I just love the space I have with a two bedroom. My stuff fits different ways. I just recently moved in and so far everything has been great. The office staff is truly amazing. Carrie is so helpful and answered all of my questions. I love how she also, emails me to let me know when I have a package in the office.

These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others. If I ever need another apartment I will come back.

First let me say that I absolutely positively unequivocally love this apartment. The space is ridiculous, it's quiet and so far everyone we've met has been extremely nice. As long as yearly rent increases don't price us out I can see being here for a very long time. The only issue I am finding now is my air conditioning. It's been running nonstop for two weeks.They've attempted to fix it three times already and I'm still sitting in in 80-degree apartment. The unit is old and I think needs to be replaced but I'm sure I'll wind up paying for it when it's time to renew my lease ??.
I love this place! Lots of space and friendly staff. My favorite part about these apartments is the Kitchen! WOW!! There is so much room to actually cook and have the space when baking or just making large meals. The second favorite part is the wood burning fireplace!

Very bad management and even worse maintenance. The utilities bill is separate from the rental bill but you can't pay them separately. Most of the time, the utilities bill never arrived or it was extremely late, making payment late. Management charged what they wanted in late fees. Maintenance issues were poorly handled. Simple things like fixing an ice maker, took over a week to "repair". Hale damaged screens still have not been repaired/replaced, but they have new advertising flags. Parking is horrendous. Many residents have 2, 3 or even 4 cars, management doesn't enforce 1 vehicle in a prime spot. Sometimes had to park 2 or 3 buildings away. Retention pond, behind building 8, frequently got backed up and flooded the parking lot. Pool hours are supposed to be from 9am to around 9pm. Rarely was it opened on time and even rarer that it was open in the evening. Mowers are there around 7am, followed by the blowers at 7:115am. Would I live here again? No way. Would I recommend these apartments? Definitely not! I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't give 0 stars!

We moved into Halcyon two and half years ago and the problems started almost immediately. Parking is a huge issue around the 3 bedroom side of the complex and nothing will be done to resolve it. We have said something to the office several times and nothing ever gets done. The tub in the master doesn't drain properly when the shower is running. It is not uncommon to be standing in at least 2-3 inches of water while showering. I asked my neighbors and they have the same issue. The first summer we lived here our power bill ran about normal for a summer power bill and the A/C worked fantastic. However, last summer and this summer my power bills have exceeded $220 all summer and even with the A/C set at 72 with fans running and room darkening/blackout curtains installed, my apartment doesn't get much below 79-80 degrees. Not something you want to deal with when its 95-100 degrees outside. The A/C quit working all together and maintenance had to be called to my apartment 4 times to "fix" the issue. It still doesn't run properly! When I talked to the office about the high power bills, I was informed that other residents had bills in excess of $400. This is the fifth apartment I have lived in and the first time I have ever heard of a power bill being over $200 let alone over $400. The appliances are pretty outdated. My microwave is from 1990. They may be cheap compared to other places in the area but there is a reason why.
