Halcyon House

When I first moved in it was great . The building has lost its glow and charm. A concierge building should be exactly that. The staff is a lot less and half the time after 6 there is no one at the desk.

So far so good, except for the fact the apartment gets literally zero sunlight at any point during the day. Building and unit are nice. Haven’t had a chance to check amenities out.

I’ve loved living at The Halcyon House! The apartments are spacious, modern, and well-designed, with high-quality finishes throughout. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, are fantastic and always well-maintained. The management team is friendly, professional, and quick to address any concerns. The location is unbeatable—close to shopping, restaurants, and major highways. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of luxury and convenience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live in Costa Mesa.

Very good apartment overall, great service, good neighborhoods, good amenities! The only thing is some facing might hear engine cars driving by

I like living here … the walls are just a bit thin at times and i can constantly hear my upstairs neighbors. I also think they could vaccum the hallways more.

My experience here has been incredibly disappointing. This building is a perfect example of "putting lipstick on a pig"—it may look appealing with its updated interiors, exteriors, pool, and spa, but the reality is far from it. The construction quality is poor, and the noise from my upstairs neighbors, who sound like they’re moving furniture all day, is unbearable. Despite reporting the issue, Management’s only response has been to inform Security, which does nothing to resolve the situation. For 3 months, I’ve been stuck in an unlivable environment with no meaningful action or support. Their lack of accountability and responsiveness is appalling, leaving me locked into a lease for another year, hoping they’ll finally address my concerns.

I can't say enough great things about Halcyon House! From the moment I toured the property with Genesis, I knew this was where I wanted to call home. Bryan,Genesis and the Concierge team are always friendly, professional and willing to go above and beyond to help. The community is beautifully maintained and nothing but luxury. The apartments themselves are modern, spacious and filled with thoughtful details. The pet area has a private pet grooming station and bath area for your pet.The location is unbeatable and close to everything. Close freeway access, shopping and great restaurants and coffee shops. If you're looking for a stress free and seamless leasing process this is a welcoming place to call home thanks to Genesis & Bryan!

The staff here at Halcyon House are amazing: friendly, professional, welcoming and personable. All of them greet me with my name which add a sense of genuine service. I’ve lived here now for 1 and a half month and I love every part of it! Of and the cleaning service via the Amenify App was not only convenient but service with quality!

Apartment is very nice however there were some issues moving in that are still in the process of being dealt with. Still much better than our previous rental all in all.

I'm so happy to be renewing my lease at Halcyon House! This beautiful property continues to impress with its excellent construction and prime location. Being just steps away from fantastic restaurants, OCMA, and the Performing Arts Center is a huge plus, and the convenient access to the 405 and 55 freeways makes commuting a breeze. But the true highlight of Halcyon House is the amazing team. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming and friendly community. From the leasing process to the outstanding concierge service, it feels like being part of a family. I especially appreciate the recent addition of community events, which provide great opportunities to connect with neighbors. As a pet owner, I also love how pet-friendly Halcyon House is. If you're looking for a wonderful place to call home, I highly recommend checking out Halcyon House!

Moved here for a month, satisfied with the environment and still discovery the new activities here. convenient location to supermarkets, malls etc.

This is and has been my home for two years. It completely feels like home and I love living here. The staff from management, leasing, concierge, security, and maintenance (sorry if I left anyone out) are all amazing. I will be here for at least one more year. And I wouldn't want yo be anywhere else!!

Amazing!!!! Halcyon House is the best! Leasing office staff is amazing and so is the concierge! All facilities are clean and beautiful. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment!

The service so far has been great. I was really nervous to move and it's made me feel much more peace about moving. It feels like they really care and strive to make things more convenient for their residents.

As always, almost 2 years in, I absolutely love it here!! We already renewed our lease for year 3 and both my wife and I love calling Halcyon House our home!! For those who don't know this place has an amazing staff, is always making improvements and has great amenities. For those who do know, it feels like living at a resort full of chill people. I highly, highly recommend leasing here to anyone!!

Halcyon House is by far the best community that I have lived in throughout all the years. There are great amenities such as a whiskey room, golf simulator, 2 pools, gym and game room. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

I've had a wonderful experience living here! The apartment is spacious, well-maintained, and features modern amenities like updated appliances and plenty of natural light. The staff is friendly and responsive, always addressing maintenance requests quickly. The community is quiet and welcoming, and the location is ideal with easy access to freeways, grocery stores, and restaurants. Plus, the management ensures the grounds are always clean and well-kept. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to call home! Highly recommend.

Overall good experience. Good amenities offered that are clean and well kept. Security and concierge have been helpful and provide service in a professional and timely manner.

All is well ! Super clean facility ! If you’re looking for a great safe place to live this is your spot. Lots of great pet owners that pick up after their pets. Plan on leaving your car parked as you can walk to movies, fine dining and world class shopping !

I can't say enough good things about halcyon. The staff has made this truly a home to myself and my wife. We just reupped for our 3rd year quite honestly...because we don't want to live anywhere else. They are always improving things even when they are already great (i.e. amenities, etc...). I've lived all over the United States, from Miami to Maui and have never felt so at home!!

Great facilities, gym and pools are resort level. Location is good, lots of places within walking distance. Only negative for me is when some things went missing of mine in the garage, didn't really get much of an answer.

I love it here so much. Everything is so clean and everyone at the leasing office is so nice. I highly recommend people to come and check this place out

This is a very clean, quiet and conveniently located place. The Staff here are very helpful, cheerful and always available to assist you with anything you may need.

I have lived here now for just around 20 months or so and I could not be happier with my experience. I would, and do, recommend halcyon to everyone looking for a place to live!!

A lot of experiences have fallen off since we moved in. Dog park is in bad shape frequently. Recurring safety issues. Social/fitness programming is limited. No yoga classes. Pool is never heated well, even though we were told it was heated year round. Maintenance team is fast and responsive. Props to Luis and crew.

Great place to live. Leave your vehicle parked and walk everywhere. World class dinning and shopping within walking distance. Super clean and quiet facility. Very professional staff will make you feel safe.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LIVING HERE! The staff is courteous, friendly, helpful, and very professional. My apartment is beautiful. I love the overall security of the building as well. Location is great too!

When i had a gas problem it was taken care of very professional . When i call for help it is always given to me . Having a disability it is nice when professional offer to help when needed.

So far, so good! We just moved in and everyone has been super friendly and helpful. Mario and Luis are the best! We submitted a service request and they came the same day to fix the items mentioned. No issues so far, love this place!

Halcyon is a great apartment complex that offers luxurious amenities that are well kept. I like how there are events for residents each month.

I’m a part time resident and couldn’t have pick a better place/area to be in. I also enjoy the resort style pool area, bbq and fitness center. All very clean and convenient.

As always my experience here has been second to none. It had been my home for almost 2 years now and it feels like home. The employees are amazing, the amenities are great and I wouldn't recommend living anywhere else to anyone out this way.

Great experience renting here.. the gym is always quiet and clean. All the public areas are nice and clean. Very happy with our stay so far.

I love living here, it is a well maintained property and the maintenance staff is excellent, prompt and very friendly. I have small nitpicky issues that are not worth mentioning

So far so good. Extra safe community and grounds. Gym has everything you need for a great workout. Pool area’s are kept spotless along with all hallways and common areas. Walking distance to South Coast Plaza and minutes from John Wayne Airport

Great community to live in. Beautiful grounds and plenty of amenities. A minor complaint is the lack of attention to detail on some of the interior parts of the building (ex. crooked moldings, open gaps on fixtures). Also, after rain damage occurred and wallpaper peeled off, it stayed that way for weeks with no repair. It was then just reglued to the wall. I am unaware whether mold inspection was completed. Also, no notifications are provided when elevators are not in service. I understand that their use is required for new move-ins, but pre-existing residents are also important. It would be helpful if we were made aware ahead of time of the days that stairs will be necessary or other accommodations need to be made.

I've moved every 2 years for the last decade and I'm happy to say that Halcyon House will be the first place where I'll make it to 3 ! I absolutely love living here. The ambiance, staff, and people truly make it feel like home. Of course there are hiccups every now and again with other residents and/or staff, but nowhere is ever going to be perfect. If you're a reasonable and respectful person, you're going to be treated well and love it here too!

Place use to be cleaner. But over time bbq areas the floor or hall ways have got dirtier. But besides that community is amazing and staff is friendly.

So clean and I love the amenities. The staff is nice and I lvoe the residents here. I can't wait to see what more this place has to offer. It is well maintained.

We are really enjoying our new home. Super clean common areas and super quiet. The Hot tub is one of the best I have ever been in. I have noticed that they are keeping the pools and hot tubs clean. We are really enjoying how we can walk everywhere with the dog and don’t need to get in the vehicle all the time. We are completely satisfied.

Everyone has been so welcoming, attentive and helpful! We moved from Sacramento and it’s quickly feeling like home. It’s very comfy, quiet and next to everything! We love it here.
