Halstead Tower by Windsor

Selling and leaving my large home of 20 years was very difficult for me, but in spite of my concerns (the downsizing, packing, etc.) I settled comfortably and happily into my new apartment at Halstead.

Jess, Leah, and Tyler, in my humble opinion are extraordinary people with high levels of professionalism and a beautiful spirit! They truly made my decision easy to come to this apartment community.

This is by far the nicest rental community in which I have lived. The staff, the building itself, the amenities and events--all point to employees who actually care. It is a very well run company and place to live.

The office and maintenance teams have made me feel right at home. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor are unmatched. Whether it's a minor fix or a major request, my maintenance needs have been addressed promptly every time. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel truly valued as a resident, I can't recommend Halstead Tower enough. The community here goes above and beyond.

I have had a great experience at Halstead. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way to make sure things are completed. Everything has been prompt. They really make the place worth the money spent.

Halstead Tower is an excellent choice if you’re interested in the fairest (but-still-vastly-overpriced) DMV area apartments with great amenities, assigned parking, and a friendly, helpful leasing office. This community is very pet friendly and the maintenance team is excellent.

Decent apartment, noise from outside is really bad though, which includes the dumpster/compactor. And the stench of weed is pretty much constant and will invade your unit.

Halstead Staff are friendly, professional and prompt! I can always count on my concerns to get resolved quickly.

Sincerely a great place to live, especially when both spouses are working in the area. Clean, secure, with a staff that genuinely cares about what they do, we have been extremely glad we chose Halstead Tower! It is not inexpensive, but compares very favorably with close-by competitors, who are a good bit more expensive. We are VERY happy here!

Living here is awesome. It's a friendly neighborhood with great stuff like a gym, pool, and a place to hang out. Everything looks nice and clean. Carla has been so helpful. If we need anything fixed or have questions, she's there to make things better. She's super nice and really good at her job. We really like it here and think others would too.

I have been a resident for over 7 years. A nice place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The apartment is so inviting and the neighborhood is so convenient. The Location is excellent for exploring the several nearby restaurants and stores which are only a few minutes walk away. I would like to especially thank Carla and Alejandro as they are very responsive and helpful regarding any issues that arise and take under consideration the suggestions and requests of tenants. With that being said, I would be remiss if I didn't say that I do miss some of the amenities that we used to have such as front door shuttle service, concierge service, later party room hrs., but we cant have it all. Overall this is a very nice property.

Alejandro and Carla have been nothing short of amazing. We love this building and we love the staff.

The best part of the process was how helpful the leasing staff were. Big thank you to Carla and Alejandro. I moved from Las Vegas/military and any issues that popped up they were there every step of the way, down to someone helping the movers for my household goods and watching them drop my stuff off when they arrived early. The moving process was not stressful thanks to them.

Halstead Tower overall is a good community. I like the proximity to work, school, and entertainment. There is the occasional noise issues, but that can be expected with limited outside space and small units. I am also not a fan of the parking cost for family and guest, especially if it is only a short visit. It tends to add up quickly. I will give it 7 out 10 compared to other places I considered.

The staff at Halstead Tower are fantastic to work with- I’m a single mom and it makes everything so much easier to know help is just a phone call away if there is an issue in my apartment.

The maintenance crew here at the Halstead Towers is along with Io Piazza, the best I’ve encountered over my years if renting. Thus this helps my decision to stay as a resident.

Around 11:00PM on a Saturday night, I realized that my refrigerator was becoming increasingly warmer and I had an urgent need to remove items from the fridge and freezer before they would have to be trashed. Within 30 minutes of calling the emergency maintenance number, my fridge/freezer were able to be relocated to another refrigerator on site. Given the time of night, as long as I was able to relocate items temporarily, I was okay with a repair at a later time to prevent maintenance from having to come out, so this was perfect. Maintenance came early the next morning to resolve the issue with the refrigerator and I was able to resume using the refrigerator later in the evening. I was back to using my fridge not even 24 hours later on a weekend! Thanks so much for your prompt, kind, and seamless attention.

I love living at Halstead. The staff is friendly and professional. The building is very well maintained and the maintenance staff are quick to respond to requests for help.

Wonderful community that cares about its residents!

The maintenance staff is great! They are always friendly and professional. In general I’m not happy living in this building. It’s not as clean as it was when I moved in and the recycle trash is not removed daily. And the marijuana issue has gotten worse. I’m constantly smelling it in the garage, elevators and hallways.

My fridge broke 2-3 weeks before i had an issue with my washer/dryer .. both times i received a very prompt response and action ( tho it was on weekend late hours for the fridge) and everything was resolved immediately .. i am very happy and satisfied by the professionalism of the maintenance staff and the management office .. thank you

I have been here almost 2 years and love it the staff is very friendly and welcoming I have never seen a maintenance team that gets things done as fast! they are the best. My neighbors are wonderful we all watch out for each other. In less than a few months I made friends that feel like family. I also want to mention the views and the hot tub. I loved watching the fireworks on the 4th of July from the rooftop pool We have had parties in the clubhouse and attended a few. It’s a beautiful building. Glad we made it our home.

Halstead Tower is a wonderful community that is quiet and located beautifully in the center of everything. Staff is very friendly and maintenance is readily available.

The maintenance service at Halstead is A1 superior. Service orders are completed in a timely and professional manner.

I have lived here for 3 months and have had an amazing living experience thus far. The entire Halstead Team is courteous, professional, and prompt. The apartments are well constructed and QUIET. Truly feels like my own space, and feels like home. I am happy I chose Halstead.

The staff is phenomenal but the amount you get for the price you pay is lacking compared to other nearby apartments. No guest parking passes and you have to pay every single time someone visits even if for 20 minutes. If you are on a lower level it is loud and you can hear the cars/traffic. The apartments are nice but outdated compared to other apartments with the same price. The gym is small and as far as I know, there isn't any type of agreement with the gym next door (again, something that the other apartments offer as an incentive).

Everything was seamless from my initial tour to move in. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. Great experience thus far.

This is my first apartment home and I am thrilled to be a part of the community. The building is beautifully maintained, there is no noise and we adore our apartment. I would tell anyone I know to make this their home.

In addition to the location and the amenities, I also picked this community because of the reputation for excellent service and maintenance, and I have not been disappointed. Everyone has been so helpful, everything is taken care of right away, it makes everything so easy. I'm a newly single mom and I didn't want any additional hassles, and this has made it so much easier. Also, the walls are really thick!

We just signed our 3rd rental agreement with Halstead Tower. The apartment is quiet, roomy with a lot of light. Maintenance comes within hours and always fixes the problem. We use the amenities because they are well maintained. Kathy in the main office is courteous and extremely helpful. It's a good place to rent.

The property is well managed and the community hosts engagement events for the residents.

Maintenance personnel are always courteous and effective and resolving any issues that arise.

We love living here at Halstead. It's a great location, the building is clean and the floor plan is perfect. Our management staff is caring, friendly and aways available. Our only serious complaint is with the new parking for pay. We have no problem with guest paying to stay over, but to put the set pay time at 6 pm is awful. When we have friends who may be staying for a few hours after work or for dinner it adds a lot of stress to remember they have to pay or be towed!

Excellent location. Close to old town, D.C, and military bases. The building is constructed in a way where you dont hear your neighbors.

Maintenance requests are handily in a timely manner and the service is excellent!
