Property Ratings at Hampton Pointe Apartments
This company just wants your money. Don't get sold on the amenities above because most of them are not even true. There are no dishwashers in the units. You only get a parking space in the garage if you rent a 1 bedroom, and parking on the street is horrible. The elevators are always broken. The back door is always open for anyone to walk in. The pool is only open on certain days during the week when everyone is at work; not open on the weekends. They take forever to fix things because everything has to go through an approval process; so its basically whats the highest priority problem to the person doing the approving. The washer and dryers are always dirty, dog poop and pee everywhere, and very low water pressure. No one to contact for after hour problems. Not all the 1 bedroom units are the same size.
This place has tons of cockroaches, Spider's, and Mice/Rats! Management never fix things in your apartment. The rent goes up 3-5% every year. No good parking inside garage or outside the building. Building is run down. I have no idea why the city hasn't shut it down completely yet.
Studio and 1 bedroom apts. reasonably priced and clean. Pool, laundry room and secure parking. Manager is awesome! No nonsense at this place! Transportation, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Not far from LAX. City of good neighbors.

This place has a pool that is possible about to fall. No working main elevator. Too old Outdoor hallways are a little tilted. The water is not always clean in the shower. The fans don't give sufficient air. The toilet keeps running after flushing, we usually have to push the handle down for it to stop. This place is infested with roaches, we once had bed bugs. It was my worst nightmare. This place just doesn't feel safe. Everytime I get home I'm afraid that someone broke in. They have pets and sometimes the dogs won't stop barking. The pool is too close to apartments and you could hear the noisy kids all day. If it were secluded it would be great.
