Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Hamilton Park Apartments
When I initially came to check out Hamilton Park a few of the residents said it was a quiet place to live and that I would like it here. I've now been a resident here at Hamilton Park for almost a month and I'm extremely miserable. I live in a second floor apartment and the tenants above me are excessively noisy ALL THE TIME!!! They allow there children to run through out the apartment not only during the late afternoons but well into the early morning hours. Most nights until 3am. I haven't gotten much sleep or been able to enjoy my apartment because of this. I'm embarrassed to even invite people over. It's gotten so bad that I've had to buy ear plugs to help drown out the noise. I've complained to management and they've claimed they've tried to reach to to these tenants with no luck. I asked if I could transfer to another unit but they said nothing was available until February and I would have to agree to another 12 month lease. At this point I'm physically and mentally exhausted. If you're considering this place make sure to come visit the unit you will be living in and make sure this won't be a problem for you.
When I first moved here in 2017 I loved it here. The apartments were under a different management. The staff was very responsive and took care of my needs in a timely fashion. Now that it is has been under new management I hate it here. I can't wait until I move. It's no where to park anymore. Someone broke my son's window back in January. They took a whole month to fix it. I kept making several complaints because it was winter season and my son's room was cold. I now have water damage to my ceilings from them renovating the apartment above me. Tomorrow will make a whole month and they still don't care to fix it after I sent several emails and talked to Sam and the maintenance man in person. It is very sad that I pay my rent every month on time and have to deal with this kind of poor service. I wouldn't recommend moving here!!!!
I currently live at the apartments. I loved the property manager Lauren. The property management company has recently changed. I pay my rent faithfully on time every month. I'm starting to have issues in the apt and the property manager and his maintenance person takes their time at getting the issue corrected. The maintenance person lives on site and is still no help. The communication is all the way off. I would have recommended the apartments, but now no I would not recommend this community until the property management is changed again.
This was an affordable location at a reasonable price. It is spacious and comfortable, but the only downside is no balcony.
