Greys Harbor at Lake Norman

Do not move into these apartments, poor management they treat us like an inconvenience, poor amenities, thin walls, not a great place to live and we’ve only been here for a couple months!!

Greys Harbor At Lake Norman is a very beautiful place to live . It is quiet, the apartments are fancy and spacious. The office is very helpful . The prices are reasonable . It has everything all in one to make your place feel exactly like home . I love it over here .. I Definitely recommend anyone to come here to live . I am completely satisfied with everything . Thank you !

Average amenities. Not great service. Great location.

Be ready for uncivilized neighbors. Be ready for noise from upper floor. Making formal complaints with leasing office won’t help.

Great place if you want to be shot, shot at, or fall through the rotting stairs in 2021

Ask if your apartment building has any known issues with water pressure before moving here. Also, keep your car doors locked because thieves have broken into vehicles as recently as earlier this month. I am very disappointed that the staff does not reply to emails as well.

I love living here! The community feels very safe, it’s clean, it’s quiet, and it’s right near Birkdale, the highway, and so much more!

Good location, but don't expect to use the pool you see in ad.

The units look nice but the walls are very thin. I am in a basement unit where you can hear the toilet above flush.

The apartment complex itself has been kept clean and looks nice from the outside. The colors and structure are eye catching. The pool and area around it looks nice.

This place is over priced especially since the maintenance team never actually fixes anything.

Maintenance responds quickly. Office staff is knowledgeable and responsive. I’m happy here.

My wife and I have lived at Greys Harbor at Lake Norman for almost 3 years. We are always impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. both the leasing office and maintenance staff are responsive and respectful of the communities needs. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Grey's Harbor at Lake Norman. The grounds are kept immaculately, it's a pleasure to drive in the gate after a long day and know that my I, my wife and daughter reside in such a lovely setting. Thank You!

WORST COMPLEX EVER!!!!!!! I’ve been a resident for a year now and absolutely cannot wait to move!! There has been crime here almost every single night for the past few months… shootings, cars being broke into EVERY NIGHT, cars being stolen, drugs, down to a dead body that was found right outside of my building. As nice as these apartments are, they’re definitely not worth moving into! Especially if you have children! Besides that , maintenance is THE WORST as well. They take forever to come no matter how serious your issue may be! I hate it here. And I can’t wait to move !!!

Beautiful community, pet Friendly , walking friendly- sidewalks throughout community, beautiful pool area, inside apartment has ceiling fans in each room, all appliances including washer and dryer provided

I did a simple roommate release and they tried to kick me out of my apartment. I got to the bottom of it and found out the property manager was lying to me and once I caught her in the lie she stopped responding to my emails. The entrance gate has also been broken for 6 months so it is extremely unsafe. Wouldn't ever rent here again.

Worst experience I have had so far, from the application process, the lack of communication and professionalism is disturbing. Being fined for something I wasn't made aware of, which I should have been given a tour and a breakdown of the rules on my move in date, and I was just given keys and signed paper work and I was in my own. The mgmt office staff seems to be incapable of helping or rectifying any wrong on their part

Horrible! Office staff does not answer phones and provide no help whatsoever to the residents. Maintenance is even worst. It takes more than a week after multiple requests are made to get anything fixed.

This has been the worst experience living somewhere in my life. Management is rude, unhelpful, and will try to charge you for everything. Unsafe: There have been multiple shootings in the area, car break-ins, and a man followed me home to my apartment and harassed me. I had to call the police and management did nothing to address the situation. Fines: They charged us for leaving our trash can for trash pick up and fined us because is was a fire hazard. Yet, let a refrigerator sit in the corridor overnight. I also spoke with the fire department and they said it wasn't against any regulation. Unclean and Noisy: Trash is everywhere and is never cleaned. The upstair resident is extremely noisy and the noise and vibration has made multiple things fall off the wall, including a t.v. Management did nothing to address the noise and it still continues. The only time it is quiet in my apartment is at 11:00 p.m. at night. I honestly hate coming home every night. I'm currently speaking to a lawyer about the issues and documenting the noise, fines, and crime. I hope to end my lease sooner. Management is rude, place is unsafe, trash is everywhere, and the noise is ridiculous. Again, the worst experience I ever had living somewhere.

Dont move here. Period. Had cockroaches, mold, and snakes in my apartment.

This place was all rainbows and sunshine upon move in. After its a different story. I received a dirty apartment with a non functioning shower. Reported it 8 times and now its leaking and causing a flood in my unit and a leak in the unit below me on the roof. I plan to put in my intent to vacate soon. Unacceptable.

This apartment complex seems to be great until you put in your application. Bad management, misinformation, and lack of customer service. You won’t know the details of your unit until a few days before you move in, so don’t be surprised if you find out your unit is fully carpeted and not vinyl wood flooring like you were told. Not willing to work on resolutions. Don’t care about keeping tenants happy.

This property does not seem to care about safety of their residents. We toured in October with a promise of steps being fixed. Moved in December and they were not done. Also have two inches of foundation missing under kitchen counter top. Front door looks like someone took a hammer and went to town on it and the seal isnt correct because you can see light and feel air. They say it is cosmetics for our foundation and will work on it then fix a brick tower by entrance that was clearly only cosmetic.

Dont move in here! Not worth the money, security is poor (shooting on premises the weekend I moved in/management did not update), office & maintenance staff non-responsive (dont resolve issues), garbage removal is subpar...you pay for a service and compactor that arent easy to access because the area is not maintained by the property management. I live in a non-smoking building where residents are allowed to smoke and management is aware/does nothing to resolve.

It is an excellent location, with good and comfortable facilities. The interiors of the apartments are comfortably distributed, with many spaces for your use. The quality of the office staff is excellent.

I dont recommend moving in here. Not worth the money and older apartment so not as clean as others in the area.

When we moved in there was so much damage to the apartment. We let them know but they only fixed certain things. The parking situation is very inconvenient. After 5pm it's hard to find a parking near your complex. Tow truck comes every night so if you're not parked in a designated parking spot you will get towed. Worst of all, there has been a lot of dangerous activity in this complex in the past few months. shots have been fired in and out of apartments. I don't feel safe anymore. It's gated but what's the point if people piggy back or wait until another car let's them in.

Great location and a calm, family friendly community. Units have good natural lighting and nice fixtures. A good fit if you love dogs or dont mind getting your carpets cleaned, as pets are embraced here.

I like living here its safe parking is a bit messy but all in all it's good.

I been living here for 8 yrs. I see my grandson grow up here. Sometimes things got changed with new owners. I like my apartment layout and it is modern. They have stainless steel appliances and washer/dryer. Also have pool that looks enjoyable, gym, pet stations and a community gate for security. We are close to everything you need. Neighbors are pleasant. Visitors have the own parking. No star overnight or you will be towed. If you planning to stay, go to the office they are very good to help you like they did to me thanks... The staff in the office have gone above and beyond to help me and they are very good and knowledgeable. They show you the apartment and you can see the property how clean it is. The maintenance guys are quick and efficient, very good too. My rent is ok so far because I lease my apartment for 12 months. YES... I highly recommend this place. ps...I clean my apartment to maintain mold free. I don't have mold and I don't have complaints for my apartment and staff. Thank you

I have lived here almost 4 years. My Repairr requests have always been answered promptly & problem was fixed. The grounds are kept neat and nicely landscaped .

This is a family community and safety for you kids. The staff keep the community clean and very friendly.

I will never recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I moved here from another State and was very pleased with the beautiful grounds, my apartment layout and updates. Just down the road from Beautiful Birkdale Village and I always find Parking right in front of my unit.

Grey Harbor at Lake Norman has changed names but the manager that is there now is the worst, in order for this property to get back on track they need to find a manager that cares. All of the residents that I have spoken with has stated that we should get together and contact the news station and maybe then the management company will make the appropriate change and get a manager that really works and value residents.

Mold Hidden freaking Mold! Making my family sick! No help! Maintenance sucks!

I’ve been here a month and have gotten very sick. Even hospitalized long story long I noticed some black film and removed vent cover, and then examined all duct work.. FILLED with mold! I was told this does not constitute and emergency and that the issue will be addressed within the month. Office staff here is fun and awesome however maintenance is terrible! Walk through the breeze ways and find spiderwebs un-attended. Look at railings and notice the black mildew/mold. Things get bad before addressed. Awesome area, awesome office staff. The Maintanence is the complaint, read reviews believe them, and notice the things you won’t be shown when you view the property. Peoples visitors cars get towed! A lot of in happy people here. I love living here regarding the potential for this place, but I was told when I moved in that I better not have an issue cause it won’t get resolved. Well I thought I was speaking to a bitter unreasonable person however I have been left feeling like my issues won’t be addressed. I’m terrible allergic to mold, and if we was not in the Corona “Epidemic” I would still be hospitalized for allergic reaction. All my widows up with fans blowing no AC, and spraying bleach on the mold. It’s the best I can do since my situation is deemed “non-emergency”
