If you are not a smoker, don’t move here. My neighbors constantly smoke pot and it has made everything in my house reek of pot. I get migraines from how strong and stinky the smell is. I have reached out to staff and the only thing they have done is hang a notice and change the furnace filter. But when I asked for lease enforcement, I got ignored. This is supposed to be a no smoking inside place but, I guess the lease terms don’t mean anything to them. Also, they have an auto pay option that doesn’t work. They won’t draft your rent then they charge you a late fee and when you call to have the issue resolved, you get ignored. Also, insulation in this place is horrid. There’s a near constant draft from the outside into my apartment. If you don’t have any other options, I guess this place is better than the streets. The only reason I gave a second star is because at least rent is reasonable.

This place has the worst management. Not a bad place to live but when it’s time to move out you won’t see your full security deposit. They paid me half of what was owed with no explanation. The lady your forced to talk to is rude and no help to the situation and constantly tells you they’ll call you back and she can’t do anything to help. Worst place I’ve dealt with. No explanation of where my money went and why and looks like a costly court battle to reclaim it. This company is out to steal your money and charge you for repair that were there when you move in.

Everyone is very pleasant, staff included. Everything has been prompt and attended to in a very kind, professional, and quick manner! I’ve been here for 2 years and have no complaints. Keep in mind, for every 1 bad thing that has happened, a 100 amazing things go unnoticed!

Been with this complex over 10years. Paid every rent bill on time and in full. Moved in with old carpet which to this day they never updated. When asked they tell us we have to move apartments or put all our belongings outside (and if it rains oh well not their problem). Recently, our AC units compressor stopped working and we reported it may 30th. We were told it’s not considered an emergency even though the holiday weekend was in the 90s and one resident is 9 months pregnant. They say they need to install a new AC but the service provider is 2 weeks behind. When we call to ask two weeks later they tell us it’ll be another two weeks. So it’s taken a month to get us an AC? No cross through breeze because of apartment layout and design, with only one fan in living room. On top of that the pool is normally open until 10pm 7 days a week but now it’s only open if the office is and closes by 5pm Monday-Friday only. No options for relief from summer heat. And what is crazier is we paid rent in full. A discount should be applied because of new expenses like hotels, extra fans, more shower use, and other self paid relief caused by this complex. Not good living conditions, service, and maintenance is the most poor department of any apartment complex I have ever lived in. Do not recommend moving here. It’d disappointing that after more than 10 years as a loyal tenant they are making it very easy for us to start looking for other places.
I live in this one bedroom apartment. The frustrations are worth the convenience.
The Hamptons apartments are a great family place...high ceiling....town homes styles...great area..neighboors...Excellent Management support..near to schools..stores and between two major cities Toledo and Detroit. We feel safe living here which is important for my family.
I live in a two bedroom apartment 2 bathrooms I have a patio I had easy parking in front of my apartment one step to get into my apartment Hampton Apartments is really nice
