apartment community and take one on one time with the residents to ensure they are taken care of to the best of their ability
I would say this will be my best experience in apartment living Ive ever had. The staff is really nice and always professional. I would definitely refer Greenvue to family, friends, and even strangers looking for a nice community of apartments to live within.
There are 40 something visitor spaces(structured in a very deceiving way) and 475 units. It’s a fight to get one and the tow guys zoom in and out religiously. There is only one trash can for the complex and it’s a compactor. The valet company is decent (at best) and Friday-Sunday the trash piles up in a disgusting manner. Apartments are great and residents are nice. But it’s not worth the headache of the rest of the issues.
They are the best management team I have ever known.
I have been very pleased with my contact with the staff. They are polite, helpful and responsive.
I have been very pleased with my time here at Greenvue.
The office staff is great but the parking is horrible, my car got towed the first moving in because there was no parking!!!
Ive been here about a month, so far so good. Peaceful, neighbors are polite and friendly. Maintenance is quick to respond and repair. Parking situation is well organized. I love living here and happy to have found it!
The staff is helpful and the facilities are kept clean despite the residents constantly littering. The limited facilities hours are annoying (10am-4pm with the CoVid). The parking is not bad. This place is a bit expensive compared to other places but it is in a convenient location next to I-75. It is within biking distance of UT Dallas.
Great apartment great environment great amenities great service i love living here
The office staff would go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with whatever complaints you bring to them. The timeliness at which they get work done sometimes is amazing. Living here for four years has been one of the best for me.
I like how fast the management team responds
My experience at GreenVue is that it is quiet and safe. Non-emergency maintenance requests are handled within 24 hours. The gym is good but hours are restricted and you need a reservation for it. The only negative is that the rent is high.
Very clean and modern. You get what you pay for!
I love my apartment its so cozy and the finishes top it off. The pool is great. I love the location. Im close to family as well as some of my favorite restaurants. A walking trail is literally right here for outdoor exercise as well as the gym is pretty nice. No issues with management. Everyone seems pretty nice.
Only have excellent maintenance
Its bright, I enjoy the outlook of it when I arrive. Cleanness of it.
Apartments are good , I wish they could maintain the cleanliness in the carpeted corridors.
Professional!! Love the follow up. My maintenance request was responded to and completed quickly
Have really enjoyed living here.
Good response to work order and professional
I just renewed my lease at Greenvue Apartments. I wish It was possible to renew for 24 months. I know that the customer service, quick response to any issue might it be maintenance ( need a mailbox key , filters, light bulbs) nothing major but still a work order to office they have always been very responsive and eager to help. This is my home because they make it feel like home! Especially Julie and Juan! Thank you J. Payne
Its just a blah environment. Definitely not bad but most definitely not 5 stars
Loving the convenience of my stay at GreenVue so far. Seems to be a quiet community, although parking lot noises seem to echo.
My maintenance request was taken care of even though everything is more difficult with the covid-19 pandemic.
These apartment has been a nightmare ,the management is rude and condescending except Ma’tya. Not all buildings look the same so don’t be deceived. The elevators and building access codes keep malfunctioning and electrical fittings and door handles keep falling off. This facility’s parking is a nightmare if you work till evenings and towing is strictly enforced-every day after 9:30pm, good luck packing .some apartments are used for Airbnb which is a security concern as different strangers come in and out of those apartments with giant lockbox key holders in front of them. The corridors stay littered with thrash bags after pickup closes for days with poor ventilation and packages ordered are sent to a mailroom which is very distant from most apartment buildings and a big problem, multiple packages of mine have been sent back through Amazon/ups as the shippers can’t access the package room. That being said, it’s a pretty apartment with same layout as the myriads of new apartments popping up around Dallas .
I just want to start off by saying that each persons experience is different so their perception will be as well. You have to hear the bad sometimes so that they can learn and grow! With that being said I before working in the healthcare field I worked in the Property management industry for about 4years so if I know anything I know you can’t please everyone even if you try daily! Some people will always have an issue! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with nothing but respect! I was given a tour of the property in depth and not taken to just a model apartment but the actual floor plan that I was looking to get (which is so helpful). I was courted to different parts of the apartments and given a full description of everything available in the area. I will say not ONE question went unanswered and I ask ALOT OF QUESTIONS! Lol, I was given time to go in each room and all areas in the apartment,I wasn’t rushed or anything! I went in with a certain budget and with the special they had made it better! I’m very big on customer service and I can honestly say Julie gave me LIFE!! She shared personal experiences we laughed the whole time!! While I was in the apartment I was so pleased I yelled I’d take it while walking out!(it was the last one of its floor plan for immediate move in). When I left that day I had issues paying for the application online around 5:00 I got a call from Julie saying someone else wanted that apartment and was willing to put the money and app in AT THAT VERY MOMENT, I told her what happened and she said you know what, Don’t worry come in tomorrow on your lunch pay for it and we’ll go from there! I did exactly what she said came in and she did EVERYTHING right there gave me my Welcome letter and BOOM, we were done! She sent the lease that day and the rest is history! The next day I brought my two kids there to show them the apartment and the whole staff(both leasing agents) were just so welcoming to them! They let me show them the apartment and all the amenities! Sometimes it can be hard to get in contact with them on the phone but if you just ask them for their emails you’ll get a response in a timely manner hands down! All in all I received nothing but gratitude and respect from this complex. My apartment is BOMB, everything is new and the area is beautiful! Giving them a A
Loud parties with drugs and police showing up in the middle of the night. Poor customer service Subpar unmaintained amenities .
I moved to Green Vue a little over a month ago. I originally chose this apartment due to the price and appearance of the interior and exterior - but most importantly, there were units available on my very short timeframe. I had read many negative reviews and had learned that the complex was giving gift cards to people for leaving 5 star reviews. I was moving from poorly build student living so I figured how bad could it be. The answer is terrible. Since moving in, I have dealt with nothing but constant frustration and terrible nights sleep. On my first night in my apartment, I laid in bed awake listening to the loudest creaking I’ve ever heard from the people above me walking around. On top of that, when there isn’t creaking, it sounds like there are elephants stomping around up there. I have lived in first floor apartments before so I knew I would be able to hear the people above me - I never imagined it could be as bad as it is. After listening to this for a good 30 minutes and taking videos on my phone as evidence, I finally put headphones in, blasted my rain maker app, and went to sleep.. only to be woken up multiple times throughout the night. This is how 90% of my nights in my apartment have gone. After trying to handle things with the office over the phone with no luck, I went into the office to talk to the manager, show her the videos, and discuss my options. She was clearly very frustrated with me and was incredibly rude... as if I inconveniencing her for having a problem with being unable to sleep at night due to a building defect. She promised to send maintenance to take a look. After the maintenance people supposedly made several trips to my apartment, they came to the conclusion they couldn’t do anything about it. After over a month of trying to get this handled, management finally came back and let me know they would not be doing anything about it and offered me no compensation or feasible options. So for the next year, I will have to wear headphones so I am able to sleep in my own apartment. Only a month and a half in and I am counting down the days until I can move to a new apartment complex - one that that’s built better and cares about it tenants.
The amenities are terrible and inaccessible. The golf simulator? Hasn't worked since they took over management of the property. The clubhouse? They have a problem with homeless people breaking in and sleeping there so they lock it except for business hours. Also they have a graffiti problem that has been happening the past few months. The nice relaxing pool? Its filled with children whose parents could care less about your willingness to get wet as you cook/enjoy a drink. The fitness center? They have enough weights for 2 normal people and 4 world champion bodybuilders and that's about it. Don't waste your time or your money for this overpriced and under-delivered property.
Our experience with living at Greenvue was fine, just a normal apartment setting. However upon move-out we were sent a $500 bill for cleaning, repainting, and repairs that were not needed. We sent a polite email asking about the charges and were sent back a snarky email telling us to “look at the pictures and let me know if you still have questions.” Very unprofessional and rude.
After this complex was sold (for the 20th time) the entire place had gone downhill at a shockingly fast pace. Whoever purchased this place has been running it into the ground by letting just about anyone and everyone in just to get the low occupancy percentages back up from the previous owner’s numbers. In addition to letting in whoever they want, regardless of their criminal background/history, (which according to section 24.5 on your lease under “crime and emergency” is not something that is required to review prior to approving a new tenant *READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN*) they decided to get rid of the Richardson PD courtesy officer who lived at the complex. They instead replaced him with a “security officer” who is an officer for Dallas PD, which is completely useless considering he has zero jurisdiction over any criminal activity that occurs at this complex. This defeats the entire purpose of having an officer on site. If he can’t legally do anything and Richardson PD still has to be contacted to handle things, then what’s the point of having him??? On top of this, ever since the Richardson courtesy officer was let go, there have been SEVERAL vehicles broken into, in addition to an actual garage that someone owns just within the past THREE WEEKS. But has management done anything to help minimize these occurrences or even sent out an email to residence warning them to be aware? No. Because they clearly don’t care about the complex or other tenants’ well being or safety. I didn’t even think it was possible for a complex to be run into the ground so quickly, but this new owner and new management/office team has done a fantastic job figuring out how to do it. If you’re considering this place, save your money (because these places are WAY overpriced for the crap safety they provide) and spend it somewhere that fully supports the idea of having an officer who actually cares and can legally take action when needed. Btw, if you read a good review, then it’s probably because the tenant who posted it wanted the free Starbucks gift cards they were giving away to people that gave them 5 stars.
If I were you, I'd run away- far away. But if you get nothing else from this review, get this: BED BUGS. There have been 2 management changes in very close succession (never a good sign). When I went into the office in the last few days, the assistant manager even told me that the PLETHORA of uhaul trucks and moving trucks are due to tenants leaving their apartments (apparently in droves). At this point, I wish I could go with them. Firest, the "luxury" Luxor mail system is a JOKE! If you plan on never ordering from Amazon and MAYBE being able to get packages, then it should work for you. However, the management staff is totally aware that the system doesn't work well with Amazon Logistics (which is how most Prime packages are shipped) and simply keeps blaming Amazon instead of this stupid system. If your package from Amazon is delivered after office hours, it may very well get returned to Amazon without you ever seeing it. And if things are delivered (perhaps things you really needed quickly), the system can take hours or even days to notify you and let you in to pick it up, if it ever does at all. Again, if you get nothing else from this review, get this: BED BUGS. We moved in 7 months ago and didn't have bed bugs. However, when I realized that we had started to have them (and that I was really allergic), I went to the apartment manager to tell her. Not only did she totally blow me off, despite me telling her that I was allergic and could not live in the apartment until it was fixed, she blamed it on me and said that they must have come from my storage unit (SEVEN MONTHS AGO) because she "knew" that the eggs can take 6 months to hatch (first, it's been 7 months and second, that's wrong- they hatch within 2 WEEKS). It's been nearly a week and I haven't got a call to tell me that Pest Control has actually come or that they are going to do anything about the problem. In fact, when I call I am told she's not even in the office (despite the fact that she was supposed to call yesterday to talk to me about the problem). Not only do they want me to pay to have the bed bugs removed, I also have no say in the company or the methods and she doesn't mind taking more than a week to get anything done at all. Sorry for the other people in the apartments near me- the apartment manager is just letting bed bugs get worse by waiting to do anything about them and I wouldn't be surprised if they get infected due to her incompetence.
I lived at Greenvue for two years. The rent is too expensive for what you are getting. The management sucked when I first moved in and still is not very helpful. Mary is the only one who is actually helpful. I have been moved out for 2 months and still HAVE NOT received my 1600 dollar security deposit back!!!!!! I can’t get in touch with anyone at corporate and have left MULTIPLE VOICEMAILS AND EMAILS!!!! Terrible.
The halls are absolutely disgusting. Lined up and down with stains from peoples garbage and he elevators are rarely clean. However I think the biggest downfall to these apartments is the Management staff. I'm confined to a wheelchair and am paralyzed. Amber leased me a 3rd floor apartment. A 3rd FLOOR ADA ACCESSIBLE APARTMENT. Not only has the elevator broken 2 times but I was stuck out of my apartment for 3 days the first. Jennifer and Amber both promised they would consume "all costs to relocate me to a first floor unit." They made it seem like it was a priority for them. It wasn't. Nothing but a bunch of bs and lies. Three months has passed and finally I received a final "approval." I could move to an apartment 100sq ft smaller than mine for over $100 more a month. Not at all what we agreed on. Now, both Jennifer and Amber are conveniently gone. Lucky for me I have found myself a wonderful new place to live and filed a complaint with the ADA and have hired an attorney.
I am a current resident and I can not wait to get out. The property presents itself as a Top notch property but, once you move in you are forgotten and a number. I contacted the "emergency" number and it took me following up multiple times to ever get someone on the phone. They have zero proactive nature as a staff. The pool while they have a "policy" to prevent individuals who do not live at it from coming they allow families to break this and bring full on parties which turns it more into a water-park setting of a pool rather than relaxing. They have holes in the hallways that go unattended for weeks. When I walked in to submit my cancellation, before I could say a word the staff tried to rent me an apartment as a pushy salesmen like you would find at a car dealership.
The apartments are nicer looking than any I have seen in the area. The price was higher as well, but completely affordable. PRO - Great looking. Newly built. No speed bumps. CON - Appliances in some apartments are cheap, but they reflect this in the price of the apartment. The workout area is a tad small. Maintenance is very slow, but it may be because the agents fail to report our requests given in person. Which brings me to my last point: Amber (the assistant manager) is probably the laziest and most unprofessional agent I have ever come into contact with in apartment leasing. I've had 3 interactions with her where she handled herself poorly. The first 2 I let go and the 3rd time I've concluded that unfortunately, that's just the way she is. Unprofessional, abrasive, and lazy; Which is very unfortunate considering her position.
Love the apartment community, the location, the awesome amenities and all the staff here at greenvue! Only regret is choosing the 2 story loft style apartment that faces the street you can definitely hear all the noise of the traffic & the dart train every time it comes by not only that you can hear your neighbors every time they come in and out of their front doors plus the gate doors to get into the building & of course their dogs. Parking has also been an issue now that a lot more people have moved in if you're coming home after 8-9pm don't expect to find parking. At least now we know when choosing our next apartment
I enjoy living here so much. The community here is truly unique. From veteran city dwellers to good ole' country folk, you'll find an assortment of great people from various walks of life. The amenities are superb and I really love the fact that a full size washer and dryer come with any unit the complex has to offer. I I love this place! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
Very pretty complex and great location. It is less than a half a mile from the dart station and 15 minutes to downtown Dallas. The complex is quiet and in a safe area. The dog park is a little small but they do offer private yards on a few units. There is also a beautiful pool with outdoor entertainment including TV's, chess, grills, and a small basketball court. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to do whatever they can to help you. The Greenvue Cares team offers various community events each month including, breakfast, cookies, Pizza night, and movie's by the pool. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is still under construction and there have been a few delays.
This apartment complex is amazing, I was one of the first to move in and it had been a great experience. It has easy access to a major free way but had no heavy traffic noise. Also has one of the best club houses I've seen from the full gym to the golf simulation room. The staff is friendly and on there game, especially the maitnence my request have been handled in less than 24hrs. It's located in a great area of Dallas and will be more amazing once fully finished!
These are brand new apartments and the management company is really making a difference. There's a resident Cares Team putting on all sorts of free events for us. They surprised us with a movie box with candy, popcorn and a Red Box code as we came home on a Friday night. (!) Then Saturday morning, knock, knock--the Cares Team on the other side with breakfast tacos/donuts for room service. Wow! Pizza and a pool movie night are coming soon. The apartments are well-designed with hardwood floors, smooth, sleek granite in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The closets are the best I've ever seen--mine has plenty of room for my clothes, shoes AND all my photo/video gear as I'm a pro videographer. I'm in a two-bedroom and it's set up perfectly for a room mate. Each of the bedrooms and corresponding bathrooms are on either side of the living room and kitchen area, so it works out great. Washer and dryer are included, and there's a pantry! (hard to find in this area.) The water heater is pass-through, not tank, so I don't freeze mid-shower, even with laundry going too. The club house has an amazing pool table/card table and long countertop/chairs for parties. The swimming pool is mesmerizing! It's 4-4.5' deep only, with a round infinity area, and that's perfect. Gas grills poolside are easy to operate, and there's a coffee bar in the lobby. I'm up on the 4th floor in a climate controlled building with an elevator. I had to downsize from a three bedroom home to a two-bedroom apartment with a room mate--that is not an easy task at all. But this has made it better. Only cons are expensive pet deposit and pet rent, expensive parking fee $50 per month for tuck under, and $26/mo valet trash (which only picked up my trash twice last month.) Since it's a new property, I think they'll get details ironed out as they go. But pretty good experience so far. Oh! If all that's not enough, you can catch the DART with just a five-minute walk, and head downtown without the parking hassle!
Everything seems like perfect to me! It can be my dream to live here
These apartments are only a couple of months old and gorgeous! The amenities and clubhouse are huge, and everyone who lives and works here is always friendly. Great location and easy access to freeway and metro.
These are brand new apartments so it's exciting to be among the first residents. Most impressive though is not the facility, but rather the people. My first interaction with a couple called the CARES team was a genuine surprise! On a hot Friday night in July I pull up and they have a movie box with popcorn, candy and Red Box code for a free movie! They have other events planned for the community to bring us together instead of us just landing each day at our apartment. Nice. Apartments range from 1BR loft (which are uhhhh--maaaayyyy-zing! Around 2K per month though), to regular 1BR, 2BR, with/without balcony, stainless steel upgrades, storage, and yes, a pantry in each apartment----hard to find in this area!! Washer/Dryer/Fridge included. As for the apartments themselves, nice setup, hard wood floors, track lights, granite countertops throughout! Great for a room mate situation because you can cut the apartment in half with kitchen-living room right in the middle. Bathrooms are nice and big, closets are huge--in fact I put all my professional gear right in there with my clothes and shoes. Sweet! There is tuck under parking $50 a month (ouch), and will be a parking garage eventually (still under construction.) So far utilities seem reasonable. I like that my water bill is MY water bill, I'm not subsidizing everyone else. I don't like the monthly admin fee to pay my rent (boo). We're about a 5-min walk from DART train so transpo to downtown and airport is easy. Lots of great restaurants around us and grocery stores within 3 miles. All in all, I'm excited to live here.
Love this apartment. So cute inside and out! Super nice staff that helped me do everything!
