Established in 1908, Winter Garden was a major force in the citrus industry around the turn of the 19th Century. And while the orange groves are (mostly) gone, there's still plenty to love about this "sweet" city. It is situated on Lake Apopka, just about 12 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando. Winter Garden is a beautiful suburb, containing a historic downtown shopping district with more than 26 historic buildings. It is also offers access to Florida's most popular rail trail, the West Orange Trail, which extends 22 miles and leads to Apopka. With its vibrant arts scene, Winter Garden is known for its galleries and art exhibits.
While this fantastic city provides fast access to the theme parks (Walt Disney World is just 17 miles south), there's plenty to do in Winter Garden, as well. The historic Garden Theatre, located downtown, hosts more than 200 events each season.

Current resident. This is not a luxury apartment as claimed. There is no luxury here at Braxton. The office staff never answers phone you have to go over there only to see someone sitting right there. Maintenance issues. Sinks starts to smell with water coming out. Bugs and mice in apartment. My car was stolen brand new BMW right in front of my apartment at the back of the complex by pet park. Management could care less. No Cameras to see who stole the car, a police car parked in front of complex is empty just for show no one in the car. Apartment dirty when moved in. Refrigerator had to be replaced the next day it was stained with left over food all in the refrigerator. Wi-fi that comes with apartment always down. Can barely get a service in apartment. At this time my internet has been down a week. This year with this complex has been terrible. The pool has brown stains at bottom, always closed for some reason. Packages go missing. Leasing staff and maintenance staff super nice however they are caught in a rock and a hard place. Do not waste your money. Plenty of nice places in Orlando for the same price. Run if you like luxury!!! Lease ending at months end! Thank God!

Property is beautiful and the apartments are well put together, but good luck ever getting ahold of anybody at the office even during their "business hours." This includes maintenance calls, by the way. People parking illegally yet it never being taken care of. If you're handicapped- never seen anything done about the people parking in the designated handicapped spots. They're very bad at "scheduling" things and people never show up when they say they're going to. Beautiful green complex and great location- less than stellar service.

I feel very safe here. I had zero issues and the front office is very helpful and always have some type of food truck / give away going on and it is really nice. Parking has been 10/10 here so I lucked out. It is not loud nor do you hear any violence. I would feel safe bringing children here. Everything here is well kept and clean, thank you, as a resident..I truly do thank you all for a peace of mind and safe spot.

The property is poorly maintained from the landscaping to the construction to the amenities that are always closed. The pool seems to always have issues. The trash builds up at the compactor and there is a problem with raccoons and opossums coming in the buildings to eat the trash. For what they charge here, do yourself a favor and rent anywhere else.

I have months with rats in my patio and the unprofessional office don’t do nothing about it
At first glance, this place looks great. However, the terrible construction, lack of maintenance in common areas/halls, and the rude/disinterested management will quickly be realized. The landscaping looks awful because they do not maintain it - at all, and they BARELY mow the grass. This new management company has absolutely ruined this property, and the most disappointing part is they do not seem to care at all.
I have lied here for over a year and really like the location, staff and amenities.
My favorite part about living here is the staff! Everyone I have interacted with has been super polite and extremely knowledgeable. Also the location is very convenient for me.
This complex has been great! To start, the pool and fitness center are pristine and super new and clean. There's so much pool seating, and the temperature is perfect. The community is great as well, and we get to have food trucks brought almost weekly. When the management changed, we really didn't notice. The downside/issue we've had is the maintenance staff not coming during emergencies or just not coming ever in a timely manner. The only reason we are leaving is because of the massive rent increase, but if we could, we would definitely stay in this complex!
The new management is only here to collect the money. No lawn care in over 2 weeks. Bug infestation in every outdoor area. Maintenance calls go unanswered. The office keeps saying things are “scheduled” yet no one shows up. This is not anywhere near luxury. Parties held every day:night in the pool area with 2 grills being used constantly. No one cleans up after themselves. Cars rip through the parking lot, like some kind of car show. Not luxury. Overpriced. Management is non existent. Look elsewhere.

Certainly one of the best places I've lived, in other places they usually only care about you before you sign the lease and after that it's a nightmare but here I don't feel like that, they quickly respond to any questions, concerns or service requests and are always professional and kind when you need something. I've recommend this place for all my friends.

Living here is truly like being on vacation 24/7. We love the amenities like the saltwater pool and the huge dog park for our fur baby! Everything in our apartment is so sleek and beautiful, we can't believe we get to live here!
We love AW so far. The amenities are great. Walls are thick, everything seems to be in good working condition. The pet friendly community is great! Cant wait for another doggie play day!

Ascend Waterleigh is a wonderful place to live. Its a beautiful place, and the apartments are very comfortable. Most importantly, though, is the staff here. They are just wonderful! Natasha, Evelyn, and Alyssa are very helpful and kind; in fact, they were so friendly and professional that they are the reason I selected Ascend Waterleigh, and I have not been disappointed. They make this place feel like home. And the maintenance staff is also excellentprompt, courteous, and any problems get resolved quickly. I highly recommend this lovely community.

After making such a big move from Maui Hawaii to Florida its been really nice to have a place like Ascend Waterleigh to call home. Its very comfortable but best of all its brand new. The actual apartment itself is spacious and we love how airy it feels. The floor plan itself is beautifully designed. We are also huge fans of the unbeatable location to all restaurants, shopping, entertainment and theme parks. Finding a place to live from afar and all online plus not being able to visit before signing a lease was stressful and scary but Ascend Waterleigh made it simple and easy and we are grateful it is working out.
Truly a beautiful place to live. The staff is fantastic and takes care of you. Food trucks come by frequently. It's pet friendly. Looking forward to seeing what this place will look like when it's completely done.

La localización es buena, Muy Cerca de todo lo que puedas necesitar y además La administración está siempre atentos a cualquier situación que pueda surgir para resolver a la mayor brevedad posible! Aún hay áreas en construcción pero está Casi todo está terminado ya. Esperando que terminen la piscina que alegadamente estará lista para la primera semana de Septiembre!
I have only been living here for about 2 weeks, but I have been very pleased with my experience so far. The complex is lovely and the management staff if very friendly and helpful. I love that the location feels very residential, away from busy traffic and touristy areas, but is still just a short drive away from Disney.

I am very pleased with my apartment! Staff is great and location is awesome! They made it easy for us and quick in order for us to move-in as I was on a tight schedule and needed unit ASAP! Also, I love how pet friendly and how quiet the complex is!
I really love my apartment here at Ascend Waterleigh. It is an open space with abundance of natural light. Appreciate the updated appliances, counter tops and the extra full size tub. Trash pick up at my door is a great added feature.
Weve enjoyed our experience so far at Ascend. The staff is top notch. Construction is active so weve had our fiber cut twice in two weeks but the issues both times were rectified within a day.

We toured this community last week. Although it completing construction, we can tell it’s going to be nice. It’s very close to Disney and the commute to Disney is only a few months minutes.
