I lived at this facility for a year. It's in a great location and the office staff were wonderful. I had not issues and I would highly recommend.
Bad management. Dirty. Crime. Overpriced. Poor quality. Weed and cigarette smoke all the time
The staff isn’t very helpful. They came to do a “customer service survey” which was really just a tactic to try to get us to sign a lease that was $300 a month more than our current price. We told them no thanks and listed a number of reasons we wouldn’t stay including a few maintenance issues we needed help with, they said they’d get maintenance out but maintenance never came. I submitted a ticket digitally and when maintenance got here he said he had no clue about all the other issues we told the lady from the front office about. The pool is also out of control. There are constantly people blasting music and there are children screaming all day long. There is also frequently people there blasting music past closing time as well, there was even an instance of someone hiring a DJ to play from the pool. If you want a quiet community I would definitely recommend not living here.
Greenway at Mallard Creek is a complete disgrace! I have emailed the manager, JP multiple times for various things and she never responds. I finally started going to the leasing office to ask my questions in person and the staff is rude and not helpful. JP even went as far as saying that she has not received my email, which in my opinion, is very unprofessional. Email’s don’t just go missing and if I had the wrong one it would bounce back to me and it never did. Even when bringing up concerns about my safety, the leasing office neglected to answer any of my emails and calls. Not only do they fail to respond to personal emails, but they do not send out community emails about current happenings or construction that is taking place. A few examples include, failure to communicate about pool closures, fire alarm tests, construction taking place outside of units, etc. You would think all of these things would be properly communicated but you don’t find out until it’s happening since the management team does not know how to communicate with its residents! The management team couldn’t even have the decency to inform me of my move out procedures. After ignoring my emails yet again, I went to ask them my questions in person and they refused to talk to me. It took me 5 trips to the office and by the 5th one, I sat and waited in the lobby for 30 minutes until someone would finally talk to me. My time living here under the Connor Group Management has truly been awful and I would never recommend this place to anyone! This place and the management team is a joke!
Before this new management took over, everything was great! Ever since they started here everything has gone down hill. It takes forever for any of our maintenance requests to come in. Our air conditioner broke right as summer started and they had to order a part for it and gave us a super old window unit that did not help one bit. We were stuck in 90 degree heat for over a month. They let us know the part came in, but never when they were going to fix the AC. We called over the span of another 3 weeks and were constantly told "Lindsey will call you today", which never happened. They lied and said only one person in Charlotte knows how to fix the AC and that's why it took so long to fix it. I'm pretty sure they just didn't want to hire anyone else. Now that the pool is open, the closing time for it is 9 pm. Yet, every single night that I have come home from work at 9:30 pm there are teenagers still in the pool talking and playing music as loud as they can till almost midnight. There also isn't any security anymore at night as far as I can tell, which explains why no one is getting kicked out of the pool past closing time and is honestly concerning to me. The place is nice other than the horrible management, but it's definitely not worth what we are paying for.
I am counting down the days til I can move out of this property! Ever since the new management took over, I have felt so disrespected due to their consistent negligence in communication. I have put in multiple requests for maintenance and they NEVER come. The few times I have gotten in contact with the management team, they have assured me that maintenance will come at the time of my request but that has never happened. When I reach out to follow up with the maintenance request, I get no response. Nobody responds to my emails or returns my calls. My apartment has a major bug issue due to poor structural foundation and they have neglected to fix any of the issues that I have stated. I do not recommend giving any of your money to this property group.
I’ve been a resident for years and through different management and have always felt at home in this place. There are spacious apartments, great amenities, close access to the greenway trails and courteous, flexible and helpful assistance makes this a great place to call home.
From the first starting with application process and now officially staying there, Management has been very kind and helpful. I needed a washer and dryer and received it in no time. I put an work order in and maintenance was at the door less than 24 hours of my request. My neighbors are friendly and quiet which was a plus for me. I cant remember all of management names but I've met mostly all of them so you guys rock.
Do yourself a favor and do not move here. Ever since the management changed and it is now Greenway at Mallard Creek it has really went down. They’re trying to make improvements by updating and it has been a nightmare. If you have a maintenance issue it takes forever and my apartment got flooded from the rain by the time they finally got out to me. It is overpriced for what you get an overall it is very noisy here.
Firstly few of the problems were the car breakins that happens (but so does in other apt), leasing office do inform about it and share safely measures. They have also put cctv at the entrance. Another major issue is thin wall and floor, most of the times you can hear neighbors foot steps and door bangs. But Its the best community you get for very reasonable price in the area. You have great and flexible leasing office staff, responsive maintenance staff, free starbucks coffee, internet surfing area with printer/scanner, amazon lockers, laundary facility(with hook ups in apt), leasing office sponsored pool summer party/hallowean/Christmas parties , very nice gym equipment, grilling area, trail entry from the back of the community, great fall colors in and around community, and the soothing sound of mallard creek water. All in all a great experience. I stayed there more than 3.5 years and would not have moved out if not due to work.

I have lived here for a while now and I would highly recommend it! I love that I didn't need a cosigner and the staff is very friendly. I love spending time at pool and gym. There is also a beautiful running path that I love to take advantage of. All in all it's a great place to live.

As an individual that has lived in apartments for many years, I find this property to be very friendly, inviting, and full of outdoor amenities. Architecturally, this property is very appealing on the outside, and spacious on the inside. The only downside is the kitchen, in which if were updated, this property would have received a 5* rating from me. The property manager Amanda, and leasing agent Summer, were very knowledgeable, and helpful and employees are extremely friendly, not overbearing ( In a previous apartment with another company, they were constantly needing to enter my home, which was very uncomfortable, and lacked a private feel), and are very helpful when addressing concerns of maintenance, and effective with communication. Leasing this apartment was a Breeze, and onboarding took minutes. Great access for working out in a top of the line gym, and access to this property's amenities are 24-hours, unlike many others. Overall, this is my second time living in Bexley Greenway, and I must say that it has been a pleasure during both times past and present. Cant wait for summertime by the relaxing pool area!! I love how quiet Bexley Greenway is at night and I appreciate the beautiful trees on the Greenway that surround it which is so very nice! I really appreciate how the staff strives to keep the noise levels to a minimum after hours. Even during the day, the noise levels are still at a decent level at the most active time of the day. The location is right off of W.T. Harris Blvd. with great shopping options and business parks only minutes away! I adore the layout of my apartment. It's very spacious in every room with plenty of windows which definitely sold me! It has a functional and stylish kitchen with plenty of cabinet and counter space. The large bay window in my living room give my apartment home a cozy at home feeling. What had sold me to stay another year at Bexley Greenway after living here almost 1 year now was- the staff! Amanda Graham - an excellent Property Manager, Summer Berry- a wonderful Leasing Consultant, and the entire staff are just truly amazing! Here's why: In addition to their much appreciated professionalism; they are approachable, very easy to talk to regarding any questions or concerns that I might have. I have noticed that the staff is also very quick to respond to my repair request and the quality of the repair technicians and their work are very much so appreciated! I also feel safe and at home here at Bexley Greenway. One of the main reasons is because the staff works very hard to make sure that everyone is aware of their surroundings, the staff communicates well any events or incidences, and the staff places emphasis on safety in our community and good advice to residents as to what we can do to continue to keep it safe. I'm glad that I chose to live here.
Bexley Greenway is a great apartment community. The grounds are well maintained and the office staff is amazing. Amanda and Summer are polite and very helpful. The maintenance guy Reggie is super friendly and knowledgeable about maintenance issues. I really enjoy living here.
I moved into Bexley Greenway about a month ago from CA. I must say the experience has been very positive. Amanda and Summer at the leasing office have been life savers. They uploaded a video of my apartment so I can see it before I moved and since my move, they have done everything they can to make me feel at home (told me where I can get groceries and gave me ideas as to where I can take my kids for activities). In addition, management is very responsive to concerns and work really hard to resolve issues (usually within a day). As for the community,...for me, it is perfect! It is peaceful, there is plenty of parking, the greenway is right there, the gym is in good condition (it has a lot of up to date equipment), neighbors are nice, and the pool is nice and warm (and not crowded).
I lived here for just over a year and NEVER had a problem. I use Amazon A LOT and the office helped me manage my deliveries and returns. Always respectful, friendly and timely. Any maintenance- scheduled or unforeseen was always addressed timely and worked with my schedule and pets- (I work at night and sleep during the day). A VERY pet friendly community and that was a must for me. The grounds are clean and well kept-actually very beautiful, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Had an opportunity to purchase, but moved near by. Love the area, the amenities and have always felt safe in this area. Thank you to the all the staff at Bexley Greenway- really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommend.
We LOVE it here! It's quiet. The maintenance people are very professional. We have dogs and this is the most dog friendly community we've ever lived in. I love everyone that works in the office. I love the workout room. It's pretty large and the pool is great. The main thing we like about living here is that it's along side of a greenway.
Bexley Greenway is my first place! So far my experience here has been good! The complex is quiet and well maintained! So far I have not had an safety issues which was a major concern with living on my own for the first time. Rent is always reasonable and for the apartment home I was given I am fortunate. From the other Bexley complexes I see around town they seem to be one of the better chains of apartment living. I will say though the office did lose a package of mine and I was not too happy about that but it could of been worse...they also could be a little better with following through with different things they say they will call you back about as well. Other than that I jus renewed my lease for another year:)
Pros: close to northlake and university research park, pool and other amenities are nice, neighbors keep to themselves, pet friendly, nice layouts. Cons: looks nice but is built very cheaply, not efficient to hear or cool, maintenance is shaky at best, management does not care about you as an individual. It's about average price in the area, it seemed safe at first but there have been several break ins since we've moved in. Management has changed several times in the year we have lived here.
