Property Ratings at Hampton Creek
Hampton Creek Apartments are everything you could ever want in a apartment community. They answer you on time, are friendly, understanding and they are great apartments! The current staff show you that they are really working to make it the best they can! I would recommend to all!
We were very excited initially to move here. Beautiful setting and very close to everything. Nice office staff - they are just doing their job. Unfortunately it has turned into a nightmare for us because of multiple medical issues I have that the office knew about before we moved in, upon move in and since move in. These apartments are very old and in dire need of a total interior renovation, not just new paint and new flooring. Don't let the model fool you. There is black mold that they have not fixed since move in several months ago. Maintenance is horrible here, so unless it's an emergency don't count on it being fixed for months or at all. It's all just promises. Tenants leave here because of mold and no maintenance so that should tell you something.

I tried to contact this property MONTHS ago to get some more information and an application. they didnt answer until just recently, saying they would only take applications to be on their wait list, meaning I'd have to wait 60 to 90 days before anything happened. I need to move somewhere way sooner than that. Months ago when I tried to talk to them, this would've been acceptable. Not now though. Dont bother with these people. They have no respect for your time.

Hi Mike, I'm sorry to hear that you feel your time has been wasted. Our office staff started at the community a few months back and have been keeping the property completely leased up, so we've been on a waiting list for several weeks now. We're sorry that your contact was missed the first time, our new team reviews apartments.com data weekly to make sure they're not missing out on any leads. If you ever decide you'd like to be added to the wait list, definitely feel free to reach out to our team again.
I’ve lived at Hampton Creek for 1.5 years now. Since then, our AC has been out for a total of 2 months and our fridge is currently out as it has been for the past month. Called today and found out “maintenance” told them they fixed it. We’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money on eating out in the meantime. We are not the only tenants with these issues. Maintenance is slow and they do nothing to help you. Awful place. If I could afford to move I would in a heartbeat! Do not move into these apartments! We’ve had maintenance quit twice and the office is currently filled with temps. The landlords here do not have anything together. I am not normally one to write reviews, definitely not negative ones. However, I do not want anyone else to go through the same problems. This landlord does not care one inch about their tenants and it shows.
I was very impressed how friendly the staff is, the apartments are very spacious and nice, looks like these michiganders are finally home in TN.
So far a great experience! My fiance' and I are looking into moving back to our hometown. We went on a tour today with Tabitha, she was very sweet and helpful with our questions and we left there feeling pretty good about the unit, hoping to be a resident soon. Great outdoor activities they have a park, pool, volleyball, tennis, and basketball court
Worst apartments. These apartments are really old and the company that owns them won’t put any money into them to fix any issues. Our apartment had mold growing under the bathroom tiles. My son and I were constantly sick. Our water heater had to be replaced the first week we lived there. Woods mice became an issue when the grass was cut. When our ac went out and called to have it fixed at night, we were told it was not an emergency to open our windows at night. I lived on the bottom floor with a toddler. When they came to fix the ac he refused to because my dog was in his crate and he was afraid the dog would get out. Had to call a family member to come to my job get my keys, take the dog out of the apartment for him to fix the ac. After all of that the ac stopped working again that same night. The heater gave us issues and had to be fixed multiple times. Mold was under the kitchen sink.
I have lived at Hampton Creek Apartments for the past two years, and I have absolutely loved it! From the first time I walked through the door both staff members were friendly and courteous, and more than willing to help answer any questions we may have had. What few maintenance issues I have had have always been handled swiftly, even when my AC went out on the 4th of July. If you have looked for an apartment in Cookeville, I'm sure you have found that there is not much to speak of. Certainly at least for what we were willing to live in! The renovations that were just completed while we were living there were done efficiently and caused no disruption to us. They installed beautiful new countertops, painted all the cabinetry and added new hardware, upgraded all the light fixtures, as well as lots of updates on the outside of the property! If I wasn't being transferred to Atlanta, I would not have left Hampton Creek! It was a fantastic place to live!
It is outrageous and I do not recommend anyone to stay here! There is so many dogs and cats and everyone owns one. It was disgusting when we moved in. There was cigarette butts everywhere and it is way to small for such a high price. The staff is also very rude!
