This place is WAY overrated! The office staff here SUCKS and are of very little to no help! The gate has been open since I moved here in 2020, it doesn't work, but they claim it does. They plan to up the rent more than $200 for NO UPGRADES or extras. The pool has been closed for 2 years... the maintenance enter your unit without permission and the property manager ignores emails. They don't allow you into the office, probably because they're not working... it's just horrible! Wouldn't recommend to the homeless.

The stay is nothing like it looks in the pictures. The pool has been closed since I been here. you can't go in the office, so don't get your hopes up. I only gave it one star to make the review but to be honest they don't deserve that at all.

Just give up if website doesn't work, the front office, they are no help. After sending documents direct for manual upload, I was blamed when the quoted apartment that I toured was given to some one else. Then upsold to another unit I haven't seen at a higher rate. After making progress with website, some one deleted my records to cover their mistakes. Attempt to work with anyone other than Marie, she is rude when directing her to documents and records of communication.

Not only is the dumpster constantly full there’s roaches ! You get out on the extermination list they might come they might not! You also pay a gate fee of $50 a month it’s in your lease but the gates have never worked ! They paint over everything so it looks clean and nice but once you move In you see beyond all of that. Maintenance do literally just enough to hide the bigger problems just to get you in. Again they might come out they might not come out also it’s like the extermination people . Biggest problem of them all for sure is THE ROACHES!

I wouldnt recommend anyone to start a lease at these aparments. if you do want to move here make sure that you are secured to move in and that the apartment unit you want is vaycant. my apartment that i wanted to move into was cancelled twice and the second time it was cancelled i wasnt even notified. i was told that i would be moving in on 10/8/2020 but when i got there it was a whole different story. dont depend on these apartments for a roof over your head. Marie the leasing staff has a nice voice but be aware of disappoint , dishonesty and lack of communication. if you are going to do a lease with these apartments please put in for other aparments even if you are promised the unit. i would hate for anyone to go through the same situation as i did especially if your in an urgent situation.

Building area isn't kept clean. Same litter has been in the area for weeks. You pay for trash removal but the dumpster is always full and overflowing with garbage. You pay for a gate card with a non working gate. They make you pay for cable even if you don't want it. Can't get anything fixed and management gives you the run around. They don't care about the tenants they just want the rent on time. Take my advice and find somewhere else to live. I'm definitely not renewing my lease.

I was out yesterday looking for an apartment and was doing a drive by, I walked into the office and to my surprise I was elated to see my former management team here. I immediately explained to Valerie that I want to live here, we did the paperwork and so its on. I must tell anyone that if you are looking for a great place and outstanding and superior customer service, this team has it. I never had any problems the 4 yrs with this management in my previous apartment, they are like FAMILY and I love them, I see that there are some complaints here, but I tell you that Ms. Valerie and Ms. Marie will get the job done, sometime change is GOOD, when it comes to where you live. I recently moved back to the area after years 5. I used to live on the property and I can clearly see changes and improvement that have been made. I have read some of the reviews. The negative reviews, I have to assume those people are gone because they need to be. I came into the office this week and was greeted by Ms. Marie. I also met Ms. Valerie. They are both such lovely LADIES. I love the model and from what I see a lot of work is being done to the community. The location is ideal, very close to many stores. These ladies are very knowledgeable and I enjoyed my conversation with them. I will be leasing at this property and I have also told a couple of my friends to come here. Thumbs up Hampton Point. I knew this property a couple of years ago and I see a huge change. It needed a touch of class :)

They rennovate to lock you into rent, but NEVER/take months to solve any problem!!! Pay for a gate that NEVER is closed! 3rd management decided to put thousands of dollars in rennovation instead of fixing my electricity in my room and my office/livingroom. I tutored from home and if you are planning on working at home do not move here. They warn you when they do work, but don't tell you what they are doing/where. I lost hundreds of dollars due to management that couldn't relay basic info to us. Our cabinets fell off and were so poorly built. We had an ac unit that was 25 years old (recommended to change ever 10-15 years) As we are moving out they decide they are going to change the shower head before the electricity. They built a pointless ugly fountain outside the office that is going to add to your bill. Pest control came once in 3 yrs..yet they charged you 3$ a month. management lies just like the rest of the management before her. I asked for pest control to come and she said the rain would bring in bugs no matter what. The dump is over full and does not get picked up weekly!!! The pool os never open. So you pay for ammenities that are not included. The office will say the county is behind blah blah blah so your children will maybe get to enjoy the pool for 2 weeks. Rent is overpriced and pathetic for what you get. they never replaced crack windows/screens from tenants before. The doors were hung wrong so we had a hard time closing my son's room and the master bedroom and it caused so much damage to the door and frame itself. Maintenance leaves with mud on your carpet and when they fixed our door insulation they left paint all over my rug. USE SHOE COVERS, its not that hard. These people do not respect your home or your space. The cabinet alnost fell on my child's head. The vent actually fell on my head when I was on the toilet. Our garbage disposal leaked for 6 months & produced a fowl odor in our kitchen. At one point we had 3 cabinets left in the kitchen & bathrooms. (NO, none of us slammed the cabinets either). My refrigerator broke 6 times in 3 years. New management claims they aren't broke....but had no problem making me go broke from throwing out so much food. I tried to be so nice even when I had an issue and she was so dismissive. THE ONLY reason I did not report you to the code enforcement is because I was sick of dealing with incompetent, unprofessional, lying children.

The new management is doing a fantastic job! This place looks better and better as days and months go by. It’s sad that people can’t see the Manager Valerie is doing what should have been done for years and I mean her job! I want to personally thank her for enforcing the rules and getting people out that don’t need to be here! The people complaining about someone doing their job don’t need to live here. I have been here for 6 years and this is the first company and Manager that has ever really cared about this property!!!! Valerie and your team don’t leave and don’t change because you’re doing a super job and the property looks great!
Valerie is the new property manager here and she is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The entire neighborhood has gone to trash since she took over and she abuses her power by threatening to evict you if she doesn’t like what you look like or have to say about the concerns of the neighborhood. Stay somewhere else, it’s not worth the money or the headache
Valerie is unprofessional and disrespectful. Since Josie left the neighbor has gone to crap. Trash is left all over the neighborhood. Maintenance request aren’t processed. I’ve been waiting over a month for services. Management has changed so many times over since the year has started. Too many issues for such high rent. The apartments aren’t even worth it.
The staff is terrible. No one likes to communicate and maintenance staff waits a month before fixing any issues you have. Trash pile up outside of the gate of the dumpster. Trash throughout the complex. And for the price you would think you would get a luxury apartment and complex. I doubt that the new renovation will help at this point.
Thank You Thank You Thank You for all of the improvements that you all have brought to Hampton Point. The customer service that is there now is fantastic. The new staff is phenomenal and I am so glad that they are here. Ms. Valerie, Mr. Brandon do not ever change who you all are as a staff because it is because of you all and God that we have a better community.
The new company "Dayrise" is really great! The property is changing fast for the better. Trash is not all over the place and maintenance is really fast and they're repairing the problems in the unit not patching things up. They have started moving people out that don't pay and tearing up the property. I'm never moving out they will have to put me out because I love my large apartment! Keep up the good work Ms. Valerie, Mr. Brandon, Ms. Marie and Maintenance!!!
I moved in a newly remodeled apartment the paint started peeling, the cabinets fall of the hinges, when it came to my apartment insurance it was renewed but they started charging all type of fees but still excepting my rent.
I have lived here for almost 2 years now and I am so grateful that I am not renewing my lease! there are so many roaches and if you put in a maintenance issue, they wont take care of it ever! my dishwasher hasn't been working since April and every month they send someone to tell me it needs to be replaced. I know it needs to be replaced, replace it! The pool just opened a few weeks ago but it was closed since before i moved here. they state there is a fitness center, that is a lie, and the office staff is horrible. they treat you as if you were a liar and are very rude
Horrible place to live. Bug infested. Parking lot always dirty. It's an old complex there trying to cover up to be luxury but its far from it. A LOT OF CRIME. Only around the office is kept clean. The dumpster is always overflowing, a lot of cats and rats around the dumpster area.
The apartment over all is nice and the biggest I ever lived in. The only thing is the neighbors u can hear the upstairs neighbors when they walk or have kids running around. People don't through the trash in the dumpster when u go to the dumpster there is at least 50 to 60 trash bags in front of the dumpster not the apartment complex fault.
