Hampton River Villas

My husband and I have been living here for going on 3 years now and we cannot get out of here fast enough. Yes it is cheap however management has changed 4 times in the past 2 years and each person seems to care less. The courtyards are filled with trash, you will be living with roaches, and maintenance is laughable. We have lived with mold, a constant stench of smoke, and broken appliances. It is cheap for a reason!

When I called about the the 2 bedroom apartment I spoke with Carolyn who seemed nice on the phone until I got there. She was even more kinder and friendlier in person. She guided me through the the application process and hopefully I will be shown the property soon. Looking forward to some peace and quiet and being near the water.

Carolyn was very kind and helpful. She took time out of her busy schedule to show me multiple units. The property is clean and quiet and the view is GREAT. Looking forward to living here.

I went for a tour with Ms Carolyn too view one of the houses/apartments and she had great hospitality showed me around the area was great... her customer interaction and service was good I would recommend alot of people too come here I love the great hospitality thanks Ms Carolyn

Property Manager Sheree and Assistant Property Manager Amy were over accommodating in securing an apartment for my disabled son. I was very concerned at the end of his lease if I should move him to another property in Hampton. When I spoke with Sheree, she assured me that she could handle the situation with not complications - and that she did. My son was mover to a newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment very close to the management office. Sheree and Amy offered my son the opportunity to let them know personally if he needed any assistance. I count that a big WIN! They are the right leaders for Cordoba Apartments.

Please see for yourself don't listen to negative reviews. Sheree was excellent and her customer service was phenomenal. She made the application process seamless. Her communication was outstanding, especially during this pandemic. I'm excited to be a part of this NEWLY renovated community in the heart of Hampton Virginia.

This is the worst place I have ever lived in my life. 1st: The apartments a infested with cockroaches. I mean everywhere I don't care how many times the pest control people came it didn't even put a dent in them. 2nd: the general appearance from the outside looks hideous bars on the windows almost as if you were living in jail. 3rd Maintenance was terrible My ceiling caved in on me after a week of heavy rain only to find mold growing in the ceiling when I addressed them with it they came and sprayed bleach on the mold (it was black mold did not go away) a few days later my ceiling caved in all over my living room furniture. 4th the walls in my apartment were in the process of buckling In and the roof was slowly pushing the walls down.. they are made very cheaply even in the newly renovated apartments. Under my skins there were holes right into the plaster of the wall. It was disgusting. Save yourself the trouble and don't live there. Also it is a very bad area in a matter of the 7 months i was there, there were shootings, domestic disturbances right next to me, stabbings and loud obnoxious people outside at all hours of the night.

I've enjoyed living and raising two children in this community. The rent has always been reasonable and the apartments have been kept up well. I currently live in a renovated 1 bedroom and love the new stainless steel appliances, cabinets, flooring, carpet and textured walls. There are many residents who have lived here a long time like me and I couldn't imagine calling another place home.

Pet friendly. Decent place to live for the price range. Older buildings that were built spacious and solid. Maintenance is lax and reactive, but once you bring an issue up it's usually addressed very quickly. Most waits are for outside contractor. All in all a good place to live. My only complaint is there isn't any place to secure bicycles. A bike rack would make this place perfect for small families on a budget.
