Property Ratings at Hampton Harbor Townhomes
These people are cheap and will hold you off on repairs as long as they can. Mice/roaches and ants everywere that's why they make you pay for pest control. The back and middle areas look like a junkyard full of holes. My neighbor stepped on a nail just walking to her mail box. They don't even follow there own contract rules because they are allow a man to have a 100 pound dog that looks like cujo and clifford mixed that is super aggressive towards all the tents. Got lose one time and chased a little boy after breaking away from owner and been here for months. I will keep these posts up daily as management will delete them. Even if they are 100% truthful
If you move here dont expect a parking space. So many guest come here an steal peoples spots daily and they don't leave alot of times and don't care you pay to live here. Goodluck if you don't hed my warning management doesn't care free parking for the whole city I guess
I’ve lived here since June, maintenance always responds and works through my issues. Management never takes too long to get back to me. The homes are open and relaxing, and relatively quiet. A great deal for the square footage and convenience of the location. Will definitely renew my lease once this ones up.
I am so glad I did not see these reviews before I moved in and went with my gut. I have lived at Hampton Harbor for almost 4 months and I love it. My apartment is bright and open. I love, love, love the open ceiling in the master bedroom that even has windows at the top and the extra space over my double closets. Both bedrooms have full baths and there is even a half bath downstairs. I receive so many compliments about the property and my apartment from my family and friends. After shopping tirelessly for an apartment on the Eastside of Greenville, I am so glad that I stumbled onto this one, Greenville is great, but so overpriced. I did not want to pay much over a $1,000 and couldn't find it, everything was $1,200-$1,400. I am very happy with my choice, the location, the people that live here and the people that work here. I will totally be recommending! I wish I could post pictures of my apartment! ;)
LOVE: Location, Location, Location! I love the proximity of Hickory Ridge Apartments to all the areas I frequent in and near Greenville. This small, quiet community and reasonable rent makes it a win in this area. It is also convenient to my job, shopping, Downtown Greenville and Spartanburg. HATE: Maintenance and Management MAINTENANCE: Shoddy repair jobs and temporary fixes abound. 1) The laundry room was recently upgraded with newer washing machines and dryers; however, it is CONSTANTLY unkempt. Trash is strewn around for days on end. I have personally cleaned it up because it was not attended to. 2) There is a portable heater rigged to the lighting fixture to keep the laundry room warm. While it was “nice” of management to think of the tenants warmth and comfort while tending to their laundry, this type of shoddy repair could potentially lead to the warmth none of the residents here would personally care for – a fire. 3) Pest Control is at a minimum. Fortunately I am not referring to cockroaches but ants, silverfish, and water bugs in the summer. MANAGEMENT The previous property manager was an absolute joy. In recent months, she was replaced with a new property manager (whose name escapes me) but she is not personable by any means. She is extremely rude and curt; she doesn’t seem to really care for her tenants at all. I know there must be a “game face” because a rare few will try to get over, but this is not her issue. She is unfriendly, unreasonable, unaccommodating; and she lacks common decency to people overall. In addition, in this profession customer service skills are an absolute MUST and suffice to say she is lacking there too. (As a side note: this complex is affiliated with Hampton Harbor Townhomes and based on the reviews from the resident(s) who live there, they are experiencing the same thing.) My lease is coming to close here and it is safe to that I do not plan on renewing my lease. On a personal note, I genuinely like my neighbors and the location but from a business perspective investing hard earned money renting here a Hickory Ridge is overall a bad deal. Do yourself a favor and cut out the extra Starbucks or whatever and spend the extra money to find an apartment with a great location BUT with newer upgrades, great maintenance and even more so EXCELLENT management. The stress and headaches you will save yourself and your family will add years and quality to your life.
Can't recommend. We have had new landlords since 1/2015. Have been trying to get repairs done for months. We've heard lot's of promises, but no action. On top of that, they are raising rent $95 a month. Stay away.
Rent is about to increase $95 to $125 depending on the months you decide to stay which I have never heard of. We have had so many problems that took forever to be addressed by maintenance. (Mice issue, stink bugs issue, etc!) When we first moved in painting wasn't done properly, paint on the carpet, big opening in ceiling above the closets in master bedroom. We have to move, especially due to the almost $100 to $125 rent increase. (Who does that!?)
